Abstract

Pulau Dua Nature Reserve (CA) is a conservation area and one of the Important Bird Areas (IBA), which is a habitat for various bird species. The condition of the habitat ecosystem in Pulau Dua CA is currently experiencing disturbances and damage so that biodiversity, including bird species, is disturbed. This research was conducted to determine the diversity of bird species in various habitats in Pulau Dua CA. The method used is a survey with Point Transect on the type of habitat for ponds, mangrove forests, and coastal areas. Based on the results obtained, 31 bird species from 18 families were observed that can be found in Pulau Dua CA. A total of 27 bird species are permanent residents and 4 birds are migrant species. The highest species diversity index (H ') value of the three habitat types was found in 2.62 ponds including the very good category (2.59

Abstract

Perairan Desa Kampung Baru merupakan salah satu perairan yang ada di Pulau Banda Kabupaten Maluku Tengah yang memiliki kekayaan biota laut yang sangat melimpah. Kondisi substrat di perairan ini adalah berkarang, berbatu dan berpasir yang dikelilingi oleh lamun. Pada pesisir pantai Desa Kampung Baru ini banyak terdapat biota-biota laut, di antaranya adalah crustace, gastropoda, bivalvia, echinodermata, teripang, bintang laut dan lain-lain. Bulu babi merupakan salah satu biota yang sangat penting karena masyarakat pada Desa Kampung Baru memanfaatkan gonadnya untuk dikonsumsi sehari-hari. Keberadaan bulu babi pada ekosistem terumbu karang memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keseimbangan ekologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas Bulu Babi (Echinoidea) di Pesisir Pantai Desa Kampung Baru Kabupaten Maluku Tengah perlu dilakukan sehingga keberadaan bulu babi dapat diketahui sehingga keseimbangan terpantau dengan baik.Metode yang digunakan adalah transek linier kuadrat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keakekaragaman spesies bulu babi di pesisir pantai Desa kampung Baru Pulau Banda Maluku tengah sebesar 0.815, termasuk kategori rendah. Nilai Dominasi sebesar 0.512 yang artinya ada kecenderungan spesies mendominas. Nilai kepadatan sebesar 0.065 dan nilai sebaran sebesar 0.277 yang termasuk kategori seragam. Abstract

This study provides insights into STEM practices that are integrated with project-based learning. We show that when investigations into student interest and active participation, there are opportunities to experience project-based learning. The sample in the study was 30 students of biology education who attended environmental science lectures. The data analysis was carried out qualitatively with descriptive analysis to see the dominance of learning arrangements, learning activities, and the products of each of these learning settings. Students work on projects using the STEM learning steps. The results show that students can work on projects well, and are able to publish their work on YouTube. Abstract

The process of composting inked waste paper can be done because inked waste paper contains organic material in the form of cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin and ash compounds. But unlike other organic materials inked used paper has undergone various chemical processes in its manufacture so it needs to be done soaking treatment in advance to reduce the content of various chemicals. In this case inked scrap paper is soaked with distilled water added with activated charcoal, corn cobs charcoal, PGPR and rumen liquid. The PGPR was then added to a phosphate buffer of pH 7 and incubated for 7 days at room temperature without exposure to sunlight. Rumen fluid is taken at the Jenu Slaughterhouse in Tuban Regency, this liquid is taken directly after the cow is slaughtered and put into a flask then phosphate buffer pH 7 is added and incubated for 7 days at room temperature and not exposed to sunlight. Provision of activated charcoal, corn cobs charcoal and PGPR can be done in the process of precomposting inked waste paper with a cow rumen liquid starter without causing pH and temperature fluctuations. Abstract

The gastropod community is an important component in the food chain in seagrass beds, where the gastropods are the detritus feeder. Research on the diversity of gastropods in seagrass habitat in the waters of Tayando Yamtel Village, Tam City, Tual District, was conducted in March-May 2018, using the quadrant linear transect method. The results of measurements of environmental parameters in Tayando Yamtel waters are: an average pH of 8.55; DO 6.59 µg / l; salinity 32.36 ‰; temperature of 29 ° C; TDS 24.7 mg / l; current velocity (0.42 m / sec) is classified as low current; and a depth of 1.5 m. Gastropod research results obtained 862 individuals consisting of 15 families and 30 species of gastropods, while for seagrass obtained 3 species namely Cymodocea rotundata, Cymodocea serrulata and Thalassia hemprichii. The highest value of composition and gastropod density at Station I was dominated by Psedeovertagus aluco species at 62.73% and 3.708 (ind / m2), while at Station II were 28.01% and 0.93 (ind / m2) and Station III were 38.46% and 0.15 (ind / m2) are dominated by Strombus gibberulus species. Based on the gastropod ecological index value, the index value of species diversity and harmony is included in the medium category and the index value of dominance is in the low category. Abstract

Negeri Suli di Teluk Baguala Kabupaten Maluku Tengah memiliki perairan dengan tipe substrat yang beragam yaitu berpasir, berlumpur dan berbatu (patahan karang mati) yang kaya organisme bentik. Salah satunya adalah gastropoda jenis Nerita sp. yang banyak dimanfaatkan oleh penduduk untuk kebutuhan pangan. Keberadaan gastropoda khususnya Nerita sp. perlu kita jaga dan lestarikan sehingga keanekaragaman dan kepadatan Nerita sp. dapat terjaga dan terpelihara dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis dan kepadatan Nerita sp. di perairan pantai negeri Suli teluk Baguala kabupaten Maluku Tengah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yaitu penelitian untuk mengungkapkan informasi tentang kepadatan Nerita sp. di perairan pantai negeri Suli Teluk Baguala kabupaten Maluku Tengah yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan angka dan penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2019. Berdasarkan deskripsi morfologi Nerita sp. dari negeri Suli termasuk dalam spesies Nerita chamaeleon. Jumlah keseluruhan Nerita chamaeleon yang ditemukan adalah 566 individu dengan nilai kepadatan 11,32 dan dikategorikan kepadatannya cukup. Perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjut tentang kandungan gizi dan pemanfaatannya oleh masyarakat negeri Suli. Kata Kunci: Kepadatan, Nerita sp., Negeri Suli.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Konteks sosial dan lingkungan sangat berpengaruh dalam pembentukan perilaku dan kebiasaan individu. Sekelompok anak memiliki kebiasaaan yang sama karena mereka adalah subjek dari tekanan lingkungan yang sama misalnya tetangga, peraturan sekolah, atau status sosial ekonomi. Masa remaja merupakan periode rentan untuk mengadopsi kebiasaan yang tidak sehat dan akan berpengaruh terhadap keterpaparan penyakit kronis dikehidupan nantinya. Tujuan Penelitian: Diketahuinya pengaruh intervensi teman sebaya dan penyediaan air minum dalam perubahan perilaku konsumsi soft drink pada remaja. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen faktorial dengan desain 2x2 yaitu 2 variabel bebas dengan 2 level perlakuan. Teknik Sampling menggunakan Randomized Sampling, instrumen penelitian kuesioner, analisa data menggunakan Uji Kruskall Wallis, Pos Hoc Kruskall Wallis dan Uji Friedman. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Bone dengan 99 responden berusia 13-15 tahun Hasil: Intervensi teman sebaya tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap penurunan konsumsi soft drink namun berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan jumlah konsumsi air. Sedangkan intervensi penyediaan air minum berpengaruh terhadap penurunan konsumsi soft drink tetapi tidak meningkatkan konsumsi air minum. Intervensi teman sebaya dan penyediaan air minum berpengaruh dalam menurunkan konsumsi soft drink dan tidak berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan konsumsi air.Ketik abstrak bahasa Indonesia di sini. A group of children have the same habits because they are subject to the same environmental pressures such as neighbors, school rules, or socioeconomic status. Adolescence is vulnerable periode for adopting unhealthy habits and will affect the exposure to chronic disease in later life. Objective: To determine the effect of free drinking water and peer intervention in changes in consumption behavior of soft drinks in adolescents. Research Methods: This study is an experimental study which is factorial with 2x2 design that is 2 independent variable with 2 level of treatment. The research samples were selected using randomized sampling, the instruments used for this research were questionnaires, and the data collected were analyzed using Kruskall Wallis, Pos Hoc Kruskall Wallis and Friedman test. This Research was conducted in Bone District with 99 repondents age 13-15. Results: Peer interventions have no effect on the decline in soft drink consumption but are influential in increasing the amount of water consumption. However, free drinking water intervention has an effect on the decrease of soft drink consumption but does not affect the consumption of water. Peer plus free drinking water intervention have an effect on reducing the consumption of soft drinks but have no effect in improving water consumption. . Abstract

Pollinator insects is an animal that moves pollen from the male anther of a flower to the female stigma of a flower. The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of insects pollinators in the pineapple (Ananas comosus (L.) Merr.) plantation of Bincau Village, Martapura District, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan. Sampling was done by purposive sampling using a yellow sticky trap. The customer observations are made in visual control. Observation starts at 07.00-18.00 WITA which is divided into 3 time periods, namely: 07.00-10.00 WITA, 11.00-14.00 WITA and 15.00-18.00 WITA. The data obtained were analyzed using the diversity index Shannon-Wiener (H'). The results showed that the total individual of pollinator insects in pineapple plantations was 517 individuals, consisting of 4 order and 8 family. The highest abundance of insects is dominated by the Formicidae Family, while the lowest abundance is the Syrpidae Family. Value insect pollinator diversity found among the sites that H' = 1.760 which indicates that the level of diversity of insect pollinators on plantations Pineapple (Ananas comosus (L.) Merr.) in the Bincau Village, Martapura District, Banjar Region, South Kalimantan in the medium category.

Abstract

The waters of Kampung Baru Village are one of the waters in Banda Island, Central Maluku Regency, which has an abundance of marine life. The substrate conditions in these waters are rocky, rocky and sandy, surrounded by seagrass. On the coast of Kampung Baru Village, there are many marine biota, including crustaceans, gastropods, bivalves, echinoderms, sea cucumbers, starfish and others. Sea urchins are one of the most important biota because people in Kampung Baru Village use their gonads for daily consumption. The existence of sea urchins in coral reef ecosystems has a significant effect on the ecological balance. The purpose of this study was to determine the community structure of sea urchins in the coastal areas of Kampung Baru, Central Maluku Regency. It is necessary to do so so that the presence of sea urchins can be known so that the balance is well monitored. The method used is a quadratic linear transect. The results showed that the diversity of sea urchin species on the coast of the village of Kampung Baru, Banda Island, Central Maluku was 0.815, including the low category. The value of dominance is 0.512, which means there is a tendency for species to dominate. The density value is 0.065 and the distribution value is 0.277 which is included in the uniform category. Abstract

Bakpia kacang hijau merupakan salah satu pangan yang mudah terkontaminasi mikroba. Tingkat kontaminasi dapat diketahui dengan menghitung jumlah mikroba pada sampel, salah satunya dengan ALT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah mikroba pada bakpia kacang hijau dengan pemeriksaan ALT 1x104 koloni/gram sampel. Accidental sampling merupakan teknik sampling yang digunakan sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 30 sampel bakpia kacang hijau. Pemeriksaan ALT dilakukan dengan inkubasi secara aerob pada suhu 30°C selama 72 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 2 sampel bakpia kacang hijau yang tidak memenuhi standar nilai ALT 1x104 koloni/gram sampel. Hal tersebut dikarenakan proses pengolahan, penyimpanan, ataupun lingkungan eksternal (udara) yang menyebabkan terjadinya kontaminasi
