Abstract

The agricultural sector plays a vital role in Indonesia's economic structure and food security, yet rural farmers often face significant challenges regarding market access and long, detrimental distribution chains. This study aims to design and build a web-based e-marketplace system that facilitates direct transactions between farmers and buyers to cut off conventional distribution lines. The system development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing phases. The system was built using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework for the back-end and MySQL for database management. The results indicate that the developed platform successfully provides features for managing products, categories, orders, and real-time sales reports. Based on Black Box testing on 10 main functional scenarios, the system proved valid and operated according to user specifications without functional errors. In conclusion, this e-marketplace is effective as a technological solution to expand the market reach of local farmers and increase the efficiency of agricultural product transactions.

Abstract

Usability is a critical factor in the successful implementation of information systems, particularly in community-based health services involving adolescent users. This study aims to measure the usability level of a web-based adolescent Posyandu information system using the System Usability Scale (SUS) instrument. A quantitative descriptive method was applied by involving 10 adolescent respondents selected purposively at Posyandu Seruni, Tangerang City. Respondents were asked to complete several main task scenarios on the system and then provide their assessments through the SUS questionnaire. The results show that the average SUS score was 72.75 with a standard deviation of 10.30 and a 95% confidence interval ranging from 65.38 to 80.12. This score places the system in the “Good” category, indicating that the adolescent Posyandu information system has a fairly good level of usability and is acceptable to users. However, some respondents provided lower scores due to navigation difficulties and unclear terminology within the system. These findings provide a foundation for improving the interface and enhancing user experience in the next development stage.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital logistics has increased dependence on mobile delivery applications to manage shipments, package information, and courier operations under strict time constraints. Nowdays, ergonomic and usable user interface design is essential to reduce cognitive load, minimize errors, and maintain operational efficiency. However, empirical usability research focusing specifically on delivery service applications remains limited, particularly studies conducted in realistic usage contexts. This study evaluates the ergonomic quality of a mobile delivery application using online usability testing. A quantitative evaluation framework is applied, employing three established metrics: the System Usability Scale (SUS), task completion time, and error rate. These measures capture perceived usability, interaction efficiency, and error occurrence during representative delivery-related tasks. The findings reveal key usability issues related to navigation structure, information presentation, and interaction flow that negatively affect user performance. The result, study proposes data-driven UI design improvements aimed at enhancing clarity, efficiency, and cognitive ergonomics. The novelty is its integration of online usability testing with ergonomic evaluation in the delivery application domain, an area that remains underrepresented in recent human–computer interaction research. The outcomes provide scalable evaluation benchmarks and practical design guidance to support the development of more efficient, user-friendly, and ergonomically appropriate mobile delivery applications.

Abstract

Abstract— Low reading interest in Indonesia (0.001%) demands innovation in digital literacy applications like Bacana. However, Bacana's current interface remains conventional, potentially limiting user satisfaction. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Super Golden Ratio (ψ≈1.4656) and horizontal scrolling navigation to enhance aesthetics and user experience. The research method involved instrument testing with high reliability (Cronbach’s α>0.94) and linear regression analysis. The results indicate that all regression assumptions were met, showing no heteroscedasticity or autocorrelation, with a significant linear relationship (p<0.001). Empirical findings prove that the combination of the Super Golden Ratio and horizontal scrolling effectively improves readability, interaction smoothness, and user satisfaction. This study provides a strategic contribution to UI/UX development for literacy applications by utilizing mathematical ratios to achieve better visual harmony and navigational efficiency.

Abstract

Real-time violence detection systems need models that are efficient and can adapt to different environments. This study looks at the performance of the X3D-XS architecture and focuses on the issue of generalizing across various domains. The model was trained on three controlled source domains: AVD, HockeyFight, and MovieFight. The model's performance was then tested on the diverse Real-Life Violence Situations (RLVS) dataset. The experimental results show that X3D-XS is highly efficient, achieving inference speeds of up to 191 FPS, which makes it suitable for edge deployment. However, the model faces significant challenges due to domain shift; training on a single domain resulted in varying accuracy between 49.5% and 61.1% on real-world data. This indicates that staged and cinematic violence differ quite a bit from real-life situations. Importantly, combining different source domains improved the model's sensitivity, leading to a Recall of 94.28%. These findings demonstrate that while X3D offers the speed needed for real-time monitoring, relying solely on staged training data is not enough for real-world effectiveness, highlighting the essential need for data diversity in surveillance applications.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the use of a Telegram-based question-answering chatbot for accessing nutrition information using the UTAUT and TAM approaches to measure user intention and behavior. The system utilizes LangChain and Large Language Models (LLMs) to deliver rapid and precise nutrition-related replies. Validity and reliability assessments were performed to confirm that the measurement equipment exhibited optimal consistency, with Cronbach’s Alpha values surpassing 0.7. The multiple linear regression results demonstrate that Effort Expectancy (EE) and Social Relationship (SI) significantly affect Behavioral Intention (BI), whereas Performance Expectancy (PE), Perceived Usefulness (PU), and Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) exhibit no substantial relationship. The findings indicate that usability and social impact are more pivotal in enhancing users' propensity to use the chatbot than system utility and efficiency.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of communication and data storage technologies requires security systems capable of protecting sensitive information from cyber threats. Symmetric cryptography algorithms such as AES and Blowfish are widely used, although they exhibit different performance characteristics. This study compares both algorithms based on processing time, memory usage, and throughput on .txt, .pdf, and .zip files. The testing was conducted through a Python implementation using ECB and CTR modes. The results show that AES consistently outperforms Blowfish in terms of speed and throughput. For large files, AES using ECB mode reaches a throughput of 1128.42 MB/s, significantly higher than Blowfish using ECB mode at 92.26 MB/s, with faster encryption time as well, AES using ECB mode within 0.075 seconds while Blowfish using ECB mode within 0.928 seconds. The decryption process shows similar results, where AES using CTR mode achieves 546.70 MB/s, while Blowfish using CTR mode reaches only 81.59 MB/s. Overall, AES is more suitable for fast encryption-decryption on large-scale data processing, whereas Blowfish is more appropriate for small files or low-complexity applications.
