Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of the scientific approach on students' critical thinking skills in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning at Class 4C of SD Wachid Hasyim Surabaya (SD Plus), involving 16 students. The scientific approach includes observing, questioning, experimenting, reasoning, and communicating stages to encourage active student participation. This study employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques, including observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations were conducted to record students' critical thinking skills during the learning process. Interviews with the teacher and students provided in-depth insights into the application of the scientific approach. Documentation strengthened the data from observations and interviews. The results indicate that the scientific approach enhances students' critical thinking skills, as shown by their ability to formulate problems, create hypotheses, analyze data, and conclude learning outcomes. These findings offer essential insights into teaching strategies that promote critical thinking skills in elementary school students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine efforts to prevent moral degradation that leads to early marriage through the study of Sutta Pitaka. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative methodology with a literature study approach or what is often also known as library research to obtain information data by placing data facilities in libraries such as books, documents, magazines, records of historical stories or pure library research related to the object of research then compiled in a description without being exaggerated or reduced until finally making a conclusion from the research that has been carried out. The results of this study indicate that 1) Moral degradation and early marriage among teenagers can be prevented by implementing moral teachings in Buddhism, such as those contained in the Samajīvī Sutta and Maṅgala Sutta. 2) The teachings in the sutta pitaka provide important guidance in choosing healthy relationships, making wise decisions, and maintaining morality and personal integrity 3) By understanding and practicing the teachings in the sutta pitaka, teenagers are expected to avoid early marriage and maintain their moral quality, so as to build a better and harmonious life. 4) Understanding the effects of early marriage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the Cooperative Script learning model in improving the writing skills of fiction stories among third-grade elementary school students, involving two classes as samples, namely class III A (25 students) and class III B (23 students). This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, where class III A is the experimental group implementing the Cooperative Script model, while class III B is the control group using conventional learning methods. The instrument used in this study is a fiction writing test, which includes language aspects, story structure, and creativity, analyzed using a writing quality assessment scale. The data obtained were analyzed using a t-test to test the significance of the differences between pre-test and post-test scores in each group. The results show a significant improvement in the fiction writing skills of students taught using the Cooperative Script model. The average post-test score of the experimental group was higher compared to the control group, indicating that the Cooperative Script learning model is effective in improving the fiction writing skills of third-grade elementary school students. These findings provide evidence that the use of the Cooperative Script model can be an effective alternative to enhance writing skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of the Green Campus programme on students' environmental understanding, attitudes and behaviours, as well as identify factors that influence its successful implementation at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving 5-10 students as subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and participatory observations, then analysed through transcription, encoding, theme identification, triangulation, and interpretation of findings. The results showed that the Green Campus programme significantly contributed to increasing students' environmental awareness and behaviour. Supporting factors include personal awareness, campus policy, social interaction, personal experience, and extracurricular activities. Support from lecturers, campus officials, and educational materials also play an important role, although effectiveness can be improved through practical training and the utilisation of technology. The programme not only changes students' behaviour on campus, but also influences their actions in daily life.

Abstract

The Baduy Luar comunity, as part of Indonesi’ s indigenous communities, lives a simple life by utilizing traditional tools. These tools not only serve pracitial functions bat also embody a philosopy pf living in harmony with local wisdom and the environment. IN their daily lives, they use tools made from natural material,such as wooden sticks, canes, and earthenware. These tools reflect their abiliti to utilize nearby resources without damaging the environment. One of these tools is golok, amachete- like tool made of forged iron. It is approximately 30 cm long and 5 cm wide, with one side sharp and the other blunt. The handle is made of wood, and its sheath is carved from wood as well.The golok holds a significant role in their daily lives due to its multifuncionality. It is usude for chopping firewood, cleaning, and even processing food.Its versalility demonstrates The skills and efficiency in living a life fully dependent on nature. The use of traditional by integrating modern tecnology in a balanced way with their principles of life. This approach fosters harmonious interactions between humans and the environment, while also adapting to modern life.By learning about the traditional tool of the Baduy Luar community, we gain insight into how indigenous communities maintain self- sufficiency, simplicity, and respect for nature. This tipic is a crucial reflection inensuring traditional vaalues are preserved amidst the currents of modernization, particularly in sustainzation, particularly in sustainability and evironmental harmony.

Abstract

Etika berkomunikasi menjadi sangat penting dalam era media digital saat ini, apalagi pada kalangan pemuda generasi z (Gen-Z). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat dan mengetahui persepsi pemuda Gen-Z terhadap etika berkomunikasi, serta aplikasi komunikasi yang sering mereka gunakan, dan juga tantangan erika berkomunikasi yang sering mereka alami di era media digital saat ini. Metode yang digunaka dalam penelitian ini berupa penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi pemuda Gen-Z terhadap etika berkomunikasi yang paling banyak yaitu mahasiswa 87,46%. Serta aplikasi komunikasi yang banyak digunakan oleh pemuda Gen-Z adalah WhatsApp 29%, mahasiswa dengan jumlah terbanyak 62, disusul masyarakat 8 dan siswa 7. Dan tantangan yang sering dialami adalah penyebaran informasi palsu (Hoax) 47, mahasiswa dengan jumlah 38, disusul masyarakat 6 dan siswa 3.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level still faces various challenges in improving students' listening, reading, writing, and storytelling skills. One alternative that can be implemented is the use of animated video media, which has been proven to enhance motivation and learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of animated videos in Indonesian language learning by referring to ten previous studies. This research employs a literature review method by analyzing ten articles discussing the use of animated videos in Indonesian language learning. Various testing methods used in previous studies include pretest-posttest, t-test, expert validation, and N-Gain analysis. The analysis results indicate that animated videos significantly contribute to improving students' language skills. Several studies report an increase in students' learning scores by 78%-90%, with a significant difference between the experimental class using animated videos and the control class applying conventional methods. Additionally, this media has been proven to enhance students' interest, motivation, and comprehension of learning materials. However, challenges in its implementation include limited technological infrastructure in schools and teachers' readiness to utilize this media optimally.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of Al-Asafeer media use in learning speaking skills student. The researcher used a quantitative method with data collection techniques using Observation, Interview, Test, and Documentation. The researcher used a sample of 55 students. it is known that the average learning outcome of the experimental class is 87.58 and the average learning outcome of the control class is 75.96, so it can be concluded that the average learning outcome of the experimental class is more than 11.62 compared to the control class. Furthermore, through the calculations that have been carried out using the t- test, the t table from df 53 at the significance level of 5% is 1.674.So the t value is calculated > t table (7,476 > 1.674), it can be known that the value of Sig (2-tailed) is 0.000, meaning that Sig (2-tailed) < 0.05 then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi di sekolah mengenai kegiatan pembelajaran yang sebagian besar masih bersifat akademis. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran di sekolah idealnya harus merangsang dan memaksimalkan semua kecerdasan yang beragam sejak masa bayi. Namun, keadaan yang sebenarnya menunjukkan adanya tantangan dalam pengembangan kecerdasan interpersonal, karena pendidikan masih sebagian besar bersifat akademis dan belum memiliki varian khusus, seperti media gamifikasi, dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kecerdasan interpersonal anak. Salah satu metode untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal anak adalah melalui penggunaan permainan berburu harta karun. Hal tersebut menjadi latar belakang penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak kegiatan berburu harta karun terhadap kecerdasan interpersonal anak usia 5 sampai 6 tahun. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka. Peneliti menggunakan data dan sumber sekunder. Prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan berasal dari temuan-temuan publikasi terdahulu dan artikel jurnal yang relevan dengan permasalahan yang peneliti identifikasi. Berdasarkan temuan-temuan penelitian terdahulu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan permainan berburu harta karun berpengaruh terhadap kecerdasan interpersonal anak usia 5 sampai 6 tahun.

Abstract

Religious moderation plays a crucial role in maintaining social harmony by promoting tolerance, inclusivity, and balance in religious practices. This study aims to analyze management strategies for implementing religious moderation in schools to foster social harmony. The research employs the Narrative Literature Review (NLR) method by selecting, analyzing, and synthesizing relevant studies on religious moderation strategies in school environments. The research process includes topic selection, reference searching, source selection based on thematic relevance and quality, and narrative synthesis of findings. The results identify three key strategies for managing religious moderation in schools: (1) integrating religious moderation into the school curriculum, (2) strengthening an inclusive and tolerant school culture, and (3) enhancing educators' capacity in religious moderation education. These strategies aim to instill tolerance, respect for diversity, and prevent the spread of extremist ideologies among students. The findings highlight the importance of comprehensive policy implementation to strengthen religious moderation in education
