Abstract

The religion moderation contains an understanding in a commendable attitude that is built on a positive understanding of religious teachings, in the form of thoughts, words and actions that lead a person to a not-extreme behaviour in responding to things and has a complete attitude of tolerance. The purpose of this research was to analyze the implementation of religion moderation in the school and its benefits for the school environtment. This study was employed a qualitative research, with a grounded theory approach. The data was collected using interview and observation techniques, and other supporting documents. The research indicated that (1) Religion moderation was a comprehensive understanding that was in harmony with and built on religious teachings, implemented in the form of thoughts, words and actions by emphasizing overall tolerance in relations with and between religious communities, (2) Implementation of religion moderation in the Public Elementary School 4 Klungkung was carried out by prioritizing aspects of harmony, mutual respect, mutual support formal activities in the both classroom and outside the classroom such as greeting all religious communities, giving greetings and support to each other religious holidays , and holding a dharma santhi activities at the end of each school year, (3) the benefits of implementing religion moderation at school were in the form of comfort for every school member, lively activities on religious days, and an increase in mutual respect and love between school members.

Abstract

The initiative aims to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Enhancement Project (P5) in student character formation. The qualitative approach is used in the initiation of the SDN of the First Grade I, using observations, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Successfully collected data is analyzed through a series of stages, including data reduction, data presentation, and verification, with the aim of generating conclusions based on findings during the study. Research results show that implementation of P5 involves measures such as design, management, assessment, evaluation, and follow-up. The P5 theme focuses on sustainable lifestyles and local wisdom, with specialized modules covering data literacy, digital literature, and humanism literacy. P5 management in High School I includes team formation, identification of school readiness, character dimension selection, theme determination, and implementation time allocation. Formative and sumative assessments are used to evaluate student character development, while evaluation involves identifying weaknesses and monitoring student skills. The final evaluation and follow-up involves character strengthening and the continuation of positive practices through the Mari Actions program. The further action of Mari Acts is expected to be a means and a positive habit in strengthening the character of the pupils, in line with the character profile of Pancasila students. This research provides an in-depth overview of the implementation of P5 as a character education strategy in SDN Tunggulwulung I, providing inspiration and reference for other schools that want to adopt P5 to strengthen student character education.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the implementation of values and character education through thematic learning as well as supporting and inhibiting factors at SDN Renda, Belo District, Bima Regency. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive qualitative research type. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. Observation activities carried out by researchers included the condition of school culture, gathering information about the implementation of values and character education through thematic learning, and supporting and inhibiting factors. Researchers conducted interviews with several sources who were considered to provide information related to the research focus. The documentation used is documentation that is relevant to the research topic. The process of processing and analyzing data through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, as well as conclusions and verification.

Abstract

Learning media is an important tool in the learning process which functions to achieve learning goals. The lack of availability of interesting learning media in elementary schools causes learning to become monotonous. This research aims to determine the process of developing animated video media and the validity of animated video media. This research method is development research using the 4D model, namely define, design, development and dissemination. The resulting learning media is animated video media for theme 4, my obligations and rights, subtheme 1, my obligations and rights, learning 1. The validity of animated video media received a very valid category without revision, reviewed based on validation results by material experts, language experts and design experts. In the material aspect, the average score was 94.56% in the very valid category, in the language aspect, the average score was 93.33% in the very valid category, and in the design aspect, the average score was 100% in the very valid category.

Abstract

Teachers are one of the most important elements in educational institutions. Along with advances in technology, teachers play an important role in education. Teacher performance is influenced by other factors such as Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), work motivation and teacher's work engagement. This research aims to determine the influence of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), Work Motivation and Teacher's Work Engagement toward Teacher Performance. The research subjects were 121 teachers at XYZ Elementary School, Bekasi Branch. Data was collected through distributing a questionnaire consisting of 92 questions using a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis uses SmartPLS 3.0 and the approach used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)-Partial Least Square. In this research, it was found that technology, content and pedagogical integration competence (TPACK) and work motivation had a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. However, one variable, namely teachers' working engagement, has a positive but not statistically significant relationship with teacher performance.

Abstract

This study is based on the discourse that Indonesia will experience a golden age in 2045 so it is necessary to prepare quality human resources so that it can provide positive things in accordance with what is expected. The education unit is the main gate of success. Not only creating quality human resources but education needs to shape character in accordance with national values to face challenges in the future. Based on this analysis, this study aims to describe the character education contained in the history textbook for class XI of the Merdeka Curriculum provided by the government as a learning facility. This study was conducted using content analysis with the history textbook grade XI Merdeka Curriculum as the subject and character education as the object. The existing data is then analyzed in a qualitative way by reducing data, presenting and drawing conclusions. From the study that has been carried out, a connecting line can be drawn that in the history textbook for class XI of the Merdeka Curriculum, which consists of four chapters starting from the colonialism period to the proclamation, there is character education in accordance with the indicators that have been formulated, which include spiritual, nationalist, independent, shoulder to shoulder, and integrity.

Abstract

Character is a trait that is inherent in every human being. Character formation can occur in various life processes. The process of character formation can be through traditional music games. Traditional games are cognitive symbols that are passed down from generation to generation. Forming character can strengthen an individual's identity and personality and directly develop a child's psychological aspects. Character formation aims to create a tough and strong personality in facing every situation and condition of children, especially the learning process. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological type of research. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation. The technique for determining the research sample uses a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis techniques for this research are data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results of the research prove that there are several character values ​​that emerge in the process of playing traditional Edang Tatong music which include the value of cooperation in the form of harmony in the process of playing the music. The value of creativity in the form of skills in processing the edang tatong musical instrument both individually and in groups. The value of unity appears in the form of comfort between one another as a group in the process of playing edang tatong music. Academic grades have an influence on increasing the learning motivation of Edang Tatong music players. The value of democracy refers to the freedom to play edang tatong music without translating it. Cultural awareness values ​​Refer to how to properly care for culture and history over time and introduce many people to existing cultural heritage. The conclusion of this research study states that the edang tatong music game is one of the most important media in the process of forming children's character.

Abstract

History is not only about studying the past, but also about how we study the past and use it as a guide for living in the present. The essence of history is past events reconstructed in the present to serve as provisions for life in the future. The VSTP rebellion in Semarang in 1923 is an interesting event to be reconstructed and packaged in historical learning in accordance with current developments. Learning that does not keep up with the times will only make students unable to adapt to new environments that may be present when times change. This material is important because this event is one of the important events during the movement that students must know. The aim of this research is to share knowledge information with history teachers so that they can develop learning materials that suit the needs and characteristics of students to achieve previously determined learning objectives. In this research, the researcher used a descriptive type of library research, where this method uses documents as research sources that are collected and analyzed, so that they become research data. The results that the researchers got were that VSTP was an organization of railway workers who rebelled against the railway companies during the Dutch East Indies together with ISDV because their rights as workers were not fulfilled and were looked down upon. From this incident, teachers can develop history learning materials in the form of handouts, modules, LKPD and comics packaged electronically. However, teachers are not limited to these learning materials alone, but can develop other learning materials according to students' needs and characteristics. It is hoped that the development of learning materials can help teachers in the learning process in class, and can make students more enthusiastic about learning history.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze student perceptions regarding the use of artificial intelligence quillbot in overcoming plagiarism and students' awareness of academic ethics. This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection uses observation, questionnaires, interviews and document studies. Data analysis is carried out continuously, starting from data reduction to drawing conclusions. The research results show that the use of Artificial Intelligence QuillBot in overcoming plagiarism in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra is highlighted through two approaches, namely first, the resource person supports the use of the plagiarism checker feature as a solution for detecting plagiarism in their scientific work. They consider QuillBot not only as a tool, but also as a necessity in completing course assignments well, especially because a low level of plagiarism is expected. Second, QuillBot's ability to paraphrase automatically can simplify the process of avoiding plagiarism, reduce the risk of using unoriginal content, and increase the authenticity of scientific work. Some students consider their awareness of academic ethics to be good, showing progress in respecting the principles of academic integrity, such as avoiding plagiarism and stating sources clearly. However, there is still an opinion that awareness of academic ethics still needs to be increased because there are still many students who are less aware of the importance of academic integrity, especially regarding the issue of plagiarism.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education cannot be separated from learning activities because education includes the learning process. However, in reality, learning that occurs in the school environment is still far from the expected target, namely related to learning media that is still conventional, so that it has an impact on geography learning outcomes, therefore new innovative and modern learning media are needed. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Google Earth learning media on the learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri Ngoro Jombang on natural disaster mitigation material in the 2022/2023 school year. This research is a quasi-experiment with data analysis using: descriptive analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, and Mann-Whitney and Wilcoxon tests. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri Ngoro Jombang increased in the control class and experimental class with the calculation of the superior average of the experimental class.
