The background to this research is that there is a contradiction in the findings of the relationship between self-control and online game addiction in previous research. Apart from that, research is rarely conducted on adolescents because previous findings focused more on adults. This research aims to determine whether there is a negative and significant relationship between self-control and online game addiction in adolescents. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this research are adolescent online game players. In this study, a sample size of 101 teenage respondents was used. The data collection technique for this research was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this research uses descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, and interventional analysis using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The research results show that there is a significant negative relationship between self-control and online game addiction in adolescents. The result of the determinant coefficient (r2) in this study is (-0.473)2, meaning that self-control has an influence of 22.37%, and means that there are still 77.63% of other variables that impact online game addiction. Implications of this study are expected that adolescents can have good self-control so that when playing online games, they can control themselves so they don't become addicted to playing.

The rise in cases of bullying committed by students has a detrimental impact not only on the victims but also on the perpetrators. This impact is not only felt during the period when bullying behavior occurs but can continue until the perpetrator and victim enter adulthood. This bullying problem must be addressed in several ways, one of which is psychoeducation. This research aims to determine the effect of providing information about bullying on the emergence of empathy in class VI students at MIM Gonilan. The method used in this research is a quantitative experimental one-group pre-and post-test design. The sample in this study was 47 class VI students at MIM Gonilan. After being given the material, students were given a pre-test and post-test to determine the level of student empathy in cases of bullying. The results of the analysis show the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.004 <0.05, indicating a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. This shows the importance of providing bullying material and each student's empathy.

Besides completing final assignments, final-year students also have to start thinking about their careers after graduation. There are still many final-year students who are unsure about planning their future careers due to a lack of soft skills and hard skills, past failures, minimal experience, unclear job information, and lack of support from parents and the environment. If this continues, it can affect their self-confidence in deciding on the career they previously wanted. This research reviews the role of self-esteem and social support on career decision-making self-efficacy. This research was conducted using quantitative methods and a correlational design, involving 149 final-year students (21-25 years) as research participants. Data was collected using the accidental sampling technique through an online questionnaire survey. The variables self-esteem and social support influence CDMSE with a p-value below 0.05 and a contribution of 45.8%, thus indicating that the hypothesis is accepted.

Divorce or termination of the relationship between husband and wife is one of the conflicts that can occur in the family and impact children. Adolescents with divorced parents can experience various problems, such as loneliness and anxiety, so self-compassion and resilience are needed to be able to rise. This study aims to see the relationship between self-compassion and resilience in late adolescents with divorced parents. This research method is quantitative, using Spearman's rho test design with linearity. The participants of this study were 200 late adolescents with divorced parents, and the sampling technique used was snowball sampling. The research scale used is the Self Compassion Scale (SCS) and the Resilience Scale (RS). This study found that there was a significant positive relationship between self-compassion and resilience in late adolescents with divorced parents (r = 0.250 with a sig. value of 0.000). Thus, the results obtained show that self-compassion has a relationship with resilience. Therefore, it is hoped that late adolescents with divorced people can have an increase in self-compassion and resilience within themselves.

This research aims to build a practical and feasible guidance program for developing positive adolescent character. One approach to providing guidance is to use Sirah Nabawiyah learning materials, namely a pattern of guidance activities using meaning and contextualization of the life journey of the Prophet Muhammad, both before and after he was appointed a Prophet. This research contextualizes the Prophet Muhammad's teenage years. This research uses a quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental research design. This research shows that the average score of the experimental group who took part in Sirah Nabawiyah-based guidance is better than the average score of the control group who took conventional guidance/learning, so the conclusion obtained is that Sirah Nabawiyah-based guidance services are more effectively used to improve the positive character of adolescence. This Sirah Nabawiyah-based guidance program is recommended to be considered as one of the programs for carrying out learning and guidance activities, significantly improving positive character.

Phubbing is ignoring people who have interpersonal relationships by checking cell phones. Self-control is the ability to regulate one's behavior, emotions, and thoughts in achieving long-term goals or values. This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between self-control and phubbing behavior in male and female adolescents. This research used a quantitative approach with 337 participants, obtained using convenience sampling techniques. The data collection tools are the Self-control scale from Tangey, with 13 items, and the phubbing scale from Chotpitayasunondh and Douglas 2015, with 15 items. Data analysis uses Pearson's product-moment correlation technique. The results of the correlation test show r = 0.214 with a value of p = 0.000 (p<0.005), which means there is a reasonably strong relationship between self-control and phubbing and does not have a negative direction.

The current study aimed to identify the level of future optimism among students of the College of Education, specializing in Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and to determine the significance of differences based on specific demographic variables (gender, residence, marital status). Additionally, the study aimed to construct a psychological counseling program for the sample individuals. The research sample consisted of 39 male and female students selected purposively. The study employed descriptive and experimental methodologies, and SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) was used to analyze the data. The results indicated a low level of future optimism, with no significant differences observed in the sample attributed to demographic variables or the effectiveness of the psychological counseling program. Based on the findings, recommendations, and suggestions were presented after the study. The study highlights the importance of fostering future optimism among university students, particularly in physically demanding disciplines, to promote their overall well-being and resilience.

Emotion regulation is a person’s ability to recognize, manage, and evaluate a person’s emotions. Self-injury is an activity that takes out negative feelings within a person to hurt oneself. This research aims to find out whether there is a relationship between emotional regulation and the tendency to self-injury in adolescents in Sorong Regency. This research used a correlation quantitative approach with 15 students as subjects. The method for taking subjects used the snowball technique with the Pearson Product Moment data analysis technique. The data obtained was analyzed using statistics from the SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Science) for Windows Release version 25.0 program. Based on the result of the analysis, there is a significant negative relationship between emotional regulation and self-injury tendencies in Senior High School in the 2nd grade has a correlation coefficient value of (-0,718) with a substantial value of (sig.) 0.003 (p0.05), thus it can be concluded that the higher the emotional regulation, the lower the tendency to self-injury, and vice versa.

Undergraduate students should ideally focus on their academic achievements; however, it is currently expected to find undergraduates who work while attending college. Regardless of whether students work while attending college, students must have self-regulation in learning to follow the learning process effectively. This is because learning in the realm of higher education relies on students' independence. This research aims to determine the differences in self-regulation in learning between working and non-working undergraduate students. The research method used is quantitative comparative with the Independent sample t-test analysis method. In this study, 316 students, comprising 158 working students and 158 non-working students, participated in this research using convenience sampling. The scale used in this study is the Self-Regulation in Learning Scale (α = 0.901). This research found no significant difference in self-regulation in learning between working and non-working students, with a significance level of 0.275 (p > 0.05). This means that the hypothesis in this research is rejected. Working students have higher categories in motivation, behavior, and context aspects. Meanwhile, non-working students tend to score higher in the cognition aspect. The findings of this research also provide an overview that external conditions of students do not significantly affect self-regulation in learning.
