Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze student perceptions of the use of e-learning platforms in learning. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The sample in this research was 57 students from the information technology study program in 2020. The data collection technique in this research uses a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses simple and multiple regression analysis with the help of the Statistical Product for Servicer Solution (SPSS) 21 program. Based on research results from the questionnaire on convenience variables and usefulness variables, then it can be seen that the research results show that the t count is greater than the t table value, the t table value is 2.060 and the t count value is 10.663 for the convenience variable and 7.478 for the usefulness variable. So t count > t table and each independent variable has a significant value < 0.05. As for the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it was also found that the independent variables simultaneously had a positive effect on the dependent variable and were assessed as significant <0.05. This indicates that there is a positive influence of the convenience factor and the usefulness of using e-learning by students in participating in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries hit by COVID19 cases. Data shows that from January 2023 to May 2023, COVID19 cases are still sweeping Indonesia. Data on COVID19 cases in Indonesia on May 30, 2023 showed that 541 patients were confirmed positive with 8 deaths. The data shows that this COVID19 case still needs to be taken seriously and a solution is found. In this study, the authors developed a mathematical model of the spread of COVID19 cases. The mathematical modeling developed is a mathematical model of type SEIRS. In the SEIRS type mathematical model there are four populations including vulnerable population (S), latent population (E), infection population (I), and cured population (R). In the model, it is assumed that the cured population does not recover permanently, but can again suffer from COVID19 caused by other types of viruses. The purpose of developing a mathematical model of the SEIRS type is to determine the behavior of the population in the compartment diagram. Population behavior can be determined by simulating each population in the model. The simulation is performed when the value of the base reproduction number is less than zero and more than zero. Based on the simulations conducted showed that at the time of , the number of latent populations and infections decreased towards zero, while at the time of , latent population and infection still remained in the model so that the disease did not disappear.

Abstract

PT. Socfindo Kebun seunagan is a company engaged in the plantation and processing of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) into Crude Palm Oil (CPO). Fresh Fruit Bunches before processing, are first transported using a conveyor to be processed into oil (CPO) from a sterilizer. Based on the analysis of damage and failure that often occurs in scrapper conveyor parts, damage is hampered by the productivity of the company. The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes of failure and damage that occur on the scrapper conveyor by calculating the RPN (Risk Priority Number) value of each failure and damage that occurs to determine maintenance actions that need to be followed up. The results of the analysis showed that there were failures and potential damage to the scrapper conveyor, including the release of the scrapper conveyor chain connecting of 135 RPN, the wear of the scrapper conveyor chain of 40 RPN, and the rupture of the bearing of 56 RPN. Connecting the scrapper conveyor chain is more often damaged than other parts, so monitoring and repair are prioritized. Overall, the factors causing damage and failure are caused by lack of routine maintenance so that they are damaged.

Abstract

Information security related to computer use cannot be separated from cryptography. Hill cipher is an application of modulo arithmetic in cryptography. This cryptography technique uses a square matrix as the key used to carry out encryption and decryption. This cryptographic technique was created with the intention of being able to create ciphers (codes) that cannot be broken using frequency analysis techniques. Hill Cipher does not replace each of the same letters in the plaintext with other letters that are the same in the ciphertext because it uses matrix multiplication as a basis for encryption and decryption. Hill Cipher cryptography is a type of classic cryptography that uses a substitution method by providing random keys and the number is the same as the plaintext. The use of encryption and decryption using the Hill cipher algorithm is to help secure data so that it is not easily falsified or accessed by irresponsible people by changing the original image into a different form where the image is not easy to recognize. The encryption and decryption process was designed using the Java programming language using NetBeans 8.2 and the Hill Cipher algorithm to encrypt RGB digital images
