Abstract

Every individual must have self-efficacy as a form of belief in themselves. Self efficacy can affect the ability of understanding, knowledge and reasoning in problem solving both daily life problems and mathematical problems. In this study we want to see the effect of self efficacy on the ability of relational understanding of mathematics students at Fatmawati Sukarno State Islamic University Bengkulu. The approach of this research is quantitative by using simple regression method and the population is mathematics students of Fatmawati Sukarno State Islamic University Bengkulu with a sample of 32 students using stratified random sampling technique. The instruments applied in this study were questionnaires and tests. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that 43% of relational understanding ability is positively and significantly influenced by self efficacy. The higher the value of self efficacy, the higher the level of relational ability in students in working on a math problem. Keywords: Self-Efficacy, Relational Comprehension Skills

Abstract

This research aims to produce smart wheel-based mathematics learning media for class IV students at SD Negeri 5 Lubuklinggau that is valid, practical and effective. This research is development research using the ADDIE model. This model consists of five stages, namely: analysis stage, design stage, development stage and implementation, evaluation. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and questionnaires. The results of the research showed that valid smart wheel-based mathematics learning media was obtained with results for language experts of 0.86, material of 0.92, and media of 0.87 in the High category. The practicality result of the teacher response test was 86.67%, the individual test was 88.96% and the small group test was 81.48% with the practicality recapitulation result being 84.08% categorized as Very Practical. The effectiveness results obtained from the pretest and posttest with a recapitulation of 0.72 are categorized as High. Conclusion, based on the results of the assessment of the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the smart wheel-based mathematics learning media (ROPI) in class IV fraction material, it is included in the valid, practical and effective category in the learning process. Abstract

This study aims to develop an PMRI-based e-module product on rectangular class VII class VII SMP IT AN-NIDA Lubuklinggau according to the 2013 curriculum and to produce e-modules that are valid, practical and have potential effects. This development research method uses the ADDIE development model (Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate). The research was conducted at SMP IT AN-NIDA Lubuklinngau so that the population and sample or research subjects were class VII students with a total of 28 students. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique uses the validity of linguists with a value of 0.75, media experts with a value of 0.72 and material experts with a value of 0.68, so that the results of the analysis of the three validators get a value of 0.71 in the valid category. Furthermore, the practicality analysis of teachers and students gets a score of 92.07% in the very practical category and has a potential effect of 92.85%. So it can be concluded that the PMRI-based e-module on rectangular class VII class VII SMP IT AN-NIDA Lubuklinggau has met the criteria of being valid, practical and has a potential effect. Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of learning Mathematics for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Muara Rupit after being given learning using theDiscovery Learning learning model. This study used a quasi-experiment with apopulation of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Muara Rupit for the 2022/2023 school year and as a sample class, namely class VIIIf, which totaled 25. The data collection technique in this study was a field test. in the form of a description of 8 questions, the results of the study are the average value of students. that is 79,83. Data analysis using the t-test based on the results of the final test with a significant level = 0.05 and the results of the hypothesis test analysis obtained tcount (4,928) > ttable (1.710), so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Discovery Learning model on mathematics learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 1Muara Rupit in 2022/2023. Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes after learning using a collaborative-based problem-based leaning model in grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Lubuklinggau on the material of building a flat side room. The research method uses quantitative research with quasi-experimental research design. The sample in the study was grade VIII.3 students consisting of 20 students. The results showed that the average pre-test score (30.85) and post-test average score (78.3) increased learning outcomes with an average score of 47.45. It was concluded that descriptively the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 13 Lubuklinggau after the application of the collaborative-based problem-based learning model increased. Abstract

This study aims to describe the validity of the mathematics ability test instrument of grade VII junior high school students in odd semesters. The method used was a modification of the Wilson Model and the Oriondo and Antonio Models. The results of the research show that the validity of the mathematics test instrument for odd semester class VII junior high school odd semester students based on calculations that have been adjusted to Aiken’s V validity is included in the 0.833 – 1 category with high information or can be said to be valid. The conclusion is that the mathematics test instrument for class VII midle school students in the odd semester can be categorized as valid based on content validity for use in measuring students mathematical abilities. Abstract

This study aims to produced Student Worksheet based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) which is valid, practical and effective on the topic of operations of integer calculation. The method in this study refers to the development of Realistic Matematic Education Based Mathematics Student Worksheets with the design and development of learning modules using a 4-D development model with four stages: definition (define), planning (design), development (development), and deployment (disseminate). According to the research findings, the Mathematics Student Worksheet Based on Realistic Mathematic Education, showed a percentage of 91,87% with a very practical category, so that it can be recommended for used in learning, especially material for operations of integer calculation . The test results showed a percentage of 85.70% with a very effective category. concluded that the student workshetts based realistic mathematic education (RME) was practically, valid and effective for use in learning process. Abstract

This research aims to 1) Find out the application of these 3 methods and which method is the best in projecting the population in North Sumatra Province, 2) Find out the calculation results of the population in North Sumatra Province in the next 10 years using one of these 3 methods. The methods used are the arithmetic method, geometric method and least square method. The research results show that the least square method has the smallest standard deviation value, namely 525818.9095 compared to the arithmetic method which has a standard deviation value of 539847.056 and the geometric method which has a standard deviation value of 1571337.94. The conclusion is that the least squares method is used in calculating population projections in North Sumatra Province in 2023-2033 because it has the smallest standard deviation value and the results of population projections using the least squares method in 2023 are 15252306 and in 2033 are 16915092. Abstract

This research aims to analyze students' mathematical problem solving abilities in schools that implement the independent curriculum and the 2013 curriculum, based on Polya theory. The research method used is a qualitative method. The results of the research show that class Meanwhile, class The conclusion that can be drawn is that students who study with the independent curriculum have low problem solving abilities, seen from the students' inability to complete each step of solving Polya. Meanwhile, students who study with the 2013 curriculum have good problem solving abilities, seen from several students who can solve problems using Polya steps well.
