Abstract

This thesis discusses "The Use of the Banten Dewa-dewi at the Piodalan Ceremony in DKI Jakarta (Overview of Form, Function and Meaning)". This study aims to obtain the form, function and meaning of the Banten of the Dewa-dewi so that the offer can be used as a means of carrying out the Piodalan ceremony. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive design, using unstructured interviews or in-depth interviews as data collection techniques and data management so that the authors do not make a list of standard or structural questions in data management in order to prevent things that intervene informants. The author conducted an interview with the informant who is a sulinggih, serati banten, and lecturer of Hindu religious events domiciled in DKI Jakarta. In addition, the authors use the literature method as secondary data to support the statements of the informants. The data that I get through the collection techniques above, the authors analyze and manage data so that it gets results the meaning of the banten of the Dewa-dewi as the place where Ida Sang Hyang Widhi went on when the Piodalan ceremony was held, because God's intangible capacity will be difficult to be worshiped by Hindus who are bound by worldliness. The Banten of Dewa-dewi also have meaning as symbols of God in the form of Ardhanareswari (Purusa and Pradhana as the beginning of the Creation of the universe so that they can provide balance in life.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of MURDER strategy on students ' learning outcomes in Hindu learning at Pasraman Purna Widya Kelapa Dua.This research is quantitative research with a semi-experimental design. To get results Pre test and Post Test from research conducted obtained test-T for Post Test class of 4.315 which shows that there is influence of the implementation of the MURDER strategy (Mood, Mood, Understand, Recall, Digest, Expand, and Review) on the outcome of learning Hindu education and ethics in the class X students Pasraman Kelapa Dua. Test-T for a pree test value of 0.29 which indicates both classes have the same ability. The average Post Test value for the experiment class is 89.75 and for the control class it is 85.4. While the average Pree Test value for the experimental class is 79.2 and for the control class is 79.6. From the research it can be concluded that the MURDER strategy can be used as an alternative to improve the learning outcomes of high school students in the Pasraman Kelapa Dua

Abstract

Formal Pasraman is a religious education institution established by the community tha has been registered with a government agency. The existence of formal Pasraman is important for Hindus, because it is able to show its function of existence in accordance with the expectations of society. However, not all regions can implement these government programs, such as in Seputih Mataram Subdistrict, Central Lampun g Regency, which does not have a formal Pasraman. This research was conducted to determine the perception of the community, namely community leaders, and the general public, in Seputih Mataram Subdistrict, Central Lampung Regency, towards formal Pasraman. To abtain data ini this study used questionnaire data collection techniques. Sampling was done by using Disproportionate stratified random sampling technique using the Slovin formula. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative percentage. The findings of the study are that the level of perception of both community leaders and the general public is not different, namely agreeing if a formal Pasraman is built in Seputih Mataram Subdistrict, except that the response in the case of formal Pasraman development within the scope of the village the level of perception of the general public is higher than community leaders. Meanwhile, the response in terms of donations of funds, material donations, and children’s interest in continuing their education at Hindu higher education, the level of perception community leaders was higher than that of the general public

Abstract

This thesis discusses Critical Thinking Patterns in the 21st Century Era of Teaching and Learning Space (Studies in Pasraman, Tangerang City). The purpose of this study is to find out how the pattern of Critical Thinking Program (critical thinking) in teaching and learning space and What are the Positive and Negative Impacts of Teaching and Learning Process Using Critical Thinking. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design. Data collection techniques using research instruments, interviews, observation and documentation. The author conducted interviews with informants. The results of the study prove that the critical thinking program pattern in the 21st century teaching and learning space in Pasraman Kerta Jaya Tangerang and Pasraman Dharma Sidhi Ciledug, that the critical thinking program pattern has begun to be applied in Pasraman Kerta Jaya Tangerang and Pasraman Dharma Sidhi Ciledug. The positive and negative impacts of training the ability of Hindu young generation to become a generation of good leaders in the future and carry a better Hindu name.Keywords : Critical thinking, 21st Century Era

Abstract

The  majority of Hindus in Bali as agents who implemented Saiva Siddhanta’s teachings , of course they are very aware of the various attributes and everything that is inherent and related to Shiva Lord. One of the most iconic when mentioning the name of Lord Shiva is his vehicle or mount named Lembu Nandhini (Which is correlated with the cow). For the Hindu community in Bali the existence of cows is something is somewhat confusing and ambivalent. Its said because the existence of the animal is in two different sides, namely between sacred animal or being animals that are allowed consumed. This kind of question is something that should be discussed. First, from the theological point of view the existence of cattle for Hindus (especially for Hindus in Bali) these ruminants are animals that have symbolic meaning  as  non profane animals. This means  that cows are a symbol  of the purity and  seriousness of the devotees in maintaining the spirit and greatness of Lord Shiva. Second, from a philosophical point of view the fear of consuming processed beef is because Hinduism recognizes the concept of pantheism. Pantheism is a philosophical conception that sees the divine is everything. The universe in filled with the divine and all power both naturaland among humans are manifestations of the divine self. Trird, from a sociological teory point of view, especially in environmental sociology, there is a theory called culture ecology theory. In this context, cows are considered  as sacred and sacred animals, by  environmental  sociology theory  as  functional animals. So to  maintain the population and its functionality, idioms are made so that the  number of  cows is maintained. To clarify and detail the theory above, a quite interesting idea was stated by  Marvin  Harris (1996), when he developed a study of the ecological theory of religion. According to him, religious doctrines and beliefs are influenced by the environment. This view is based on Harris’ observations on Hinduism in India, which considers cows to be sacred.

The progress of the school is very dependent on the role of the principal in leading the school, in addition there is the role of a teacher in assisting the headmaster in advancing the quality of education in schools and other collaborative school residents to help develop academic quality and improve the quality of the school so that it still exists and is able to compete with the school Another and the most important thing is to collaborate with students 'parents to develop their students' potential.From this background the authors are interested in conducting research by taking the title of the thesis "The Role of Good School Management can improve School Achievement (Case Study at Pertiwi Abhilasa Elementary School)".This study aims to determine the implementation of school management and to determine the implications of the implementation of the quality learning in SD Pertiwi Abhilasa. This type of research is qualitative research. This research is descriptive qualitative, the data collected in the form of words from the results of in-depth interviews and in the form of pictures. So that using primary data and secondary data complement each other.This research is showing there are relation role of school management in Pertiwi Abhilasa Elementary School so as to improve school performance in accordance with G.R Terry's theory in school management it requires planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and following up. However, for school facilities and infrastructure facilities are still minimal, and the marketing management of Pertiwi Abhilasa Elementary School still needs to be developed to highest level as possible so number of students can be increases every year. Keywords: Role, Management, School, Achievement

Abstract

ABSTRACTLack of understanding of philosophical values in Semar puppet characters, which makes the decline of the noble values of Javanese people today. So that got the formulation of the problem, who is the character of the semar puppet in Javanese wayang, the philosophical value of the puppet semar character and its relevance to the Javanese Hindu community in Pringsewu Lampung. This research is a descriptive research (descriptive research) using the descriptive field method. This study tries to explore how the semar and philosophical values of the Wayang Semar characters, namely, eat the name Semar. Semar is a puppet character who gives a toadan like a teacher. the meaning of the Wayang Semar form which is a picture of God or the balance of life to reach God. The origin of the Semar puppet is interpreted as the concept of morality in Hinduism. The philosophical value of Semar is as a teacher who always gives enlightenment to care for the warriors to always be on the path of dharma. and its relevance to the education of the Javanese Hindu Community in Pringsewu Lmpung. Wisdom value, the value of Tri Hita Krana and Education as servants. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Gambaran Kepemimpinan Diri Siswa, Gambaran Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Hindu Siswa, dan Pengaruh antara Kepemimpinan Diri dengan Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Hindu Siswa Kelas X di Pasraman Tirta Bhuana Bekasi. Penelitian ini didasari dari permasalahan bahwa diduga kepemimpinan diri berkaitan dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Hindu siswa. Metode dalam penelitian ini ialah kuantitatif dengan studi eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 yang diambil secara keseluruhan (sampel jenuh) pada siswa kelas X Pasraman Tirta Bhuana Bekasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan diri dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Hindu yang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0.627 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan nilai t_hitung 2.583 > t_tabel = 1.701. Jadi kepemimpinan diri dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Hindu siswa berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan.

Abstract

ABSTRACTReligion from the perspective of understanding and from the historical point of view, its emergence has the nuances of peace and harmony for life in this world and for the eternal life. However, in its development, religion which has a positive meaning has been manipulated by individuals and groups for power and economic interests and other interests that are not in harmony with the moral values of religion itself. Because of these, the excesses of religion emerged, such as ritualism, fanaticism, radicalism, and intolerant attitudes between religious communities. All of them have extreme nuances. There are extreme in terms of ritual, that is ritualism; extreme in their own beliefs, that is fanaticism; extreme in their implementation, that is radicalism which is anti-contextualization of religious teachings and laws. Another extreme of such religiosity is skepticism and even contra-religion which give birth to a secularistic attitude. These two extremes certainly contradicted with the values of Pancasila which are the basic and ideology of the Indonesian nation and state. It is the concern that triggered this study to offer moderate religious education as the bridge between the two extremes in religion which the Ministry of Religion in Indonesia calls religious moderation. With a phenomenological study and literature review, this article is packaged to achieve this goal. So, from the study of the problem with its religious theories, the conclusion is that in the context of Indonesia, which is plural in terms of religion as well as ethnicity and race, it cannot be other than that religious moderation education urgent to be instilled in students from the early age, because it is very relevant now and in the future for the nation and the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia to remain firmly standing in line with the sacred motto: Bhineka Tunggal Ika. Keywords: Religious moderation, religion, religious education, Pancasila

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis thesis will discuss about Premarital Counseling of Hindus as part of the Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia DKI Jakarta program for the purpose of providing services to foster pre-marital couples. However, today a marriage which is a sacred and sacred bond in which a pre-marital couple does not yet have a family meaning, because it is based on love without any preparation that will lead to the development of family life, needs equipping in accordance with marital administration information, about knowledge religion and responsibilities and responsibilities as Citizens. Hindu Premarital Counseling Study Program in the Perspective of Interpersonal Communication Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia DKI Jakarta. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods by collecting data through interviews, observations and documentation studies, then in this study using the theory of Phenomenology and Symbolic Interactionism. The findings of this study are that premarital counseling is not only limited to coaching, which is approved by PHDI DKI Jakarta, through this program creating superior and new programs that can be implemented first in DKI Jakarta by making marriage books and pre-marital module books. In addition, this couple also discussed about different education, very different, and very interesting. In addition, the couple was also interested in various programs that existed after the ceremony.
