Abstract

Education is an effort to promote the growth of character, mind in one's body, where these parts are very important to advance the perfection of children's lives. The purpose of this study was to analyze whether students of science students carry out science practicum by applying the integration of Islamic values. The research method used in this design is descriptive qualitative. The character values obtained in the science practicum by students are discipline, independent, objective, thorough, responsible, helpful and tolerant. Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of teachers in maintaining Indonesian culture to shape the character of students at Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School. This research was conducted because seeing the current condition of many young people leaving Indonesian culture due to the swift currents of globalization. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with literature study techniques. The study conducted studies with journals and books on the formation of character and cultural values that were instilled in learning at the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School. The results of this study indicate that the teaching staff at the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School is very strong in maintaining Indonesian culture to shape the character of students through learning activities, extracurricular activities which include dance, traditional musical instruments and so on. There are several characters that are applied at the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School, including honesty, discipline, love of culture, and love of the country. With this activity, students at Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School do not lose their character as Indonesian citizens and can know and be able to preserve Indonesian culture in the international arena. Abstract

Learning evaluation is an important thing that must be considered by a teacher. This research was for find out how learning evaluation was carried out at SMKN 3 Cimahi and a form of reflection on the learning evaluation that had been implemented. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with interviews. From the research conducted by SMKN 3 Cimahi, evaluating learning by dividing the assessment into 2 types, that is theory and practice with a large of 30% for theory and 70% for practice. The implementation of learning reflection in SMKN 3 Cimahi applies additional material that is useful for the next subject because the learning objectives have been achieved. Abstract

This study aims to identify the completeness and accuracy of the contents of the 2013 curriculum science student textbooks on environmental pollution material in grade VII.  The method used in this research is a qualitative approach.  From the results of the analysis, it was found that the completeness of the contents of the 2013 curriculum science student textbook on environmental pollution material for grade VII was considered incomplete, this was due to the fact that there were still some sub-materials that had not been included.  As for the accuracy of the contents of the book, it can be said that it is quite in accordance with the indicators of KD achievement from KI-1, KI-2, KI-3 and KI-4.  This is evidenced by the suitability of the content of the book which is sufficient to meet the KD achievement indicators from KI.  Based on the results of the analysis, it can be said that the student textbook is feasible as teaching material but still requires improvement. Keywords: Student Textbooks, Completeness of Content, Accuracy of Content, Teaching Materials, 2013 Curriculum

Abstract

Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) has practical challenges, frequently linked to a restricted concept of sustainable literacy. This study investigates the effect of COVID-19 on sustainability literate views and practices using an educational symposium that detects changes in attitudes and practices of sustainability. This research investigates how disruption of pandemics might influence people and organizations. By comparing past global environmental restructuring plans with personal, professional and societal developments. Conceptions on sustainability and practice have modified the influence of COVID 19 on learning. Abstract

There is no relevance of the direct regional head election system to democracy in the perspective of the Pancasila philosophy. This is the conclusion of the study, measuring the level of relevance of the direct election system for regional heads with democracy in the perspective of the Pancasila philosophy. A reflection of Pancasila education learning in universities. The study analyzed as many as 763 students as respondents who were taking Pancasila Education courses. Analysis of the research ambiguity occurs, the implementation of the regional head election directly received the support of the wider community. However, the philosophy of Pancasila is not inherent in the existence of the essence of the values and norms of Pancasila, the fourth principle of Pancasila "Democracy Led by Wisdom  in Representative Deliberations" is philosophically relevant to indirect regional head elections (representative democracy). The negative impact can damage the nation's morale, because money politics often occurs during campaigns, the intention to return capital instantly, so that regional heads are prone to being entangled in corruption, and acts of anarchy often occur as a reaction to disappointment and dissatisfaction. It is recommended that if the democracy of direct regional head elections is still carried out, it is necessary to educate the public's political intelligence and strict law enforcement to handle cases of violations. Keywords: Pilkadasung, democracy, Pancasila philosophy

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to determine the effectiveness of verbal and table multi- representation learning for 5th semester physics students on the characteristics of electromagnetic waves. The background of this article is that there are many physics students who have low verbal and table multirepresentation abilities, so this research needs to be done in order to find out the multi-presentation ability of physics students which can be seen from the results of their answers when solving problems on the characteristics of electromagnetic waves. The data collection process is carried out with a survey method of knowledge tests using a questionnaire on the google form application. The method used is a quantitative method, namely by collecting data, then analyzing it. The population of this study were 50 physics education students while the sample was fifth semester students who were studying the characteristics of electromagnetic waves. With the data collection method above, the results obtained are the results of the multi-representation in the form of a table which is higher than the multi-representation in the form of a verbal. Therefore, this multi-representation learning strategy in the form of a table can be a solution to increase student knowledge on the material characteristics of electromagnetic waves.Key words: multipresentation, learning, electromagnetic waves

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi masih rendahnya keterampilan sosial siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe quiz team. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dimana peneliti berkerjasama dengan guru kelas sebagai observer. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III sebanyak 24 siswa terdiri dari 9 siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah non tes yaitu observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil angket sebagai data primer sedangkan observasi dan dokumentasi sebagai data pendukung. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menganalisis hasil tes terakhir setiap siklus dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif untuk hasil observasi setiap siklus. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe quiz team dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan ada peningkatan nilai dari sebelum pemberian tindakan hingga siklus II. Nilai presentase siswa yang diperoleh sebelum pemberian tindakan pada observasi adalah 70% keterampilan sosialnya kurang sedangkan hanya 30% siswa yang mencapai kategori baik. Pada hasil angket pada siklus I, 71,70% dan pada siklus II meningkat mencapai 78,80%. Sedangkan pada siklus I dalam hasil observasi, keterampilan sosial siswa mencapai 62,50%, dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 92,70%. Kesimpulan, penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe quiz team dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial pada pembelajaran IPS.Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe quiz team, keterampialn sosial, pembelajaran IPS

Abstract

AbstractEducation is one of the main keys to building and shaping the quality of the character of citizens. The purpose of this study is the researcher wants to identify what good characters are shown by the students of SD Duri Kepa 03 and describe the application of character education in SDN Duri Kepa 03. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method, so the results of this study are: 1) Character value that is applied and demonstrated that is religious, caring for the environment, responsibility, honesty and tolerance. 2) Application and concept of character education in Duri Kepa 03 Elementary School through habituation. 3). Strategies used by teachers in the application of character education such as always reminding students of good things, giving reprimands, giving examples or being role models, routine activities or habituation, and fostering student awareness. 4) Obstacles in the implementation of character education at SD Duri Kepa 03 are factors of teachers, parents, environment, and students.  Keywords:Character value, teacher strategy, inhibiting factors AbstrakPendidikan menjadi salah satu kunci utama membangun dan membentuk kualitas karakter warga negara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah peneliti ingin mengidentifikasi karakter baik apa saja yang ditunjukan siswa SDN Duri Kepa 03 dan mendeskripsikan penerapan pendidikan karakter di SDN Duri Kepa 03. Metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, sehingga hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Nilai karakter yang diterapkan dan ditunjukan yaitu religius, peduli lingkungan, tanggung jawab, jujur, dan toleransi. 2) Penerapan dan konsep pendidikan karakter di SDN Duri Kepa 03 melalui pembiasaan. 3).Strategi yang digunakan guru dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter seperti selalu mengingatkan siswa akan hal baik, memberikan teguran, memberikan contoh atau menjadi teladan, kegiatan rutin atau pembiasaan, dan menumbuhkan kesadaran siswa. 4) Hambatan dalam penerpan pendidikan karakter di SDN Duri Kepa 03 adalah faktor guru, orang tua, lingkungan, dan siswa. Kata kunci:Nilai karakter, strategi guru, faktor penghambat
