Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

The purpose of this study was to determine how effective child-friendly schools are in building students’ spiritual character in the era of computers and the internet. This study used a literature study, which focused on collecting and analyzing literature relevant to the topic discussed. This study aims to gain a deep understanding of the practices that have been carried out and the problems faced in today’s education world. The results of this study found many educational approaches used in Child-Friendly Schools. These strategies include incorporating spiritual values into the curriculum, incorporating relevant extracurricular activities, and using pedagogical approaches that encourage active student participation. The findings indicate that with the right approach, child-friendly schools can function as an effective environment in building students’ spiritual character so that they are not only able to compete academically but also have integrity and a positive attitude in interacting in the digital era.

The purpose of this study was to produce Pacota media for FPB and KPK learning in elementary schools. The development of learning media in this media research uses the ADDIE research type (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Data collection techniques in this study were through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the data obtained from the validation of media experts were 97.33% with a very feasible category, the results of the validation of material experts were 80% with a feasible category, the results obtained from the teacher questionnaire were 92% with a very feasible category, and the results of the student response questionnaire were 96.52% with a very feasible category.

This study aims to describe the challenges faced by teachers in teaching Natural Sciences (IPA) within the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka at the elementary school level. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The subject of this study was a classroom teacher at SDN 112/I Perumnas who had applied the Kurikulum Merdeka in her teaching practice. The findings revealed seven key themes: limited availability of learning media, time and logistical constraints, teacher creativity in overcoming resource limitations, varied teaching methods, application of Problem-Based Learning and Project-Based Learning approaches, the adequacy yet suboptimal use of learning facilities, and the gradual adaptation process to the new curriculum. These findings indicate that while teachers have made efforts to implement active and contextual learning, significant challenges remain, both technical and systemic. Therefore, continuous support is needed in the form of training, provision of instructional media, and policies that promote teacher flexibility and creativity in effectively implementing the curriculum.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran IPA berbantuan komik terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik kelas IV SDN 37 Cakranegara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian quasi experimental tipe nonequivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik non probability sampling dengan jenis sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes dan observasi. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji independen sampel t-test dan uji prasyarat yang harus dipenuhi yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil uji independen sampel t-test diperoleh nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 3,036 > 2,024 dan nilai sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05 yaitu 0,004 < 0,05 yang artinya Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak dengan nilai effect size yang diperoleh sebesar 0,960. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran IPA berbantuan komik terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 37 Cakranegara dengan kategori tinggi.

This research is a class action research that aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 106 Pekanbaru in IPAS subjects. This research uses the Kemmis and Mc Taggart design which consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The research technique was conducted through triangulation of techniques consisting of interviews, learning outcomes tests and field notes. The subjects of this study were 30 students consisting of 12 female students and 18 male students in class IV SDN 106 Pekanbaru in the 2024/2025 school year. The results showed an increase in learning outcomes marked by an increase in the value of students who completed KKTP by 56.67% in cycle I up to 83.88% in cycle II. Based on the results of class action research that has been carried out, it is concluded that the use of the PjBL learning model assisted by Happy Notes media can improve student learning outcomes in IPAS subjects in class IV students of SDN 106 Pekanbaru.

This study aims to determine the effect of using animated video learning media on the understanding of science and natural science concepts of grade IV students at SD Negeri 1 Krama Jaya. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design of the nonequivalent control group design type. The sampling technique used in this study is a non-probability sampling technique with a saturated sampling type. The data collection technique used is the test and observation technique. The hypothesis test used is the independent sample t-test. The results of the independent sample t-test obtained a t-count value> table, namely 3.066> 2.026 and a sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, namely 0.004 <0.05, which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of animated video learning media on the understanding of science and natural science concepts of grade IV students at SD Negeri 1 Krama Jaya.

This study aims to describe the problems related to speaking skills among elementary school students and to identify the factors contributing to the low proficiency in speaking. Speaking is one of the essential aspects of language learning, as it enables students to express ideas, interact with others, and develop intellectual abilities. However, in reality, many students face challenges in articulating their thoughts verbally, particularly when speaking in public. This research employs a qualitative approach with data collected through direct observation at SDN 1 Jungkare. The observations revealed that several students experience difficulties in speaking, which are caused by various factors such as limited listening and reading skills, low self-confidence, and physical, psychological, linguistic, and neurological factors. These speaking difficulties affect the learning process and students’ academic performance. Therefore, appropriate strategies are needed to overcome these barriers. One proposed solution is to encourage students to actively speak during learning activities, supported by the teacher’s role as a facilitator who can create a supportive learning environment. Through continuous practice and habituation, students are expected to gradually improve their speaking skills. This study highlights the importance of focusing on the development of speaking skills as an integral part of language learning in elementary education.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kekatifan peserta didik di kelas 6 SD Negeri 1 Tlobong Klaten dengan menerapkan proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila Ling Bertaru “Lingkungan Belajar tanpa Perundungan”. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini memiliki subjek berjumlah 19 peserta didik dari kelas VI. Model putaran spiral yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc Taggart menjadi desain untuk menerapkan penilitian ini dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklusnya dilaksanakan dengan 3 tahap yakni penyusunan perencanaan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, serta pengamatan dan refleksi. Wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi dilakukan selama kegiatan pembelajaran sebagai metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan. Kekatifan peserta didik dinyatakan berhasil meningkat jika indikator pada kategori baik mencapai 75% dari jumlah peserta didik. Hasil dari penerapan proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila Ling Bertaru mampu menjadikan keaktifan peserta didik meningkat. Keaktifan peserta didik terjadi peningkatan pada setiap siklus yang dilakukan. Pada kegiatan kondisi awal rata-rata persentase keaktifan pada kategori baik adalah 14,03%, pada siklus 1 adalah 33,33%, pada siklus 2 adalah 75,44% peserta didik menunjukkan keaktifan yang baik. Penerapan proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila “Ling Bertaru” mampu memberikan peningkatan keaktifan peserta didik, antara lain melalui kegiatan tanya jawab, penyelesaian lembar kerja, dan presentasi hasil kerja.

The purpose of the study is to determine and examine the problems pertaining to elementary school pupils' speaking abilities. A qualitative descriptive case study is the research methodology employed. Twenty-six third-graders and one homeroom teacher from SDN Brangkal 1 in Gemolong District, Sragen Regency, serve as the research subjects.The techniques and tools used for data collection were observation and interviews with students and teachers.The analysis technique used is qualitative with the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.The research results show that the problems with students' speaking skills include (1) lack of self-confidence, (2) limited vocabulary, (3) speaking mixed with regional languages, (4) students not understanding the content of the conversation, (5) incorrect placement of tone and intonation, and (6) poor speaking etiquette.This research also provides recommended solutions to address these issues, including (1) the implementation of teaching methods that can enhance students' speaking skills, (2) the organization of public speaking. training, (3) the development of learning media, (4) the application of Peer Lessons strategies, (5) a communicative approach, and (6) the analysis of factors causing speaking difficulties

This study aims to improve students’ IPAS learning outcomes through theapplication of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Book Creatorin grade V of SDN 45 Teluk Panjang. The research employed a Classroom ActionResearch (CAR) design in two cycles, each consisting of planning,implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected throughobservation, interviews, documentation, and learning outcome tests. The resultsshowed a significant improvement in lesson planning, implementation, andstudents’ learning outcomes. The average score increased from 80 (B) in cycle I to91 (SB) in cycle II. Both teacher and student activities also improved from good tovery good. The application of the PBL model encouraged students to be moreactive, enhanced critical thinking and collaboration skills, and resulted in betterlearning performance. The integration of Book Creator as a learning media furtherincreased student engagement and motivation. It can be concluded that the use ofthe PBL model assisted by Book Creator is effective in improving IPAS learningoutcomes in elementary school.
