Abstract: The philosophical issues in Guidance and Counseling especially in epistemological discourse have made paradigmatic friction that pointed by some issues from therapeutic-clinical to comprehensive way with preventive development prespective approach. It was also caused by the wider friction where quantum physic has remove classic Newtonian one, then the influence has generally removed another disciplines, where Guidance and Counseling in one of them. Through the comprehensive paradigm, Guidance dan Counseling need to take prepare the expert in order to capable to develop integrated and comprehensive thinking awareness. It means the Guidance and Counseling holistic vision is urged. Through the holistic vision, all of the competency of student is noticed integrally, such as intellectual, emotional, social, physical, artistic, creativity, ecological awareness, and spiritual competencies.

The aim of this study is to uncover and gain some factual data about locus of control (LOC) ability to overcome depression in late adolescence. This study was conducted through survey methods on new under-graduate students aged 18 to 21 years old from English Education program in Mathla’ul Anwar University of Banten at first semester of academic year 2015-2016. The result of study showed that majority of the students has internal LOC. The sudents who have external LOC tend to get more depressed than those who pose internal LOC. The numbers of women who get depressed are more than men. The finding also showed positive influence of reading book in gaining capacity of LOC. Depression can be avoided and prevented by spiritual and mental strengthening, such as being closer to God, spending quality time with parents, siblings and friends, doing some new hobbies and activities, getting involved in fun daily activities, and trying to identify sense of fear of being rejected or guilty feelings.

One of family functions is to maintain relationship among generations, where the prior generation leaves the influence to the next generation. The family system built then become widespread, not only has two generations but unfold to many generation in building kinship system. The kinship system in Sundanese culture is known as Pancakaki. The individual and social function of pancakaki varies in each period, so that in historical period, society of Sundanese are able to keep values of Sundanese established by their own social system. Pancakaki not only strengthens cultural identity of ancestor heritage, but also as a means for preparing, maintaining and developing a collaboration relation among members based on their values. As an example of the implementation of the pancakaki, Bani Nuryayi kept strongly maintains tradition that was taught by Kyai Nuryayi. This inheritance is sustainable by using patron-client approach. Therefore, pancakaki becomes an effective education pattern for inheritance of cultural values and tradition to the next generation. The implication on Guidance and Counseling that Pancakaki system as an exclusive means of family as coordinate institution for school in order to support optimalitation of personality development and integrity of student identity.

The aims of this study was to find the ideal personal values of the counselor based on the isen mulang philosophy of the Dayak tribe. The research method used is qualitative where researchers act as key instruments, data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results of the study are that the isen mulang philosophy contains four main values, namely the value of struggle, the value of heroism, the value of sacrifice, and the value of spirit never giving up. The four elements of the isen mulang values are implemented by counselors in everyday life to form an ideal personal competence of the counselor.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan hakikat dari tujuan pendidikan menurut Al-Attas di dalam bukunya yang berujudul Islam dan Sekularisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka yang berusaha mengungkapkan fakta berdasarkan sudut pandang partisipan yang terdapat di dalam literatur tertulis. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan, bahwa tujuan pendidikan menurut Al-Attas adalah untuk membentuk manusia sebagai hamba Allah yang baik. Rumusan tujuan pendidikan menurut Al-Attas yang dijelaskannya pada sistem ta’dib relevan untuk menjawab tantangan zaman seperti degradasi moral yang dialami oleh generasi bangsa dewasa ini.

This research aims to build a practical and feasible guidance program for developing positive adolescent character. One approach to providing guidance is to use Sirah Nabawiyah learning materials, namely a pattern of guidance activities using meaning and contextualization of the life journey of the Prophet Muhammad, both before and after he was appointed a Prophet. This research contextualizes the Prophet Muhammad's teenage years. This research uses a quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental research design. This research shows that the average score of the experimental group who took part in Sirah Nabawiyah-based guidance is better than the average score of the control group who took conventional guidance/learning, so the conclusion obtained is that Sirah Nabawiyah-based guidance services are more effectively used to improve the positive character of adolescence. This Sirah Nabawiyah-based guidance program is recommended to be considered as one of the programs for carrying out learning and guidance activities, significantly improving positive character.

World life which is constantly changing rapidly requires the presence of realistic studies and views by paying attention to local wisdom. In the academic field, especially education today, which is characterized by decentralization and autonomy, it gives a pedagogical orientation to the trend of multiculturalism. The orientation of Indonesian education is directed at the nation's motto “Bhineka Tunggal Ika”, Unity in Diversity, meaning that the blueprint for Indonesian education must be based on a philosophical and cultural basis which guarantees that Indonesian people are dignified and sovereign who are not uprooted from their cultural roots as an Indonesian nation. Guidance and counseling as an integral part of education requires a strong philosophical foundation based on the abstraction of environmental and local cultural values. For guidance and counseling, the philosophical foundation provides directions for scientific development as general competence, code of ethics, and practice of guidance and counseling services. Directions are needed as a guide in facing such rapid and complex changes in life.

The design of the utilization of motorcycle wheel rotation for portable battery charging aims to make a device that can be used to charge batteries or gadgets by utilizing motorcycle wheel rotation. This tool works by using the rotation of a motorcycle's wheels into electric power for charging power bank or cell phone needs. This tool consists of 3 parts, namely dynamo, a rectifier circuit, and a regulator circuit. From testing the tools that have been made, it is proven that the device can work and produce an output voltage of 5V and a maximum current of 0.95A. The power produced is 4.75 Watt. This tool can charge a cell phone for 0-100% in 226 Minutes and charge a power bank for 50% for 131 Minutes. The recommended speed of the motorbike when charging is 30Km / h.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menguraikan agenda penanaman karakter melalui kegiatan morning meeting di MI Al-Muhajirien Jakapermai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif dihasilkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini berhasi menunjukkan dan menguraikan beberapa fakta. Pertama, penanaman karakter melalui kegiatan morning meeting di MI Al-Muhajirien Jakapermai berkesesuaian dengan teori-teori yang dikemukakan para ahli, yakni: (1) berdimensi moral dan sosial; dan (2) secara konstan mengakomodasi aspek pemikiran, perasaan, dan tindakan peserta didik. Kedua, berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi kegiatan morning meeting di MI Al-Muhajirien Jakapermai memiliki prospek yang jelas dalam upaya penanaman karakter peserta didik.

This study aims to explore the welfare and vulnerability of child laborers in urban slums in Cirebon City, a topic that has often been overlooked in previous studies. Using a narrative photovoice approach, six participants aged 10–17 years were involved as the main subjects to document their life experiences through photographs. Key findings indicate that child laborers face various multidimensional vulnerabilities, including physical health, psychosocial, economic, and educational challenges, exacerbated by inadequate living conditions, hazardous work, and limited educational access. On the other hand, they also demonstrate significant resilience and survival strategies. Data analysis based on triangulation of narratives, visual materials, and in-depth interviews reveals the need for a comprehensive approach to addressing this issue, including improvements in social policy, community empowerment, and increased public awareness. This study contributes to a new understanding of the subjective experiences of child laborers and its relevance in developing evidence-based policies. [Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi kesejahteraan dan kerentanan pekerja anak di kawasan kumuh perkotaan Kota Cirebon, suatu topik yang seringkali kurang dieksplorasi dalam penelitian sebelumnya. Melalui pendekatan naratif photovoice dengan melibatkan enam partisipan berusia 10-17 tahun sebagai subjek utama untuk mendokumentasikan pengalaman hidup mereka menggunakan foto. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa pekerja anak menghadapi berbagai kerentanan multidimensi, termasuk kesehatan fisik, psikososial, ekonomi, dan pendidikan, yang diperburuk oleh kondisi tempat tinggal tidak layak, pekerjaan berisiko, dan akses pendidikan yang terbatas. Di sisi lain, mereka juga menunjukkan ketahanan dan strategi bertahan hidup yang signifikan. Analisis data berbasis triangulasi narasi, visual, dan wawancara mendalam mengungkapkan perlunya pendekatan komprehensif untuk mengatasi masalah ini, mencakup perbaikan kebijakan sosial, pemberdayaan komunitas, dan peningkatan kesadaran publik. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman baru tentang pengalaman subjektif pekerja anak dan relevansinya dalam menyusun kebijakan berbasis bukti].
