Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interest in learning on the ability to read English Vocational High School students in Depok. The method used was a survey method with a total sample of 40 students taken by random sampling technique from three private vocational schools in Depok. Learning interest data collection uses a questionnaire in the form of a rating scale, while the ability to read English students is presented in the form of a written test with multiple choice questions. Both test instruments are first validated. Data analysis uses two-way analysis of variance (ANAVA) by first testing the normality and homogeneity tests. The results of the study there is a significant influence of interest in learning on the ability to read English students proven by the value of ρ value = 0.024 <0.05. In conclusion, student interest in learning has a significant effect on English reading ability. keywords; English, reading ability, interest in learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between cognitive style and achievement motivation style with the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) students of SMP 5 Rejang Lebong. The research method uses survey methods with a correlational engineering approach. The research data were sourced from cognitive style test results and achievement motivation tests and PAI learning outcomes obtained from report cards. The results showed there was no significant relationship between cognitive style with PAI learning outcomes with ρ-value 0.122. There is a significant relationship between achievement motivation and PAI learning outcomes with ρ-value 0.022. Cognitive style and achievement motivation are related to PAI learning outcomes ρ value = 0.031> 0.05. Conclusion, there is no significant relationship between cognitive style with PAI learning outcomes. There is a significant relationship between achievement motivation and PAI learning outcomes. Cognitive style and achievement motivation are jointly related to the learning outcomes of PAI students of Rejang Lebong Middle School. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and describe the implementation of Pancasila values ​​with the Contextual Teaching Learning approach as an effort to grow the character of STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau students. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were the fourth semester students of the PJKR Study Program. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and observations. Data analysis in this research was in the form of descriptive analysis. The results of the study, the careful character as the implementation of Pancasila values ​​in students through the CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning) approach is good, this can be seen from the criteria of character implementation in the range of 61-80%, the careful character has been implemented 70.31%. For creative characters is good enough, seen from the implementation criteria in the range of 41% -60%. The creative character has been implemented at 62.5%. Meanwhile the character of hard work is good, judging by the implementation criteria in the range of 61% -80%. The character of hard work has been implemented 62.5%. Then the character of curiosity in the range of 61% -80% is categorized as good, from the observation results have been implemented 70.31% by students. In conclusion, the implementation of Pancasila values ​​in STKIP PGRI students using the CTL (Contextual Teaching Learning) approach to grow student character has been well seen from various indicators that exist on various characters. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to formulate the management of distance learning that sets students apart and their implications for the services that educational institutions must perform. The study was conducted using the literature review method using the content analysis method. Literature review method that uses various references such as books, research journals, and distance learning management modules that are applied to educational institutions. The results of the research indicate that the implementation of distance learning must be managed systematically starting from the preparation of the syllabus of the material, the selection of learning activities, and learning strategies. formulate the structure of the material and choose relevant activities, while the assignments given must consider the burden, time, and ability of students. Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause low motivation to learn IAIN Curup students, especially in the fourth semester Islamic Education Study Program. The method used in this paper is a qualitative method, data collected from observations, documentation and interviews with 30 respondents . The results of the study found 3 important parts that affect student interest in learning, namely the preparation and planning of learning by students and lecturers; secondly the evaluation of lecture implementation and thirdly the lecture obstacles experienced by students. There are several factors that cause students to have low motivation to learn, namely: 1) economic factors, which cause a lack of concentration in learning, because they require them to work while in college, 2) alumni absorption factors in low employment, making students doubt the future after becoming undergraduate, 3) the educational background factors of the majority of students from public schools, causing difficulties in attending Islamic-based courses. Conclusions, It needs careful planning in preparing the curriculum, Implementation of the curriculum is really done, Need to increase student motivation, evaluation and assessment of students is really carried out according to existing provisions, Obstacles experienced in each implementation of the task is not something to be avoided but he was demanded to find a solution so that the next process is not hampered. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in learning outcomes of science material special characteristics of living animals using jigsaw learning methods in grade VI students of SD Negeri 06 Sialang, Kapur IX District, Lima Puluh Kota District. This research is an experimental research in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the subjects in this study being class VI students totaling 24 students. Data collection techniques in this study are; (1) observation of teacher activity, (2) observation of student activity, and (3) test of learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study found an increase in the average value of the class of research subjects rose from the pre-cycle average value of 74.16, cycle I 79.58 to 87.08 in cycle II and PTK was considered successful. Conclusions, based on the results of the study, the jigsaw method can improve science learning achievement in grade VI students with special characteristics of animal living things in SD Negeri 06 Sialang, Kapur IX District, Lima Puluh Kota. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the role of PAI teachers in instilling Islamic values ​​in Wasatiyah in SMP N 31 Rejang Lebong, then to find out what factors influence the planting of Islamic values ​​in Wasatiyah. This type of research is field research using a qualitative approach, the data sources are Islamic religious education teachers, principals and students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed, there are 3 components of the role of PAI teachers in instilling the values ​​of Islam Wasatiyah namely; First, in instilling the values ​​of Islam Wasatiyah the teacher acts as a motivator, administrator and evaluator; The two supporting factors in instilling Wasatiyah Islamic values ​​in students are the participation and role of parents in guiding their children by instilling Islamic wasatiyah values ​​and technological advances in obtaining information; Third, inhibiting the role of PAI teachers in instilling the values ​​of wasatiyah Islam, among others, is not wise of students to choose content that is useful in utilizing the technology provided, such as improper use of the internet. In conclusion, the role of PAI teachers in instilling the value of Islamic Watasyah is as a motivator, as an administrator and as an evaluator, which is also influenced by the role of parents and the use of information that is growing rapidly among students. Abstract

This study aims to explore and find out the strategies of village religious teachers in improving the ability to read the Koran of Turan Baru villagers especially those aged 40 years and older. By using descriptive qualitative writing methods, data obtained using interviews and observations. The informants in this study were religious teachers and students studying the Koran in the village of Turan Baru. The results of the study obtained information that there are several strategies implemented by the Turan Baru Village Religion Teachers to improve the students' ability to read the Qur'an, namely; routine recitation; strategies for listening and correcting santri readings during recitation; motivate students in learning to read the Qur'an. The listening strategy used by village religious teachers is still quite effective in improving the ability to read Al-Qur'an of pilgrims who are above the age of 40 years and above, because when there is an error the teacher can immediately correct the mistakes of the congregation. Conclusions, methods and listening strategies in reading the Qur'an in the village of Turan Baru is one way to improve the ability to read the Qur'an, this strategy also increases the enthusiasm of learning of the congregation, which will eventually bring the congregation the better in reading the Qur'an with the correct reading rules. Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of teachers in instilling religious education to children with autism or children with special needs, education for children with special needs is not the same as other normal children's education here the role of the teacher is very important in conveying material to be given to students. This research is a type of library research using the approach of Islamic religious education. The results showed that the morals of students included a very important and major element in the process of Islamic education, in this case the role of Islamic religious education teachers was very important in shaping the character of autistic children so that they could play a role as a pointer, controller, directing the behavior and actions of students. Moral development must be supported with comprehensive Islamic knowledge, faith and at the same time true faith so that it can develop the basic potential of humans to be kind, think well and behave well. Conclusion, Islamic education teachers have an important role in directing and guiding the morals of autistic children, moral development in autistic children is also one step to educate autistic children so that they can develop according to their age. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how to memorize the Al Qur'an students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang, and to determine the effect of memorizing the Qur'an on learning achievement in Arabic. This type of research is field research (Field Research) using a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that the first, Al-Qur'an memorization of XII grade students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang School, from the calculation of the average value of Variable X (Al-Qur'an Recitation) was 23.33 then it was included in the Very Good category. Secondly, the influence between memorization of Al-Qur'an with Arabic learning achievement from the calculation obtained by rxy Correlation Coefficient is 0.405 from the value of r table that is 0.330 at a significant level of 1% or 0.254 at a significant level of 5%, can be accepted and applied. Conclusion, memorization of Al-Qur'an The XII grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang are included in the very good category and there is a very statistically significant effect on memorizing the Qur'an with the achievement of learning Arabic.
