Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

The study aims to describe the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to improve learning outcomes on the material of reproduction and the distribution of the number of frogs in the fourth grade of elementary school. This type of research is Class Action Research (PTK) using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subject of the study was 17 students in Class IV SD N 06 Kubu. The results show an improvement. In Cycle I meeting the observation of the teaching module from 95.8% to 100% in cycle I meetings II. Implementation on the teachers and students aspects of cycles I meeting I 85.7% went 96.4% in Cycle II meeting I. Average evaluation of learning outcomes of the participants in the I cycle 66.41% to 86.11% in the cycle II meetings I.

The Team Games Tournament (TGT) model is a game-based learning approach that emphasizes teamwork and healthy competition to enhance student engagement in the learning process. In this context, TGT was implemented to improve mathematics learning interest among students at SDN Soropadan Surakarta. Two groups of students were tested: an experimental group using the TGT model and a control group following conventional teaching methods. Pre-test s and post-test s were employed to measure changes in mathematics learning interest. Analysis results indicate that the application of the TGT model led to a significant increase in students' interest in learning mathematics compared to the conventional method. The average score improvement in the experimental group suggests that TGT is effective in creating a more engaging and motivating learning environment. The greater variability in scores within the experimental group highlights a broad positive impact, despite individual differences. In conclusion, the TGT model proves to be an effective strategy for enhancing mathematics learning interest and holds significant potential for broader application in primary education.

The purpose of this study is to determine how modified monopoly media affect the introduction of hijaiyah letters in Padang City's Assyofa Kindergarten. This study used a quasi-experiment as a quantitative method. A test was employed as the data collection method, and the test's goal was to determine how big of an impact this modified monopoly media had on kids' comprehension of hijaiyah letters. The homogeneity test, hypothesis test, and normality test are the data analysis techniques that are employed. After that, the data was analyzed using the SPSS 29.0 for Windows application and a difference test (t-test). The study's findings indicate that students at Assyofa Kindergarten in Padang City are introduced to hijaiyah letters at a significantly higher rate when modified monopoly media is used. with a 0.001<0.05 significance level (2-tailed). As a result, there is a big impact from using modified monopoly media to introduce hijaiyah letters.

This research aims to 1) find out the description of the reading abilities of group B children in village and urban kindergartens 2) find out the application of the Scrabble game to the development of reading abilities of group B children in village kindergartens and urban kindergartens 3) find out the influence of the Scrabble game on the development of group B children's reading abilities B in Village Kindergarten and Urban Kindergarten. The research design uses a true experiment. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, tests and documentation. The subjects in this research were 10 kindergarteners in the village and 10 kindergarteners in the city. The research results show that there is a significant influence in providing Scrabble games on improving the reading ability of children aged 5-6 years, kindergartens in villages and kindergartens in cities. In Kindergartens in Cities and Rural Areas With results showing that Based on the results of the Friedman test, p-value = 0.000 (p < 0.05), thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it is concluded that there is a statistically significant increase between reading ability scores students before and after treatment 1, 2 and 3 using the Scrabble game.

This research aims to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students through the application of cooperative learning methods to material on the human circulatory system at State Elementary School 15 Banda Aceh. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with research subjects consisting of all class V students and class V teachers. Data was collected through observation and structured interviews to understand the implementation of learning methods. The research results show that the application of cooperative methods is effective in encouraging students' active participation in discussions, supporting each other, and increasing collaboration. Students are more enthusiastic and responsible for the results of group work, and are able to analyze and apply the concepts learned in the context of everyday life. Despite the challenges of managing group dynamics, strategies such as role assignment and constructive feedback succeeded in creating a positive learning atmosphere. These findings suggest that cooperative learning methods not only contribute to academic understanding, but also to the development of important social skills for students. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for teachers in implementing effective learning methods to improve the quality of education in the future.

This study develops learning media in the form of learning videos assisted by the assemblr edu application, a development research model. The type of development research or in English Research and Development (R&D) based on the results of the validation test of 3 validators, the validation results carried out by the validator are categorized as very valid with an average of 86.66 categories, namely: language validation gets a very valid category with a percentage of 90.00%, the media category gets a very valid category with a percentage of 86.66%, the content category 83.33% with a very valid category, the practicality assessment is filled in by educators with a percentage of 91.11% categorized as very practical and by students getting a percentage of 91.65% with a very practical category, the effectiveness assessment is seen from the learning outcomes of students who have increased which gets a percentage of 91.30% with a very effective category

This study aims to analyze the principal's strategy in assessing teacher performance in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SDN Cikaret. The Merdeka Curriculum is the focus of the study because it is a new innovation in the world of education in Indonesia that emphasizes relevant, inclusive, and student-oriented learning. This study uses a qualitative research method. case study approach by collecting data through in-depth interviews, observations, and analysis of related documents. The principal at SDN Cikaret has succeeded in developing a teacher performance assessment strategy that is in accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. The development of comprehensive and relevant assessment instruments and the implementation of training programs for teachers are integral parts of this strategy. So that the implementation of this performance assessment was successfully carried out on time and the assessment results were good. Overall, this study shows the importance of the role of the principal in developing effective strategies in assessing teacher performance in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum can make a significant contribution to improving the quality of education at SDN Cikaret and supporting the realization of national education goals.

ABSTRACT Smart hafiz is an audio-visual learning media that can be used to improve the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an for young children. This research aims to determine the effect of smart hafiz on increasing the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an for young children in Al-Wildan kindergarten, Makassar city. This research uses quantitative experimental methods. True experiments pre-test post-test control group design research design , with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The sampling technique uses probability sampling, simple random sampling. The research results obtained from the wilcoxon test showed that the asymp sig (2-tailed) .000 < 0.05 in the experimental group and the asymp sig (2-tailed), 001 < 0.05 in the control group, meaning that there was a significant influence on the use of smart hafiz towards increasing the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an for early childhood in Al-Wildan kindergarten, Makassar city.

Pembentukan karakter peserta didik di tingkat sekolah dasar merupakan bagian integral dari pendidikan yang menyeluruh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan literasi budaya dan kebangsaan dalam membangun karakter pada peserta didik SDN Siwalan. Literasi budaya dan kebangsaan diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan sikap dan nilai-nilai positif pada anak-anak, termasuk rasa cinta tanah air, penghargaan terhadap budaya lokal, dan kesadaran sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan literasi budaya dan kebangsaan secara konsisten dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar mampu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik tentang identitas budaya dan nasional serta memperkuat karakter mereka. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya integrasi lebih lanjut dari literasi budaya dan kebangsaan dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar untuk mendukung pembentukan karakter yang lebih baik.

Online learning carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic has caused most students to experience learning loss or loss of knowledge and skills (literacy and numeracy). One of the government's steps to overcome this is by introducing the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) policy in one of its programs, the Teaching Campus. One of the partners of the Teaching Campus Program for Class 6 is SD Negeri 200 IX Bukit Mulya. The aim of carrying out this research is to determine the impact of implementing the Class 6 Teaching Campus program, especially on the development of literacy and numeracy skills as well as adaptation to technology. The method used in this research is qualitative and data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. This research covers all students at the assigned school, a total of 134 students. Based on the results of these observations, a work program was prepared. From the implementation of the work program, satisfactory results were obtained, there was an increase in student competence, especially in literacy and numeracy skills which were visible during the implementation of class AKM as well as the growth of good character in students. Based on this progress, it can be concluded that the work program that the author implemented in the Teaching Campus Program has succeeded in bringing positive impacts and changes in the world of education.
