Abstract

The concept of Manyama Braya (Hindu Social Mutual Assistance) was used as a guideline by the people in the custom village of Sukawati because it is one of the existing local wisdom and even developed. The value of local wisdom, Manyama Braya implies an equality and fraternity or social recognition that we are brothers as a social fraternity; therefore the attitude and behavior of ours have to look at others as brothers who should be invited together in joy and sorrow. The concept of Manyama Braya was emphasized in daily life by the people in the custom village of Sukawati. This study was as a background of research of value Religious Hindu Education in the concept of Manyama Braya. The concept of Manyama Braya was important to be applied because the society in the village wanted to get prosperity and harmony in the society life. (2) The concept of Manyama Braya were implemented in a custom activity which were included Dewa Yadnya (Offering to Gods), Manusa Yadnya (Offering to people), Pitra Yadnya (Offering to ancestors) and Bhuta Yadnya (Offering to supernatural) and the concept of Manyama Braya was also implemented in everyday life. (3) The education values contained in the application of the concept of Manyama Braya namely: the value of ethics education was shown when the people always kept ethics in conducting customs activities. The value of harmony education was shown when the people always together kept maintaining harmonious indigenous activities and daily life. And the value of social education, was shown when the people work together in performing traditional custom activities and mutual assistance in everyday life.

Abstract

The complex theology in Bhagavad-Gita, and one of them is Vaisnava theology. Vaisnava theology is a part of Hindus theology to emphasize to devote in Visnu as the highest God. Vaisnava as the teaching and a trust (the belief) for the trustee (the believer) in Hindu called by Bhakti (devotion). This research used a qualitative method and as data and source qualitative so descriptive with case study that data analyses to qualitative-descriptive. Choosing Bhagavad-Gita as researching  because of Bhagavad-Gita teaching as a lightly that Bhagavad-Gita as the main books where Krishna as a personalty God and miisison by God. These researches combined by some theories, such as religion theory, functional theory and hermeneutika  theory.

Abstract

This research using triggered with the phenomenon that it is this day of the importance of the application of ethics in the life of , especially ethical in the vedas that exist in the life of religious social .This research using analysis deksriptif qualitative done with the approach phenomenology in of life at literature hindu .Research discussed about the history of communication in the vedas , ethics communication in the vedas and efforts the preservation of the implementation of the communication in the life of religious social . The result of this research showed that form of communication which limited only speak to your neighbor, but hindu give the findings for donations to civilization mankind that communication the most essential relationships are vertical with the almighty.Communication used in basic hindu thought this is what made the concept of the balance between spiritual life and a globe which is later, becomes the basis for behavior communicate in life in the present.In relation to the process communication veda is very long apply pattern interaction  with your neighbor and its environment good horizontally with fellow human beings began of the family, the community and even to the national interest and state.Their effort to preserve ethics communication in the vedas formed by openness individual, the integration of all components hindu, capital intellectual as turning point in progress human resources, and sanction to local knowledge.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter adalah usaha menanamkan kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang baik (habituation) sehingga peserta didik mampu bersikap dan bertindak berdasarkan nilai-nilai yang telah menjadi kepribadiannya. Salah satu media penting dalam pendidikan karakter adalah pendidikan agama Hindu di Pasraman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai integrasi pendidikan karakter dalam pendidikan agama Hindu di Pasaman Se-Jabodetabek.     Penelitian ini dilakukan di 5 Pasraman di Jabodetabek selama bulan Mei – November 2015 menggunakan desain mixed (campuran) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Aspek yang dinilai adalah perencanaan, pengelolaan dan implementasi pendidikan karakter, dampak pendidikan karakter dan faktor pendukung dan penghambat integrasi pendidikan karakter dalam pendidikan agama Hindu di Pasraman. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan lembar observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan angket.     Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ntegrasi pendidikan karakter dalam pendidikan agama Hindu di pasraman se-Jabodetabek belum sepenuhnya berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan belum baiknya proses perencanaan, pengololaan dan implementasi pendidikan karakter di pasraman. Faktor pendukung implementasi integrasi pendidikan karakter di pasraman adalah moivasi guru. Sedangkan faktor penghambat adalah motivasi siswa untuk belajar di pasraman rendah, pemahaman guru tentang pendidikan karakter rendah, orang tua masih berorientasi pada nilai, dan sarana prasarana pasraman yang tidak memadai.     Diperlukan perubahan paradigma pemerintah, pengelola pasraman, guru, dan orang tua mengenai pendidikan agama. Pemberdayaan pasraman sebagai sarana pendidikan karakter anak Hindu harus lebih dioptimalkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui deskripsi prestasi dan pengaruhModel pembelajaran Tri Kaya Parisudha terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa semester V Prodi Pendidikan Agama Hindu STKIP AH Singaraja. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan eksperimen “Post Test Only Control Group Dign”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester V Prodi Pendidikan Agama Hindu 54 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu “population study” yaitu meneliti semua subyek yang terdiri dari kelas A dan kelas B. Teknik undian digunakan untuk menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Dari hasil undian diperoleh kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas/semester V B sebanyak 28 orang dan kelas/semester A sebagai kontrol sebanyak 26 orang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode tes, wawancara, pencatatan dokumen, dan observasi. Analisis data digunakan metode statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dalam hal ini analisis perbedaan (t-Test). Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh rata-rata kelas eksperimen = 84,36 lebih besar dari rata-rata kelas kontrol = 72,44. Dari hasil uji hipotesis ditemukan hasil signikan pada taraf signifikansi 5% (0,05) dengan dk = 52 dimana batas penolakan hipotesis nol (Ho) yang terdapat dalam tabel (tt) sebesar 1,671, sedangkan koefisien nilai t yang diperoleh dalam penelitian (th) sebesar 1,780. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Tri Kaya Parisudha terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa semester V Prodi Pendidikan Agama Hindu STKIP AH Singaraja. Terkait dengan hasil tersebut maka implementasi hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai rujukan/referensi baru oleh dosen/pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Grand Design Hindu Dharma Indonesia (GDHDI) dimaksudkan sebagaI panduan bagi para pemangku kepentingan dan seluruh umat Hindu Indonesia, karena mendesain masa depan Hindu di Indonesia pada dasarnya adalah proses yang diskenariokan agar bertahan hidup dan menuju pertumbuhan umat Hindu di Indonesia, baik dalam kuantitas  dankualitas. Kebutuhan mendesak umat pada   saatkini, salah satunya adalah optimalisasi peran dari para Dharma Duta sebagai agen-agen perubahan untuk dapat menjangkau masyarakat dan melakukan pembinaan-pembinaan yang intensif serta efektif dan efisien. Peran Dharma Duta kini telah diwadahi oleh Lembaga Dharma Duta di bawah naungan Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia Pusat. GDHDI yang mulai dikenalkan dan ditetapkan dalam Mahasabha X Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia akan sangat baik jika didukung dengan kajian yang ilmiah, terutama dalam kaitan dengan peran Lembaga Dharma Duta yang juga sejalan dengan misi dari GDHDI, sehingga perlu melakukan kajian bagaimana Lembaga Dharma Duta dan Tim Koordinasi dan Integrasi GDHDI dapat bersinergi dalam menjalankan road-map grand design yang telah ditentukan.Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, data primer diperoleh melalui hasil wawancara dengan informan. Penetapan informan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka, observasi, dan wawancara.Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini antara lain masih dibutuhkannya sosialisasi yang real kepada masyarakat Hindu di Indonesia terkait dengan program kerja yang dimiliki oleh Lembaga Dharma Duta dan GDHDI; masih dibutuhkannya koordinasi yang kuat antara Lembaga Dharma Duta serta GDHDI terkait dengan rencana dan implemtasi kerja yang bertujuan dengan peningkatan kualitas penyuluh Agama Hindu di Indonesia. Dibutuhkan keseriusan serta kefokusan yang tepat dari Lembaga Dharma Duta terkait dengan banyak aspek yang masih dibutuhkan dalam peningkatan kualitas Penyuluh Agama; dan dibutuhkan program dan strategi kerja yang tepat yang harus dirancang bersama oleh Lembaga Dharma Duta dan GDHDI untuk meningkatkan dan memaksimalkan kualitas-kualitas yang dimiliki oleh penyuluh Agama Hindu di seluruh Indonesia.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) to know the meaning and religious values contained in the Nyakan diwang  tradition in Banyuatis Village, Banjar, Buleleng; (2) to provide an analyst with the implementation of the Nyakan diwang  tradition carried out in the area in relation to the process of educating the character of the younger generation of Hindus in the Banytuatis Village, Banjar, Buleleng.This research is classified as qualitative research. The data collection technique in this study uses purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The object of the research is the Nyakan diwang  tradition by the people of the Bayuatis Village, Banjar, Buleleng. Based on the object of the study, the subjects in this study were the community, the village head (Perbekel) and also the traditional prajuru of the Bayuatis Village, Banjar, Buleleng. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide an active learning and learning scenario based on Contextual Teaching and Learning to improve the quality of basic natural sciences students lighting and enhance the learning quality of basic natural sciences students with learning models of active learning based on Contextual Teaching and Learning. The design of this research is the study of action research class room with the subject of his research student amounted to 30 people. Data collection techniques with observations, interviews and end-of-cycle conducted test of learning results. For observation data and interviews are analyzed in a quantitative basis. While the test results are learned using performance indicators with graduation with a value of 7.5. Based on the results of analysis of actions that have been carried out, application of active learning based engagement model Contextual Teaching and Learning can improve the quality of learning basic natural Sciences in the description of 62.96% in cycle I To 85.19% in cycle II or an increase of 25.93%.

Abstract

This study will discuss the meaning of the use of Kober Gaṇapati (flag that portrays of the god Gaṇeśa) at the Ṛṣi Gaṇa ceremony held at Agung Taman Sari Temple, Halim Perdana Kusuma, and Kober Gaṇapati during the nangluk mrana ceremony held at Pura Segara Kemayu, North Jakarta. This study uses qualitative descriptive method, researchers interviewed several speakers as data, observations were made during the ceremony, by observing each series of ceremonies carried out. The results of the study prove that there is a broad meaning and value of theological education (knowledge of God) on the Kober Gaṇapati used in both ceremonies, by examining the two forms of Kober Gaṇapati, the researchers prove that there are comparison, similarities and differences in the meaning of Kober Gaṇapati. In Gaṇapati Kober, the priority is worship of the god Gaṇapati, but in the use of kober there is a difference that is the symbol used. The Kober Gaṇapati research was performed by Ṛṣi Gaṇa, the symbol of Gaṇesha carrying a gun, while at the nangluk mrana simbol kober ceremony, Gaṇapati carried chakras and mace. From the second Kober Gaṇapati the researcher proved the educational value of Hindu theology, namely the value of Nirguṇa Brahmān and Saguna Brahmān education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Problem Based Learning Models aplications on Problem Solving Skills of Class VIII Students in Pasraman Amrta Jati Cinere. The research used a quantitative approach method by using the semi-experimental method (quasi experimental design) and the nonequivalent control group design model. The data analysis techniques used the Paired Sample T-Test and Independent Sample T-Test. Based on the results of the study, it was noted that the results of the Independent Sample T-Test Test used to determine the difference in the average value of the problem solving skills of the experimental class and the control class the value of sig was obtained. (2-tailed) is 0,000 < 0.05 then H0 was successfully rejected and Ha wad accepted, it means that the variant of the posttest results of students' problem solving skills between the experimental class using the problem based learning model and the control class using the direct learning model is there significant differences. It is concluded that there is an influence of the application of the Problem Based Learning model to the problem solving skills of gradeVIII students in Pasraman Amrta Jati Cinere.Keywords: Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model, Problem Solving Skills
