Abstract

Pancasila students embody Indonesian students who have competence and behave according to Pancasila values. One of the elements of the Pancasila profile is critical reasoning which is contained in advanced mathematics books and will be a provision for Indonesian students, especially phase E at SMA/SMK levels in an effort to develop themselves and face challenges in the 21st century. The purpose of this research is to analyze student books in accordance with aspects of the values of the Pancasila Student Profile which focus on elements of critical reasoning and provide recommendations as material for consideration in improving student books. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The results obtained are books that are relevant and encourage students to reason critically by presenting various problem solutions, and there is a special column entitled "Mari Berpikir Kritis" in each chapter which leads students to reason critically in understanding various advanced issues. However, this book still has drawbacks, namely the critical thinking column in each chapter has a different presentation measure. This is due to the difficulty level of each chapter presented. Totally, this book has been able to become one of the supports in forming a nation's generation that has a critical reasoning dimension on the Pancasila Profile.

Abstract

The flood of information due to the emergence of information technology makes it easier for someone to view and study any information obtained without meeting the author face to face. The impact of authenticity on whether the information obtained can be accounted for. The effort to answer this challenge is a person's literacy skills to avoid getting caught up in wholly inauthentic and irresponsible disinformation. Pesantren also carry out efforts to overcome the problem of floods of information and religious literacy as an educational institution concentrating on religious understanding compared to other scientific fields. Based on this, this research aims to understand the strategies of Islamic boarding school leaders in building religious literacy skills. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with a case study type. The research results show that leaders' strategies for building religious literacy skills are carried out through establishing religious literacy policies in the vision and mission and developing religious literacy based on local characteristics. Religious literacy based on local characteristics is implemented by reading the al-Qur’an and kitab kuning daily, using various learning methods to improve reading skills, collaborating with other Islamic boarding schools, having a well-equipped library, regular library visits, and promotions. Abstract

Most learning motivation research focuses on students' performance with various abilities and skills and still needs to integrate constructive learning technology tools. Therefore, this study answers research questions about differences in stu-dent motivation and learning outcomes using the online flipped classroom based on differences in students' self-regulatory levels. Data was obtained from 108 students in coastal area schools, who were divided into two groups. Students' self-regulative abilities are measured using a four-point Likert scale, and learning outcomes are obtained from multiple-choice questions. The data collection in-strument used resulted from the developing of The Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ). The hypothesis was tested using multivariate analysis of variance to find answers to research questions. The results of this study show higher levels of motivation and learning outcomes in the online flipped classroom group. Furthermore, the research results show the influence of student self-regulation on student motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study was to determine the effect of a combination of problem-based learning with team-assisted individualization, problem-based learning with think pair share, and cognitive style on learning outcomes. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design that uses a 2x2 factorial design. The research population was XI Mathematics and Natural Science (MIPA) students in SMAN 1 Kraksaan and XI Mathematics and Natural Science (MIPA) of SMAN 1 Paiton Probolinggo, East Java, Indonesia, in 2022/2023. the samples were selected non-randomly, consisting of problem-based learning with team-assisted individualization (control) and PBL-TPS (experimental) groups. In both groups, given cognitive style test. The research instrument was 25 multiple-choice questions. Instrument validation is valid (0.89) and reliable (0.94). Posttest results were analyzed by two-way ANOVA test through SPSS v. 25. The study's results were; 1) There are differences in learning outcomes between problem-based learning with team-assisted individualization groups and problem-based learning with think pair share; 2) There are differences in learning outcomes between groups of cognitive style Field Dependent with cognitive style Field Independent; and 3) There is no interaction between learning models and cognitive styles on learning outcomes.

Abstract

Search, Solve, Create, and Share is a learning model that guides students to the process of solving problems. With this Search, Solve, Create, and Share learning model, students can train creative thinking skills to be able to expand or search for ideas independently. This study was conducted to see the difference in mastery of the concept of students who use the Search, Solve, Create, and Share learning model and conventional learning on global warming material. This study was designed with Posttest-Only Control Design. The samples used were class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class with an integrated Search, Solve, Create, and Share learning model Mind Mapping and XI IPA 2 as a control class with conventional learning. The results of the t-test show that there are differences in mastery of the concepts of students who apply the Search, Solve, Create, and Share learning model integrated with Mind Mapping with control classes that apply conventional learning.. The conclusion of this study is that there are differences in mastery of the concepts of students who apply the Search, Solve, Create and Share learning model integrated with Mind Mapping with students who apply conventional learning, and mastery of the concepts of students who apply the Search, Solve, Create, and Share learning model better than the control class with conventional learning.
