Abstract

In general, the marriage is lived by a spouse who lives together and cooperates with each other to shape the family. Recently, many couples do not live together, but in a distant city, and are called a long-distance marriage or a commuter marriage. From many reasons that create the long distance marriage, one of which is the job. The aim of this study is to find out the condition of the marriage life in commuter marriage and the dynamics on perceived marital satisfaction. This research method uses the qualitative method. Subjects in this study are 3 pairs of husband and wife practicing commuter marriage, which has a minimum marriage age of 5 years and has at least one child. The research result has shown that wives tend to experience dissatisfaction in the marriage, while the husbands feel quite happy in the marriage.

Abstract

Teenager consider themselves based on the perception others and one of the element which affecting the maturation in self concept is how the assessment and social environment revenue toward it self .This study purpose to describe the self concept of teens and the implications in guidance and counseling .The research type descriptive quantitative methods. The Research was done to teenagers of simple  orphanage in  bengkulu with a population about 103 teenagers .The total of the  research about 82 survey youth to the sample used purposive sampling techniqul  instrument was used  the closed of  scale likert model  with validity 0.873 , reliability ( 0,931 self concept ) .The findings of this research shows that: ( 1 ) self concept as of teens tend to be low category. (2)  implications finding for service counseling guidance the basic of arranging the guidance counseling program service which can formed  and improved the self concept of teens positively.

Abstract

Abstract: Teachers are professional educators with the primary task of educating, teaching, guiding, familiarize, train, assess, and evaluate students in Early Childhood Education, formal education, primary education and secondary education. Teachers addition must have adequate educational qualifications, basic capabilities, competence, must also have a sense of responsibility. Guidance counseling is one of the functions of guidance services in schools in addition to the function of administrative services and service learning or teaching. Professionalism has an idea of a person who pursue jobs based on skills, abilities, techniques, and procedures based on intellectual. Conceptually performance of teachers includes three aspects, namely, (1) professional ability, (2) social skills, (3) the ability of personal (private). Academic Qualifications: Academic qualification is the minimum educational level must be evidenced by a diploma or certificate of membership to the relevant statutory provisions in force. Factors affecting performance among the counselors is a factor Qualifications Education, teacher competence and responsibility implementation of the tasks of the profession. These three factors have to be studied so that the performance of counselors in running the service function will be seen from how to discipline, ability to work, and work performance counselor.Keyword: Professionalism, Performance, Counselor.

Abstract

This study aims to examine a relationship between hope, religiosity, social support, resilience and subjective well being of 455 bidik misi students University Negeri Semarang.. The research method used was correlation with random sampling as sampling technique. The data was collected by 5 scale they are hope scales using the expectation scale for adult cognitive models from Snyder, social support scales using multidimensional scales of perceived social support, subjective scales using oxford happines inventory, resilience scales using resilience scales from Reivich and Sheite, whereas religiosity was measured using the scale of religiosity. To analyze the relationship, correlational product of moment parson is used. The results showed that the correlation between subjective well being and hope outcome was 0.155, the correlation between subjective wellbeing and religiosity was 0.148, correlation between subjective well being and social performance was 0.148, Correlation between subjective well being and resilience was 0.473, and there are simultaneous influence of hope, social support, religiosity and resilience, to subjective well-being. The conclusion of this study was hope, religiosity, social support, and resilience is a predictor of subjective well being.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the development of the Young Social and Emotional Self-concept and in terms of resilience in the PSAA Tunas Bangsa Pati. The method used is descriptive research with development studies dab types of data obtained will be analyzed by the cross sectional method. The results showed that the concept of self-possessed teenager PSAA is not good, it can be seen from the description of several indicators of self-concept which suggests that adolescents assessment of him is not good because many feel insecure and feel inferior. Viewed from the aspect of resilience, generally adolescents PSAA good enough. It can be seen from the emotion management capabilities of any events that are considered less fun in.

Abstract

Abstract: Many of the problems related to the implementation of guidance and counseling services. Variable allegedly linked to the issue of counseling services is the professional competence of teachers BK. This study aims to determine the relationship between the professional competence of teachers guidance and counseling to the implementation of guidance and counseling services in SMA as the city Metro. Correlational research approach. The population in this study are all guidance and counseling teacher in SMA as the city Metro and there are 17 teachers guidance and counseling. the total sample. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use Product Moment formula. With the results obtained with the 0.57 significance level of 5% = 0.514. The conclusion of this study were: 1) the professional competence of teachers guidance and counseling are in the high category, 2) the implementation of guidance and counseling services are in high category, 3) there is a relationship between the professional competence of teachers guidance and counseling to the implementation of guidance and counseling services.Keyword: professional competence, Guidance and Counseling Services.

Abstract

Goals to be achieved by the researchers, is to know the results of the implementation of the mastery content services in improving student achievement of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Metro in the academic year 2013/2014. The study design using action research applied in guidance and counseling services. Subjects in this study, researchers took student class VII SMP Negeri 2 Metro in the academic year 2013/2014. Of the 24 students there are 10 students who experienced low mathematics achievement 41.66%. Results from this study that through mastery of content services provided by BK teachers can improve student achievement class VII SMP Negeri 2 Metro. There is an increase in student achievement in the first cycle seen from the average percentage that is equal to 27.5% and the second cycle by 75%, resulting in an increase of 47.5%.Keywords:  mathematics achievement, mastery content services, smp negeri 2 metro

Abstract

Realita lapangan menunjukan bahwa siswa di Indonesia tidak memiliki kemauan dan keinginan belajar yang tinggi. Banyak siswa merasa “tidak bersemangat” di dalam kelas, tidak mampu memahami dengan baik pelajaran yang disampaikan oleh guru-guru mereka dan kurangnya guru pembimbing dalam memberikan layanan. Siswa masih menganggap kegiatan belajar tidak menyenangkan dan memilih kegiatan lain di luar kontek belajar. Rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa akan membuat mereka tertarik pada hal-hal yang negatif. Tugas guru pembimbing (BK) adalah membangkitkan motivasi anak sehingga ia mau melakukan serangkaian kegiatan belajar. Kegiatan untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa bukanlah hal mudah untuk dilakukan. Maka orang tua dan guru pembimbing (BK) perlu bekerja sama untuk  menumbuhkan motivasi belajar siswa.Kata kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Pelayanan Guru Pembimbing (BK), Orang Tua

Abstract

Nowadays, getting a job is very difficult, there is no guarantee for a graduate to get a job. One of the alternatives is to become an entrepreneur. To become an entrepreneur needs self-confidence, responsibility, decision making skill, perseverance and risk taking which are in accordance with the dimensions of sensation seeking i.e. thrill and adventure seeking, experience seeking, disinhibition, and boredom susceptibility. This study aimed to understand the sensation seeking and entrepreneurship of the fresh graduates in The University of Syiah Kuala. The samples were 120 fresh graduates who were selected with quota sampling technique. There were two instruments used, Brief Sensation Seeking adaptation Scale (BSSS-8) by Hoyle et al (2002) consisting of 8 items and an Entrepreneurship Scale based on Koh’s theory (1996) consisting of 24 items. Data analysis result using Pearson correlation technique showed a correlation coefficient of (r) 0,714 with p value = 0,000 (p < 0,05). The proposed hypothesis was confirmed therefore it can be concluded that there was a positive and significant correlation between sensation seeking and entrepreneurship of the fresh graduates in The Universitas Syiah Kuala.
