Abstract

Inclusive education strives to offer all kids, particularly those with special needs, fair chances to learn. However, limited teacher preparation, subpar curriculum changes, and a lack of social support are still obstacles in many inclusive early childhood education settings when it comes to developing learning experiences that promote student well-being. The purpose of this research is to investigate the correlation between student well-being, inclusive education, and effective learning strategies for young children with special needs. By examining academic journals issued between 2021 and 2025 using databases such Google Scholar, Scopus, ERIC, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and Garuda, the study used a literature review approach. Content analysis was used to analyze data in order to determine significant themes, similarities, differences, and implications throughout studies. The findings demonstrate that student well-being is a core element of effective inclusive education and is strongly correlated with feelings of security, social acceptance, engagement in learning, and positive connections with classmates and teachers. Children with special needs were shown to have increased learning engagement and psychological health when they used creative learning methods like play-based activities, direct experiences, exploration, and good social interactions. Inclusive educational achievement is greatly helped by supportive learning environments and close cooperation between teachers, parents, and experts. The research finds that incorporating important learning, social support, and well-being ideas is critical for creating inclusive early childhood education that promotes holistic child development. Abstract

Writing is recognized as one of the most challenging skills in EFL contexts, requiring simultaneous management of grammar, vocabulary, and idea organization. The emergence of AI tools such as ChatGPT offers new possibilities for writing support. This study investigates EFL undergraduate students' perceptions of using ChatGPT as a learning tool for writing development, employing a mixed-method design. Quantitative data were collected through a 10-item questionnaire administered to 100 participants, and qualitative data were gathered via semi-structured interviews with 10 respondents. Guided by the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the study examined perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward use, and behavioral intention to use. Findings reveal strong positive perceptions across all TAM constructs, with students reporting benefits in grammar improvement, idea generation, writing organization, and quick feedback. Challenges include over-reliance, difficulty interpreting complex responses, and occasional inaccuracies. ChatGPT is best positioned as a supplementary writing aid under guided and critical conditions.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the importance of text readability in supporting elementary school students’ reading comprehension. The purpose of this study was to describe the readability level of sixth-grade elementary school children’s narrative texts using the Fry Graph Formula. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with children’s narrative texts serving as the data source. The data were collected through documentation techniques by selecting five discourse samples. Each discourse was analyzed by calculating the number of words, sentences, and syllables, which were then converted into 100-word units according to the Fry Graph procedure. The results of the study indicated that the readability levels of the texts tended to be above the sixth-grade elementary school level. Of the five samples analyzed, none of the discourses matched the reading ability level of sixth-grade elementary school students. All texts were categorized at higher grade levels, indicating that most of the texts were still difficult for sixth-grade students to understand. Therefore, teachers were required to provide guidance and additional explanations to optimize students’ comprehension during the learning process. These findings were expected to serve as a consideration in selecting reading materials that are appropriate for students’ reading development levels.
