Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the ability to understand science concepts between groups of students who are taught using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by Wordwall media and groups of students who are taught using conventional learning models in grade IV elementary school students. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were all grade IV students of SDN Gugus VI Sukasada District in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The research sample was determined using a random sampling technique, so that SD Negeri 1 Panji Anom was obtained as an experimental class with a total of 21 students and SD Negeri 2 Panji Anom as a control class with a total of 23 students. Data collection was carried out using a test method with an instrument in the form of 30 multiple-choice questions to measure the understanding of science concepts. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, namely the polled variance t-test with the help of SPSS version 25. The results showed that the ability to understand science concepts of students in the experimental group was better than the control group. This can be seen from the average pre-test score of the experimental group of 65.00 which is higher than the control group of 60.00. In the post-test results, the average of the experimental group reached 91.67, while the control group was 72.13. In addition, the results of the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (α = 0.05), so that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the TGT learning model assisted by Wordwall media has a significant effect on the ability to understand the concept of science in grade IV students of SDN Gugus VI, Sukasada District.

Abstract

The Educaplay game-based Team Games Tournament (TGT) model is one of the media or approaches that integrate learning materials using technology. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the Team Games Tournament cooperative learning model (TGT) assisted by Educaplay can improve students' cooperative attitudes and activeness in the classroom during the learning process. This study is a literature review study with a descriptive review type. The scientific articles used in this study amounted to 30 scientific articles originating from 2 international articles, 15 articles accredited in national journals, and 13 articles proceedings in the Google Scholar database with a publication range of 2022-2026. The data presentation technique uses a table that lists the scientific publication articles that will be analyzed as research data. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively by analyzing and identifying scientific articles to produce a more informative summary. The results of research based on articles that have been conducted show that the Educaplay-based Team Games Tournament learning model can significantly improve learning outcomes in understanding the concepts of learning Mathematics, Indonesian, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Pancasila Education, Physical Education, and English. By using the Educaplay platform, students can improve their critical thinking skills with the ability to work together in fostering a sense of responsibility in solving problems and understanding learning materials in depth.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the limited availability of learning media for Cultural Arts, resulting in insufficient understanding among fourth-grade students, as well as the need for differentiated learning to accommodate student diversity. The study aimed to develop and assess the feasibility of a Monopoly media using the Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE model, which was implemented among fourth-grade students at UPTD SDN 48 Barru. The analysis phase involved teacher interviews, followed by planning the media design and instruments. The development stage included media production, validation by material and media experts, and revisions until the product reached the "Very Good" category. The media was then tested on small and large groups. Questionnaire data were analyzed descriptively using percentages, revealing "Very Feasible" responses from both students and teachers. Formative evaluations were conducted at each stage to refine the product. Based on the development process and assessment results—which identified student needs and learning challenges, while the design emphasized clear objectives and engaging content structure—the feasibility of the Monopoly media for Cultural Arts, observed through validation and student trials, showed a validation score of 52% (Good category) and a student response rate of 82%. It can be concluded that the Monopoly media is feasible for use in Cultural Arts learning for fourth-grade elementary students.

Abstract

Abstract Learning in elementary schools tends to use a conventional approach, thus under-facilitating the diversity of student intelligence. This study aims to describe the application of the multiple intelligences approach in differentiated learning to optimize the linguistic intelligence of fifth-grade students. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method with 27 fifth-grade students as subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that the application of the multiple intelligences approach in differentiated learning is carried out in three main stages. The first stage is preparation, which includes initial observations, theoretical review, instrument development, identification of linguistic intelligences, and lesson design. The second stage is the implementation of learning over three meetings, which includes recognizing feelings, station rotation based on multiple intelligences, and presentation of work results and reflection. The third stage is post-implementation, which includes data processing and analysis, triangulation, and report preparation. The research results show that the application of the multiple intelligences approach in differentiated learning has provided a varied and responsive learning experience to the diversity and unique potential of each student and demonstrated positive student activity and responses. Overall, this approach is effective in optimizing the linguistic intelligence of fifth-grade students through the differentiation of content, process, and product using the station rotation model. Abstract

This thesis was supervised by Rev. Dr. Nurliani Siregar, S.Ag., M.Pd and Rev. Imelda Butarbutar, S.Th., M.Psi., M.Pd at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), HKBP Nommensen University, Medan. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of video learning media on student achievement in Christian Religious Education in seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Simanindo. This research was quantitative, using a quasi-experimental design using a two-group pretest-posttest design. The sample size was 55 students, divided into two groups: an experimental class (using video media) and a control class (using conventional methods). Data were collected through a multiple-choice test (20 items) that had been tested for validity and reliability, a questionnaire (60 items), and a student activity observation sheet. The pretest results showed no significant difference between the initial abilities of the experimental class (average 49.0) and the control class (average 45.61), with a calculated t value (1.3099) < t table (2.0032). After treatment, the average posttest score of the experimental class increased significantly to 80.39, while the control class only achieved 65.96. A one-tailed hypothesis test yielded a calculated t value (5.905) > t table (2.0032), indicating that Ha was accepted. This demonstrates the positive and significant influence of the use of video-based learning media on student achievement in Christian Religious Education (PAK). The regression equation Y = 76.09 + 0.035 X indicates a positive relationship between the use of video media and improved learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was motivated by early reading difficulties found among second-grade students at SD Negeri Periuk I, Tangerang City. This study aims to analyze teacher strategies in overcoming early reading difficulties among students of class II B. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that teacher strategies encompass three main stages. First, the planning stage begins with individual mapping of students' reading abilities as the basis for determining appropriate strategies. Second, the implementation stage includes providing additional learning time, practicing vowel pronunciation, applying the syllable method, and utilizing learning media such as letter cards, picture books, and colored paper tailored to each student's needs. Third, the evaluation stage is conducted routinely through daily reading activities and fluency measurement. Consistent application of these strategies proved effective in improving students' early reading abilities while fostering their interest and confidence in reading.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the various obstacles encountered in implementing economics learning based on the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in class E2 of SMA Negeri 12 Merangin. The study used a qualitative descriptive survey method with data collection techniques through questionnaires and observations. The research subjects were 34 class E2 students who provided responses regarding the learning implementation. The results showed that the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum still faced obstacles such as student perceptions of material difficulties, the use of less interactive learning media, monotonous learning, limited teacher skills in the field of technology, and inadequate supporting facilities. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of increasing teacher creativity and innovation in designing more interesting and relevant learning models and media so that the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum can run effectively according to its objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of records management in supporting operational effectiveness at PT Kepsindo Indra Utama. Records, as a source of strategic information, play an important role in accelerating administrative processes, improving data accuracy, and supporting managerial decision-making. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that archive management at PT Kepsindo Indra Utama has implemented archival principles such as classification, storage, and maintenance, but there are still obstacles in terms of archive digitization and limited human resources. The implementation of a more structured and information technology-based archive management system has proven to improve operational efficiency, minimize the risk of data loss, and accelerate administrative services. Thus, optimal archive management is a key factor in supporting smooth work processes and operational effectiveness of the company.

Abstract

Tahfidz Islamic boarding schools play an important role in producing a generation of Qur'an memorizers who not only possess extensive memorization but also maintain the strength and quality of their memorization. The success of students in memorizing the Qur'an cannot be separated from the contribution of caregivers in guiding, supervising, and evaluating the tahfidz learning process. One of the methods implemented to maintain the quality of memorization is the multiple-of-five tasmi’ method. This study aims to determine the contribution of caregivers to the success of students' Qur'an memorization through the implementation of the multiple-of-five tasmi’ method at Robithotul Islam Krejengan Islamic Boarding School. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study research design. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation involving boarding school caregivers, tahfidz teachers, and tahfidz students as research subjects. The results showed that caregivers’ contributions significantly influenced the success of students' memorization, particularly in controlling the implementation of tasmi’, enforcing discipline, providing motivation, and assessing the fluency and accuracy of students' memorization. The multiple-of-five tasmi’ method was proven to help students maintain memorization strength, improve mental readiness, and minimize recitation errors. Supporting factors include caregiver consistency, student commitment, and a conducive boarding school environment, while inhibiting factors include differences in students' abilities and mental pressure during tasmi’ sessions in one sitting. It can be concluded that caregivers play an important role in the success of students' Qur'an memorization through the implementation of this method.

Abstract

Budiarto Airport has a runway, taxiway, and apron with flexible pavement and a PCN of 37 F/C/X/T. Flexible pavement is elastic, in this case asphalt, while rigid pavement uses concrete and is more rigid. With the increase in aircraft movements, an evaluation of the runway pavement condition using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) is necessary to determine the condition of the pavement surface. PCI is a visual test that assists in the maintenance and repair of pavements when necessary. The results of the PCI survey of Runway 12-30 at Budiarto Airport were 99.10, which is classified as “good,” indicating that the runway pavement surface is still in good functional condition. This is one of the safety factors in aviation, namely the condition of the runway. The more aircraft that operate, the more rubber deposits accumulate on the runway. This causes the runway to become slippery, which can cause aircraft to skid because the brakes cannot work effectively. To avoid the risk of accidents, regular checks of runway skid resistance are necessary. There are several methods that can be used to check the condition of runway friction, one of which is using a MuMeter device. Based on the tests that have been carried out and based on Government Decree No. 94 of 2015 in classifying the damage and roughness experienced on the runway at Budiarto Airport, recommendations for handling the Budiarto runway can be obtained, namely “Major Rehabilitation (overlay or similar methods)”.
