Abstract

This research was motivated by the low ability of fourth-grade students at SDN Keboananom Sidoarjo in writing argumentative paragraphs. The study was conducted to understand the effects of the Problem-Based Learning model supported by wall chart media on students' argumentative paragraph writing skills. The research approach used was quantitative, with a quasi-experimental category and a posttest-only control group design. The population of this study included all fourth-grade students, while the respondents were students from classes 4A and 4B, totaling 28 students. Data collection was carried out using a posttest and analyzed statistically through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using a t-test. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning model, supported wall chart, had an impact on the ability of fourth-grade students at SDN Keboananom Sidoarjo to write argumentative paragraphs. The data analysis results showed a significance value (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, which is <0.05, indicating that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted.

Abstract

Pembelajaran tematik merupakan pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan berbagai mata pelajaran dalam satu tema yang sama, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa melalui keterkaitan antara disiplin ilmu yang berbeda. Pembelajaran ini melibatkan beberapa kompetensi dasar, hasil belajar, dan indikator dari suatu mata pelajaran, atau bahkan beberapa mata pelajaran Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi-strategi efektif yang dapat diterapkan oleh guru dalam menyusun tema pembelajaran tematik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara dan angket yang dilakukan kepada para guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyusunan tema yang relevan dan menarik dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan memperkuat pemahaman konsep. Selain itu, integrasi berbagai mata pelajaran dalam satu tema, pemahaman karakteristik siswa, serta penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang variatif menjadi faktor penting dalam kesuksesan pembelajaran tematik. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi dan keterlibatan orang tua serta komunitas dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa. Dengan strategi yang tepat, pembelajaran tematik dapat menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna, serta mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan di masa depan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain and Create) learning model with the Sustained Silent Reading (SSR) Method on the Reading Comprehension Skills of Grade IV Students of MI Muhammadiyah Paremono Mungkid. Type of quasi-experimental research (Quasi Experimental Research). Sample selection using the Purposive Sampling technique. The sample of this study is all students of grades IVA and IVB of MI Muhammadiyah Paremono with 23 students in each class. Data collection instruments are in the form of tests and observations. The instrument is tested for validity by experts and tested with the help of SPSS Statistic 25 and its reliability test. Data analysis includes Shapiro Wilk normality test and Hypothesis Test using Paired Sample T-Test and Independent Sample T-Test assisted by SPSS Statistic 25. The results of the study showed that the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain and Create) model with the Sustained Silent Reading (SSR) Method on the Reading Comprehension Skills of Grade IV Students of MI Muhammadiyah Paremono Mungkid. This can be proven through the results of the analysis in the Paired Sample T-Test which produced a Sig.(2-tailed) of 0.000<0.05. The results showed that the average score of the pretest results was 50, increasing after the posttest the average score to 75.4. Therefore, the RADEC learning model with the Sustained Silent Reading (SSR) Method has a positive effect on Students' Reading Comprehension Skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers as facilitators in the transformation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. The subjects of this study were class IVA teachers at SD Negeri 34/I Teratai. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and document studies. The results of the study indicate that class IVA teachers have carried out their roles as facilitators in the transformation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools well through the observed indicators, namely learning planning through the provision of learning tools, organizing learning by providing learning facilities, implementing learning by acting as partners, not superiors, assessing the learning process through the application of the principle of justice.

Abstract

This research based on low students active learning of third grade SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta. Students often passive on learning and not active during class. Low active learning seen on lack of students interaction and completing assignments. This research is Class Action Research (CAR) that aim to increase students active learning on IPAS subject through Wordwall media. This research subject consisted of third grade students on SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta. This research method was conducted of two cycle with. Data collecting through observation and documentation is describe with increasing active learning percentage calculation, then compare with success indicator which is above 75%. Through data collecting show that there’s improvement of 65,19% students had high active learning from cycle I, then improve with 86,88% in cycle II. Based on this result show that Wordwall media is effective to improve third grade students active learning on IPAS subject.

Abstract

Penelitian Quasi-eksperimental ini menilai efektivitas metode Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi matematika kompleks ( Higher Order Thinking Skills ) di SDN Labuang Baji I. TaRL berperan sebagai variabel independen, sedangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis berfungsi sebagai variabel dependen. Peserta terdiri dari murid kelas V yang terbagi menjadi kelompok kontrol (VA, 20 murid) dan kelompok eksperimen (VB, 15 murid). Data diperoleh melalui pretest dan posttest. Hasil pretest menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai rata-rata 66,47 (40% “Cukup”, 60% “Baik”), sedangkan kelas kontrol mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 47,70 (semua berada dalam kategori “Cukup”). Setelah penerapan TaRL, kelas eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata 86,00 (60% “Sangat Baik”, 40% “Baik”), sedangkan kelas kontrol mendapatkan 68,10 (75% “Baik”, 25% “Cukup”). Analisis dilakukan dengan Uji Mann-Whitney U untuk perbandingan antar kelompok dan Uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks untuk analisis dalam kelompok. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dengan nilai NGain untuk kelompok eksperimen sebesar 60,08%, dibandingkan dengan 41,04% pada kelompok kontrol. Uji statistik menunjukkan hasil signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang membuktikan bahwa metode TaRL memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam mata pelajaran matematika tingkat tinggi, sehingga menjadikannya strategi pengajaran yang lebih efisien dibandingkan metode konvensional.

Abstract

Numeracy is a student's ability in counting skills, be it counting lessons, simple counting, and measuring activities that exist in daily life. In addition, numeration skills can be used as capital for students in mastering other subjects. This research aims to describe the types of mistakes that students often make in solving numeracy problems and analyse the relationship between those errors and students' mathematical abilities. The type of research used is a qualitative research subject for class IV students of the Odd semester 2024/2025. The time of the implementation of this research was carried out in the year 2024. Test data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. The technique used in this study is purposive sampling which is used in selecting 3 students as subjects. Subject selection is chosen based on the student's results in doing numeration problems from high, medium and low categories. The instruments in this study used a math ability test and a numeration test. The data analysis methods used are data collection, data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted seen from the aspect of mathematical ability, the following are errors from each subject: (1) Subjects with high mathematical ability make 1 type of error, namely errors in understanding the problem (2) Subjects with mathematical ability are making 3 types of errors in understanding the problem, process errors and errors in writing answers (3) Subjects with low mathematical ability make 5 types of process errors, answer writing errors are found in questions number 1 and 2, transformation errors, reading errors. Students' mathematical ability and numeration skills have a highly correlated and positively related relationship which explains that the higher the student's mathematical ability, the higher the student's numeral ability.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that students' numeracy skills in Indonesia are still low. This is proven by the 2018 PISA Indonesia graph. So there are still many students who do not understand numeracy literacy. Therefore, currently the priority is improving students' literacy and numeracy skills. The aim of this research was to determine whether there was an influence of the problem based learning model assisted by the 3D Pop Up Book on the numeracy of class VI elementary school students. This research uses a quantitative approach in the form of a quasi experimental design which uses a posttest only control design research design. by using two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The population in this study was 50 students, the sample was 25 students, the research method used side random clusters. The data collection method in this research is a test. Using statistical analysis methods with a formulation that is in accordance with the research title, namely the Effect of the Problem Based Learning Model Assisted by 3D Pop Up Books on Numeracy in Class VI Elementary School. A posttest only control design was used, then the T-test used SPSS version 25. Based on the research results, the T-test showed a sig (2-tailed) or p-value of 0.000 0.05, which means less than 0.05. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning Model Assisted by 3D Pop Up Books on the Numeracy of VI Elementary School Students

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes and interest of fifth grade students at SDN Sondakan in light material, through the application of the Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 27 fifth grade students at Sondakan Elementary School. Data collection is carried out through observation, tests and documentation. The research results show that the application of the VAK model can improve student learning outcomes significantly. In the pre-cycle, only 35% of students achieved the Learning Goal Achievement Criteria (KKTP). After implementing the VAK model, the percentage of completion increased to 73% in cycle I and reached 92% in cycle II. Apart from that, students' interest in learning has also increased, which can be seen from four indicators. The overall average student interest in learning increased from the fairly high category in cycle I to high in cycle II. Thus, the application of the VAK learning model has proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes and interest.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of observations in the field, namely the low learning outcomes of students due to a lack of learning activities that involve students because the learning process is still centered on the teacher, so that students are still less active in the learning process. This research aims to describe how to improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila education learning by using a Team Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative model. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was carried out in two cycles, with research procedures consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research data obtained is related to the results of the Team Games Tournament type cooperative learning model. Data collection techniques include tests and non-tests. The subjects of this research were class teachers as observers, researchers as practitioners or teachers, and 20 class V students at SDN 12 Pagaruyung, Tanah Datar Regency. The research results showed that the teaching module for cycle I obtained an average of 79.16% (C), increasing in cycle II to 91.66% (A). The results of the implementation of teacher activity learning in cycle I obtained an average of 71.42% (C), increasing in cycle II, namely 92.85% (A). The results of the implementation of learning activities for students in cycle I obtained an average of 71.42% (C), increasing in cycle II to 92.85% (A). Thus, it can be concluded that the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative model can increase student learning outcomes from 25% to 85% in Pancasila education learning in class V at SDN 12 Pagaruyung, Tanah Datar Regency.
