<![CDATA[Harmonious living in a diverse society presents complex challenges due to the potential for significant conflict. Radicalism, intolerance, and social conflict often occur, especially concerning religious pluralism. Educational institutions, which are expected to build the nation's character, are also prone to religion's education labeling. Hence, Christian religious education had two choices: strengthen dogmatic teaching or embrace inclusive values. This research focuses on the importance of inclusive values as the foundation for Christian Religious Education. Through descriptive analysis of various literature, this study discusses the theological basis for inclusive values in the context of the Church and its implications for Christian religious education. The research results show that the value of inclusion is based on the reflection of the incarnation and the example of encountering dialogue, which forms the foundation for inclusive Christian Religious Education.]]>

<![CDATA[This article raises the issue of eating, which is rarely discussed theologically, while the issue of eating has been widely discussed in various other disciplines. This article aims to construct a theology of eating through the lens of Trinitarian theology of eating. Using the doctrine of the Trinity as a lens to re-understand the theological meaning of eating, I argue that the theological meaning of eating is a means of nurturing, communion, and hospitality. This article uses a constructive theology method with a qualitative approach that examines various kinds of literature that discuss the doctrine of the Trinity and eating and the relationship between the two variables to construct a Trinitarian theology of eating. The results of this study indicate that the meaning of eating should not be reduced to merely satisfying hunger because eating is a means through which God nurtures human life and establish communion and hospitality between individuals and even with God himself. AbstrakArtikel ini mengangkat masalah makan yang jarang dibahas secara teologis, sedangkan masalah makan telah banyak dibahas di berbagai disiplin ilmu yang lain. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mengkonstruksi sebuah teologi makan dengan lensa teologi makan Trinitarian. Dengan menggunakan doktrin Trinitas sebagai lensa untuk memahami kembali makna makan secara teologis, saya berargumen bahwa makna teologis dari makan adalah sebagai sarana pengasuhan, persekutuan, dan keramahtamahan. Artikel ini menggunakan metode berteologi konstruktif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang mengkaji berbagai literatur yang membahas tentang doktrin Trinitas dan makan, dan juga hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut dalam rangka mengkonstruksi sebuah teologi makan Trinitarian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa makna makan tidak boleh direduksi sekadar memuaskan rasa lapar karena makan adalah sarana yang melaluinya Allah mengasuh kehidupan manusia, dan menjalin persekutuan serta keramahan antar pribadi dan bahkan dengan Allah sendiri.]]>

<![CDATA[Globalization in this communication and information technology era has brought many challenges and new needs, including in the field of church pastoral care. Church leaders must deal with a congregation that is highly diverse and comes from various cultural backgrounds. This means that models of service and pastoral care must be designed so that the proclamation of the Good News can effectively reach the people of God. In the past decade, one attribute variable that has been proven effective as a medium for enhancing service performance is cultural intelligence. This study aims to examine the contribution of cultural intelligence to pastoral management in the context of a multicultural world. The method used is a systematic literature review of various literature on cultural intelligence. The results of the study show that cultural intelligence has a significant contribution to pastoral care. Innovative and practical pastoral design should consider the multicultural aspects of the people of God by utilizing specific theological models/paradigms. Effective pastoral strategies include management, organization, and delivery strategies. AbstrakGlobalisasi di era teknologi komunikasi dan informasi abad ini telah membawa banyak tantangan dan kebutuhan baru termasuk dalam bidang pastoral atau penggembalaan gereja. Para pemimpin jemaat harus berurusan dengan umat yang sudah sangat terbuka dan berasal dari berbagai latar belakang budaya. Ini berarti model pelayanan dan penggembalaan harus dirancang sedemikian rupa sehingga pewartaan Kabar Baik dapat menjangkau umat Allah secara efektif. Dalam satu dasawarsa terakhir, salah satu variabel atribut yang terbukti efektif dalam sebagai medium untuk meningkatkan kinerja layanan adalah kecerdasan kultural. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sumbangan kecerdasan kultural terhadap manajemen pastoral dalam konteks dunia yang multikultur. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur sistematik terhadap berbagai literatur tentang kecerdasan kultural. Hasil kajian memperlihatkan bahwa kecerdasan kultural memiliki kontribusi yang penting bagi pelayanan pastoral. Desain pastoral yang inovatif dan berdaya guna hendaknya mempertimbangkan aspek-aspek umat Allah yang multikultur dengan memanfaatkan model/paradigma teologis tertentu. Strategi pastoral yang efektif mencakup strategi pengelolaan, pengorganisasian dan penyampaian.]]>

<![CDATA[The phenomenon of apostasy in the digital disruption era presents unprecedented challenges for pastoral ministry, particularly within family contexts. This research proposes a digital-based family pastoral model as an innovative response to contemporary apostasy phenomena. Through qualitative theological research methodology, this study examines the intersection between digital technology and pastoral care in strengthening family faith resilience. The proposed model integrates traditional pastoral principles with digital platforms, creating accessible and relevant ministry approaches. Key findings suggest that digital-based family pastoral care can effectively address apostasy risks through enhanced communication, continuous spiritual guidance, and community building. This model offers theological institutions and churches a practical framework for implementing technology-enhanced pastoral care. The research contributes to contemporary pastoral theology by demonstrating how digital tools can revitalize traditional ministry practices while maintaining theological integrity and effectiveness in addressing modern faith challenges. Abstrak Fenomena pemurtadan di era disrupsi digital menghadirkan tantangan yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya bagi pelayanan pastoral, khususnya dalam konteks keluarga. Penelitian ini mengusulkan model pastoral keluarga berbasis digital sebagai respons inovatif terhadap fenomena pemurtadan kontemporer. Melalui metodologi penelitian teologis kualitatif, studi ini mengkaji persinggungan antara teknologi digital dan perawatan pastoral dalam memperkuat ketahanan iman keluarga. Model yang diusulkan mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip pastoral tradisional dengan platform digital, menciptakan pendekatan pelayanan yang aksesibel dan relevan. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa pastoral keluarga berbasis digital dapat secara efektif mengatasi risiko pemurtadan melalui peningkatan komunikasi, bimbingan spiritual berkelanjutan, dan pembangunan komunitas. Model ini menawarkan kerangka praktis bagi institusi teologis dan gereja untuk mengimplementasikan perawatan pastoral yang ditingkatkan teknologi. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada teologi pastoral kontemporer dengan mendemonstrasikan bagaimana alat digital dapat merevitalisasi praktik pelayanan tradisional sambil mempertahankan integritas dan efektivitas teologis dalam mengatasi tantangan iman modern.]]>

<![CDATA[Having a different world in virtual reality is nothing new. However, the rapid development of such a world, often known as the metaverse, has caught many peoples’ attention, including believers. Even in its earliest stage of development, the metaverse has already attracted many interested stakeholders and investors as it promises to open up many possibilities and offers many other opportunities. Of course, it does not come without any negative aspects. Yet, like any previous technological advancements, one should assess its weight to determine the appropriate response. This paper addresses whether the metaverse should be seen as a threat or an opportunity, especially by the church. The authors hope that this writing will help the church realize this coming world in the near future and prepare as soon as possible to anticipate this revolutionary disruption. Hopefully, The church can provide spiritual care for the “real†people behind and within this virtual reality. AbstrakKonsep tentang adanya dunia virtual bukanlah suatu hal baru. Kini, perkembangan yang pesat dari terwujudnya dunia virtual tersebut, yang sering dikenal dengan sebutan metaverse, telah menarik perhatian banyak orang termasuk orang percaya. Bahkan pada tahap awal pengembangannya, metaverse telah menarik banyak stakeholder dan investor karena janji akan banyaknya peluang dan kemungkinan lain yang terbuka. Tentu saja itu dunia ini tidak datang tanpa aspek negatifnya. Namun, seperti kemajuan teknologi sebelumnya, seseorang harus terlebih dahulu menilai bobotnya untuk menentukan respons yang tepat. Penelitian ini mencoba menjawab pertanyaan apakah metaverse perlu dilihat sebagai ancaman atau peluang khususnya oleh gereja Tuhan. Penulis berharap penelitian ini pada akhirnya akan menyadarkan gereja akan datangnya metaverse dalam waktu dekat sehingga dapat melakukan persiapan sebaik mungkin untuk mengantisipasi disrupsi revolusioner ini. Gereja diharapkan dapat memberikan pelayanan spiritual yang diperlukan oleh orang-orang "nyata" yang ada di belakang dan di dalam realitas virtual ini.]]>

<![CDATA[Christian education must recognize the rich local cultural heritage and educational values in the increasingly developing digital culture. This article offers a model of humanistic Christian education through the foster child system. The foster child system is an educational practice in Minahasa in the 19th century that shows two essential values: a holistic educational model and a transforma-tive Christian education. This qualitative research uses descriptive and historical reconstruction methods with a chronological approach, such as outlining cultu-ral encounters through literature in books and related journal articles. As a result, the cultural heritage of the foster child contributes to the construction of holistic and transformative Christian education, so it can guide the use of technology that leads to humanity. AbstrakPendidikan kristiani, di tengah semakin berkembangnya budaya digital, tidak boleh mengabaikan warisan budaya lokal yang sarat dengan nilai-nilai edukatif. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menawarkan sebuah model pendidikan kristiani yang humanis melalui sistem anak piara. Sistem anak piara merupakan sebuah praktik pendidikan di Minahasa pada abad ke-19 yang menunjukkan dua nilai penting, yakni model pendidikan dan cara berpengetahuan yang holistik serta pendidikan kristiani yang transformatif. Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif yang menggunakan metode deskriptif dan rekonstruksi historis, dengan pende-katan kronologis, seperti menguraikan perjumpaan budaya, melalui penggu-naan literatur dalam bentuk buku maupun artikel jurnal terkait. Hasilnya, warisan budaya anak piara berkontribusi pada konstruksi pendidikan kristiani yang holistik dan transformatif, sehingga dapat mengawal penggunaan tekno-logi yang bermuara pada kemanusiaan.]]>

<![CDATA[Parenting in the family is an important factor in shaping adolescent character and adolescent spirituality. The family is a place where adolescents develop their character and spirituality, parenting provided by parents will have a significant impact on the character and spirituality of adolescents in loving God. The research method uses a quantitative approach to the type of Ex post facto research. The results showed (1) there was an influence of parenting style on adolescent spirituality, having a sig value of 0.01 with a Pearson Correlation value of -0.453. (2) there is an influence of adolescent character on adolescent spirituality, having a sig value of 0.048]]>

<![CDATA[The digital revolution has ushered global society into the era of Society 5.0, with all its positive and negative consequences. This revolution has also brought forth homo digitalis as the controller, who simultaneously has the potential to manage the digital space better. This article uses recommendations from the research of Budi Hardiman and Wiwin Hendriani to offer a construction of Christian education that functions to moralize homo digitalis in building digital resilience. Using a constructive descriptive analysis method, it is shown that the essence of Christian education can function morally. The conclusion is that the internalization of Christian education values provides moral strength that shapes the resilience of Christian homo digitalis. This is very important because, in this way, Christian homo digitalis can manage the digital space more morally, thereby minimizing the negative consequences of this digital era. AbstrakRevolusi digital telah mengantar masyarakat dunia memasuki era society 5.0, dengan segala konsekuensinya, baik positif dan negatif. Revolusi ini pun telah menghadirkan para homo digitalis sebagai pemegang kendali yang sekaligus berpotensi untuk menata ruang digital secara lebih baik. Artikel ini menggunakan rekomendasi dari hasil penelitian Budi Hardiman dan Wiwin Hendriani untuk menawarkan sebuah konstruksi pendidikan kristiani yang berfungsi memoralisasi homo digitalis dalam membentuk resiliensi digital. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif konstruktif diperlihatkan bahwa hakikat pendidikan kristiani dapat berfungsi secara moral. Kesimpulan-nya, internalisasi nilai pendidikan kristiani memberikan kekuatan moral yang membentuk resiliensi para homo digitalis kristiani. Hal ini sangat penting, karena dengan demikian homo digitalis kristiani dapat menata ruang digital lebih bermoral, sehingga meminimalisir konsekuensi negatif dari era digital ini.]]>

<![CDATA[Pentecostal and healing practices could not be separated in Pentecostal Theology because healing practices are the most phenomenal practice in the Pentecostal tradition. This practice is essential regarding the phenomenal growth of Pentecostal Churches worldwide. Especially in the context of Pentecostal churches in Indonesia, I will describe how the Pentecostal churches grew so fast that the healing revival impacted them. I will give my analytical critics of this phenomenon through the discussion with the works of literature available and bring my suggestion and contribution to Pentecostal Theology regarding the vital doctrine of Pentecostal, which is the healing practices.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper studies John 4: 1-26 in a post-structuralist hermeneutical perspective. Hermeneutics is the art of understanding, namely understanding a text, aiming to reveal the meaning contained in the text. In this case, what is meant is a post-structuralist hermeneutics which assumes that the meaning of a text lies not behind the text but in front of it. With this assumption, the meaning is beyond the author's interests, thus opening up the possibility for the polysemy of meaning found by the reader today. Four successive contextual concerns that can be examined hermeneutically in the narrative of John 4:1-26 are the context of injustice, poverty, radicalism, and ecological damage. These four context challenges are also the challenges facing the churches in Indonesia, which they grapple with in the 16th Session of the Communion of Churches in Indonesia (CCI) in Nias and the 17th in Sumba. The results of the hermeneutics study arrived at the praxis of the holistic liberation of Jesus to overcome these four challenges. They can be used as a praxis for the holistic ministry of the churches today. AbstrakTulisan ini adalah sebuah kajian atas Yohanes 4:1-26 dengan perspektif hermeneutik post-strukturalis. Hermeneutik adalah sebuah seni memahami, yaitu memahami teks, yang tujuannya untuk mengungkap makna yang terdapat di dalam teks. Hermeneutik yang dimaksud adalah hermeneutik post-strukturalis yang basisnya bahwa makna teks tidak terletak di belakang teks melainkan di depannya. Karena makna ada di depan teks, maka makna melampaui kepentingan pengarang, yang berarti membuka kemungkinan bagi polisemi makna yang ditemukan oleh pembaca masa kini. Secara berturut-turut empat keprihatinan kontekstual yang dapat ditelaah secara hermeneutis ke atas narasi Yohanes 4:1-26 adalah konteks ketidakadilan, kemiskinan, radikalisme dan kerusakan ekologi. Keempat tantangan konteks ini juga menjadi tantangan gereja-gereja di Indonesia seperti yang digumuli dalam Sidang Raya Persekutuan Gereja-gereja di Indonesia (PGI) XVI di Nias dan XVII di Sumba. Hasil kajian secara hermeneutis menibakan pada praksis pembebasan Yesus yang holistik, untuk mengatasi keempat tantangan konteks tersebut dan dapat dijadikan praksis pelayanan holistik gereja-gereja di hari ini.]]>
