Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) Model assisted by Wordwall media on the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in fourth-grade students of SDN Cikande Permai. This study uses quantitative research with a pre-experimental approach. This study uses the one group pretest-posttest. Data collection techniques are tests to determine learning outcomes, as well as student response questionnaires to the application of Wordwall media. Data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive data analysis and inferential data analysis. This study shows the results of data analysis, the average pretest experiment was 45.8 and posttest experiment 83.3. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest. This indicates that there is an increase in student learning outcomes using the Numbered Head Together (NHT) model assisted by Wordwall compared to students who use conventional methods. The results of student response questionnaire data processing produced an average value of 84.56. The data analysis resultsabove demonstrate the influence of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model with the aid of wordwalls on student learning outcomes, as evidenced by the increase in post-test scores.

This paper aims to comprehensively review and analyze various theories of language, psychosocial, and emotional development in children, as well as their relevance in the context of Islamic education and character building. This paper is expected to provide a better understanding of this development process and serve as a consideration for educators and parents in educating children. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach, which consists of theories relevant to the research problem. The data sources in this study are divided into primary and secondary sources. The primary source in this study is the book that is the object of this study. Secondary sources are additional data sources that, according to the researcher, support the main data. The results of the study show that language, psychosocial, and emotional aspects are closely related and influence each other. Deficiencies in language development, such as difficulty communicating or expressing oneself, can affect a child's social-emotional development. Conversely, social-emotional maturity enables children to use language more effectively in interactions.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh dampak yang dirasakan masyarakat setelah terjadinya bencana Galodo (Banjir Bandang) di Nagari Pandai Sikek Kabupaten Tanah Datar seperti kehilangan tempat tinggal, kerusakan lahan pertanian,hewan ternak, harta benda bahkan kehilangan keluarga. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan antara lain : (1) Untuk mengetahui dampak sosial yang ditimbulkan oleh Galodo (Banjir Bandang) di Nagari Pandai Sikek Kabupaten Tanah Datar (2) Untuk mengetahui dampak ekonomi yang ditimbulkan oleh Galodo (Banjir Bandang) di Nagari Pandai Sikek Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Kuntitatif Dekriptif. Populasi sampel dalam penelitian ini alah semua Masyarakat yang terdampat bencana Galodo di Nagari Pandai Sikek sebanyak 100 KK. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kuesioner dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu: observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dalam bentuk persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dilihat dari kondisi sosial masyarakat aspek pendidikan kesehatan dan tempat tinggal. Aspek pendidikan seperti akses pendidikan sebelum terjadi bencana Galodo berjalan baik. Namun setelah terjadi Galodo dimana terdaoat 46% anak tidak sekolah dan 30% tidak lancar. Aspek Kesehatan seperti Kondisi dan ketersedian air bersih sebelum terjadi Galodo tergolong lancar dan baik. Namun setelah terjadi Galodo kondisi kesehatan masyarakat sebanyak 28% masyarakat mengalami maslaah kesehatan. Dan ketersedian air bersih juga menurun dimana 42% masayarakat denagn kondisi ketersedian layanan air bersih kondisi Kurang baik dan 26% kondisi buruk. Dari Aspek tempat tinggal Masyarakat dengan kondisi rusak berat yaitu 42%. Kemudian Kondisi Ekonomi Masyarakat dari aspek Pekerjaan mengalami penurunan kondisi kurang baik 46% . Aspek pendapatan juga mengalami perubahan 34% serta 40% Masyarakat kehilangan hewan ternak, dan 40% kondisi lahan mengalami kerusakan.

Traditional games are an integral part of Indonesia’s cultural heritage and possess significant educational value, particularly in fostering students’ character development. This study focuses on the implementation of the traditional Bakiak game as a medium for strengthening character education among elementary school students. The research was motivated by the declining popularity of traditional games among students, which has led to concerns about the loss of character-building opportunities embedded in such activities.This qualitative research employed a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data collection, reduction, and presentation techniques. The participants consisted of students from SD Negeri Wirokerten.The results indicate that the implementation of the Bakiak game contributes positively to the development of students' character. The activity supports the enhancement of physical and motor skills, fosters cooperation, and nurtures appreciation for individual differences. Supporting factors for implementation include the availability of time, a flexible curriculum, and strong support from the school community and students’ parents. Conversely, inhibiting factors include limited facilities and infrastructure for traditional games and student behaviors that still require development.This study provides empirical evidence on the educational potential of traditional games, offering valuable insights for educators and future researchers in designing relevant and sustainable character education programs.

The study aims to develop Augmented reality-based learning media on the subject of the human digestive system towards students' critical thinking skills in elementary school. The problem raised in this study is the low involvement of students in science learning due to the use of conventional media and the abstract nature of the subject matter. Using the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The product developed is in the form of AR media that can be accessed via mobile devices and displays visualizations of the digestive system complete with interactive explanations and activity sheets. Validation was carried out by validator experts and tested through one-to-one, small group, and field trial stages. The validation results from three experts (subject matter, design, and language) showed that the media developed obtained a percentage of 83.33%, included in the "Very Valid" category. The practicality test was carried out through one-to-one with 3 students, obtaining a score of 89.33%, and a small group of 5 students obtained a score of 91.6% in the "Very Practical" category. To see the potential effects of the media, a field test was conducted on 17 students. The results showed as much as 94.1%, in the category of "Very Good". Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that this Augmented reality media is suitable for use in learning.

Kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap pendidikan tambahan di luar sekolah formal semakin meningkat seiring dengan tingginya persaingan akademik dan kesadaran orang tua akan pentingnya dukungan belajar yang bersifat personal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang rencana usaha bimbingan belajar sebagai solusi alternatif yang menjawab keterbatasan pembelajaran di sekolah serta sebagai peluang usaha yang prospektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan kajian literatur dan analisis konseptual. Penelitian ini menguraikan analisis peluang usaha, strategi pengembangan menggunakan kerangka SWOT, serta manajemen operasional dan evaluasi program berbasis model CIPP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha bimbel memiliki potensi besar untuk berkembang apabila dikelola dengan strategi yang tepat, pendekatan pembelajaran yang adaptif, serta pemanfaatan teknologi secara optimal. Inovasi dalam layanan, peningkatan kualitas pengajar, dan evaluasi berkala menjadi kunci dalam menjaga keberlanjutan dan daya saing usaha di tengah perubahan dinamika pendidikan.

This study aims to determine the effect of the interactive educational game Baamboozle on the critical thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students. using a quantitative approach with an experimental method (quasi-experimental) type of posttest-only control group design. The subjects of the study consisted of two groups: the experimental group (class IV A) and the control group (class IV C) each consisting of 30 students with a purposive sampling technique. The experimental group was given treatment using the Baamboozle game, while the control group used conventional learning. Validity and reliability tests were carried out using SPSS 25, with Cronbach's Alpha results of 0.801 indicating high reliability. Data analysis included normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing using independent sample t-test. The results showed a significant difference in the posttest scores between the experimental group and the control group, with a significance value of > 0.05 for the normality and homogeneity tests, the data was declared normally distributed and homogeneous with a significance level of > 0.05 and a t-count value of > t-table. These findings indicate that the interactive educational game Baamboozle has a positive and significant effect on the critical thinking skills of fourth grade students in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). It can be concluded that digital games such as Baamboozle can increase student engagement and higher-order thinking skills in elementary education

This research aims to develop a digital learning resource in the form of an E-Book titled “Kamus Praktis Bebaso Palembang” for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 07 Palembang. The background of the research lies in the lack of digital-based learning resources that integrate local cultural content, particularly the use of Bebaso Palembang (Palembang refined language), which is gradually fading among students. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D model consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate, but only implemented the first three stages: Define, Design, and Develop. The development process began with needs analysis, learner analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, and instructional objectives formulation. The design stage involved media selection, content structuring, and initial product development. The development stage included validation by subject matter experts, media experts, and language experts, as well as practicality tests through student response questionnaires and interviews. The validation results show that the E-Book is “very valid” with an average score of 88.76%. Practicality tests show a percentage of 83.38%, indicating that the E-Book is "very practical" and well-received by students. The results of this study suggest that the E-Book Bebaso Palembang is suitable as a supporting digital learning tool that enhances students' interest in local language learning while contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage in the digital age.

Dalam identifikasi siswa anak berkebutuhan khusus merupakan langkah utama dalam membuktikan penyediaan pendidikan yang baik dan tepat. Proses mengidentifikasi menyertakan pengamatan terhadap berbagai karakteristik fisik, kognitif, emosional, dan sosial yang unik dari anak pada umumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi siswa di Sekolah Luar Biasa Kembar Karya I, Perumnas Klender. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, meliputi observasi langsung dan wawancara kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat membantu sekolah menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang baik dan mendukung. Penelitian ini juga menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pihak sekolah dan keluarga dalam mendukung perkembangan dan kesejahteraan anak. Pemahaman yang meluas tentang kebutuhan siswa ABK, diharapkan pendidikan bisa merata dan memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk berkembang.

This study aims to describe the enhancement of elementary school students’ creative thinking skills through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in Civic Education (PPKn) learning. The method used in this research is a literature review, examining various sources such as national journals, scientific articles, and relevant books. The results of the review indicate that the PjBL model is effective in developing students' creative thinking abilities, as it actively engages them in designing, executing, and reflecting on meaningful and contextual projects. In the context of Civic Education, this model encourages students to explore values such as nationalism, democracy, and social responsibility through real-life, collaborative activities. The characteristics of PjBL, which emphasize problem-solving, innovation, and product presentation, align with indicators of creative thinking such as fluency, flexibility, elaboration, and originality. Therefore, the implementation of Project Based Learning has the potential to be an alternative learning strategy that optimizes the development of creative thinking skills in Civic Education at the elementary school level.
