Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran anak berkebutuhan khusus (autisme dan keterlambatan bicara) di TKIT Ummul Mu’minin Makassar. Fokus penelitian adalah memahami strategi yang digunakan guru dalam menciptakan kesiapan belajar, pemberian tugas dan penguatan, pengamatan perilaku anak, serta pemberian kesempatan untuk latihan mandiri guna memaksimalkan hasil belajar anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menggunakan berbagai strategi yang berfokus pada penciptaan lingkunganbelajar yang inklusif, personalisasi pembelajaran sesuai kebutuhan individu anak, serta pemberian penguatan positif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Proses pembelajaran anak berkebutuhan khusus dilakukan melalui interaksi yang konsisten, latihan bertahap, serta metode yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuanmasing-masing anak, sehingga mampu mendukung pencapaian hasil belajarsecara optimal. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran inklusif di pendidikan anak usia dini.

Riset ini didorong oleh rendahnya kemampuan membaca anak yang disebabkan oleh beberapa variabel, antara lain kurangnya motivasi belajar dan tantangan dalam pengenalan huruf. Riset ini bertujuan untuk menilai dampak media pembelajaran pohon membaca terhadap kemampuan membaca siswa kelas satu SDN Keboananom Sidoarjo. Riset ini menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol posttest-only. Sampelnya ada dua kelas, yaitu kelas 1D yang terdiri dari 28 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen, dan kelas 1C yang juga berisi 28 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data dievaluasi secara statistik menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya simpangan yang cukup besar antara kelas yang menggunakan media pohon baca dan kelas yang tidak menggunakan media pohon baca. Uji statistik menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa media membaca pohon berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca pertama siswa.

The Indonesian language topic holds significant importance in the realm of education. Indonesian serves as the language of instruction in education and as a national language that must be taught from the start, including at elementary school level. Reading is an activity performed by individuals to grasp the message that the writer intends to communicate through language and text. This task enables individuals to access information presented in writing, based on their understanding or experience. Reading fundamentally involves striving to understand the text to interpret the meaning it conveys. The ability to read is a key component of the skills in Indonesian language and literature that must be mastered across all educational levels, including elementary school. This research seeks to examine and outline the intensive reading skills of students in grade IV at SDN Ceweng Diwek, categorized by high, medium, and low levels of learning interest. This research commenced due to the growing government focus on reading skills in Indonesia, which are still viewed as inadequate. Furthermore, several students continue to struggle with recognizing the main idea in the text and possess a restricted comprehension while reading. This research employs a qualitative approach. To evaluate the effect of speed reading on comprehension, the procedures involve organizing reading materials, creating test sheets with questions regarding the content, and instructing students to respond based on specified evaluation standards. The assessments given are presented as descriptive or essay-type questions.

This research is motivated by the low ability to understand students' concepts that occurs in class IV and the use of media in learning is also needed so that students are more interested in learning. The aim of this research is to find out how much influence the discovery learning model assisted by audio-visual media has on class IV students' conceptual understanding at SDN 17 Singkawang. This research is a quantitative research using quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling used in this research was nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling type. So the sample for this research is class IV B as the experimental class with a total of 28 students and class IV C as the control class with a total of 28 students so that the sample in this research is 56 students. The instrument used is a test in the form of essay questions. The research results show that testing the hypothesis using a two-sample t test shows that the value of > is 4.43 > 1.706, so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. With the results, there are differences in the conceptual understanding of class IV students who use the discovery learning learning model assisted by audio-visual media with those of classes who use the direct model at SDN 17 Singkawang. then the Effect Size test obtained a value of 0.96 with high criteria. So in this research, the use of the discovery learning model assisted by audio-visual media has a high influence on students' conceptual understanding. Abstrak This study aims to analyze the need for the development of ethnoscience-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) related to the traditional food Ketupat Air Tanjung in elementary science learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques including LKPD analysis, interviews with teachers and students, and document studies. The results show that the LKPD used in elementary schools is still conventional, monotonous, and lacks interactivity. Most LKPDs consist only of question collections without exploratory activities that can enhance students' creativity and critical thinking skills. Additionally, the available LKPDs have not systematically integrated science concepts with local culture. Teachers and students expect the development of more engaging, contextual, and local culture-based LKPDs to improve students' understanding of scientific concepts and introduce local wisdom in learning. Thus, the development of ethnoscience-based LKPD is a relevant solution to enhance the quality of elementary science learning.

Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah kemandirian belajar siswa masih kurang karena belum adanya perhatian terhadap mandiri dalam belajar. Penyebabnya adalah pembelajaran yang bersifat satu arah, proses pembelajaran masih banyak didominasi oleh guru (teacher center). Alternatif pemecahan masalah pada penelitian ini menggunakan model LEGO (Problem Based Learning, Group Investigation, dan Teams Games Tournament) dan Permainan Mission x. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemandirian siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua macam pendekatan yaitu kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Setting penelitian disini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Pemurus Dalam 6, yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemandirian siswa pada pertemuan 1 mencapai 39% dengan kriteria kriteria cukup mandiri dan meningkat pada pertemuan 4 mencapai 94% dengan kriteria sangat mandiri. Berdasarkan hasil temuan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model LEGO dan Permainan Mission x dapat meningkatkan kemandirian siswa. Disarankan model ini dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif dalam meningkatkan berpikir kritis, kemandirian dan hasil belajar siswa.

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) faces complex challenges in integrating technology, pedagogy, and teaching material content. This research aims to explain the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model with the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) approach to improve the quality of PAI learning. The study employs a qualitative research approach, with data collected through a literature review (Library Research) by analyzing various academic sources, including articles, scientific journals, and books. The findings suggest that teachers must be able to integrate PjBL with the TPACK framework effectively. To optimize PAI learning, educators need both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in utilizing PjBL and TPACK. This integration helps teachers understand how technology can be effectively used in the learning process—not only in terms of operating technological devices but also in comprehending how these tools enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

This study is based on the large number of students who struggle with writing fluency and have low writing skills. The research was conducted to identify the effects of picture card media on the early writing ability of first-grade students at SDN Keboananom Sidoarjo. The study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design and a posttest-only control design. All first-grade students at SDN Keboananom Sidoarjo are included in the population of this study. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with class I B as the experimental group and class I C as the control group. The data collection method applied is a posttest, which will be analyzed numerically using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests. Based on the research findings, it is concluded that the use of picture card media has an impact on the early writing skills of first-grade students at SDN Keboananom Sidoarjo. The analysis results show a sig. (2-tailed) value < 0.000, which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses motivasi dari orang tua dalam hasil belajar seni dekoratif menggambar taplak meja dan teralis kelas IV SD 2 Kesambi , serta mengetahui hasil belajar seni dekoratif menggambar taplak meja dan teralis kelas IV SD 2 Kesambi . Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD 2 Kesambi dengan mengambil subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas IV di SD 2 Kesambi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga tahap analisis yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa motivasi orang tua dalam hasil belajar seni dekoratif di SD 2 Kesambi diberikan melalui dorongan verbal, penyediaan alat menggambar, serta pendampingan saat belajar. Keterlibatan orang tua dalam mengapresiasi karya anak meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, minat, dan keterampilan menggambar anak. Hasil belajar seni dekoratif meningkat dengan motivasi orang tua, terlihat dari kerapian, kreativitas, dan pemilihan warna yang lebih baik. Meskipun ada kesulitan dalam pola simetris dan keterbatasan alat, semangat siswa tetap tinggi berkat dukungan orang tua dan usaha mandiri.

School culture management plays a crucial role in creating a conducive learning environment. This study aims to analyze the strategies of school principals in implementing effective school culture management at SD Negeri 02 Sukorejo, Pemalang Regency. Using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, data was collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results indicate that the principal plays a key role in building a positive culture by strengthening shared values, engaging the school community, and implementing programs that support the school's vision and mission. Cultural programs such as "Jabat Tangan" and "BERJUMPA" are designed participatively, involving all school members. The principal’s strategies ensure that local values endure and remain relevant amidst the challenges of globalization. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that collaborative and innovative leadership from the principal is crucial to creating an effective school culture.
