Abstract

The module is an independent learning package that includes a series of systematically designed learning experiences to help learners achieve learning goals. Therefore, the module must be organized in a creative, innovative manner, in accordance with the basic competencies and applicable curriculum, and the use of language is easy to understand by students understanding and can influence the mindset of students on learning materials. Rotational Dynamics is one of the sub-chapters on the subject of Curriculum Physics 2013 at SMA / MA level. In this Dynamics Rotation Material requires students to work hard in mastering the concept given. Therefore it is necessary a teaching materials in the form of modules that are effective in improving students critical thinking skills. The modules were developed using the Discovery Learning base. Students are given the opportunity to develop their creative ideas in solving the problem of rotational dynamics so that their critical thinking ability can develop. In this study, the preliminary rresearch was conducted. The subjects of this study are the students of class XI MIA 2 and XI MIA 3 in MAN 2 Kediri, amounting to 78 students and 2 teachers. Preliminary research data obtained through questionnaire needs analysis for students and questionnaire needs analysis filled by teachers, as well as interviews conducted to confirm the questionnaire data needs analysis obtained. Based on preliminary research conducted on class XI students and teachers agreed to develop the learning module of Physics based on Discovery Learning as teaching material in learning.

Abstract

Endrin residues are still remain in the  land field these compounds are no longer used by farmers and have been banned by the government. This residue can stay in the soil longer and persistant. Microbial enrichment is expected to accelerate the degradation of pesticide residues. Microbes stretcher are Bacillus substillis, Heliothrix oregonensis, Catenococcus thiocycli, and Achoromobacter sp obtained from the preliminary research results  from soil isolation of idegenus in LIPI Cibinong Microbiology Laboratory.  Soil for the planting medium obtained from the village of Karawang, Regency Cilamaya Wetan, Cilamaya District. The experiment was conducted in the field by using lysimeter at the Experiment Jakenan station from July 2013 to December 2013. The objective of the was to obtain technology of activated carbon-coated urea and biochar which  enriched microbial indegenus. The experiment was used randomized block design (RCBD) with 3 replications.  Plant used are rice. Insecticide residue analysis was carried out in the laboratory in Bogor Balingtan using gas wchromatography (GC), with the SNI method 06-6991.1-2004. The purpose of this study knowing the capabilities of urea coating with activated carbon enrichment microbia in reducing the concentration of residues endrin. The  objective were urrea coated activated carbon from coconut shell were enriched with microbes on paddy field can lower pesticide residues of endrin until 33.65%.  This carbon as the preferred home. Enrichmentwith microbial indegenuscan improve theeffectivenessof ureacoating biochar andureacoatingactivated carbon coconut shell todecrease concentration of endrin.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembela- jaran dengan diagram Roundhouse terhadap kemampuan kognitif, dan metakognitif siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Ngaglik Sleman Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA N 1 Ngaglik Sleman Yogyakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA N 1 Ngaglik Sleman. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah se­luruh siswa yang terdapat pada kelas XI IPA 1 dan IPA 2 yang ditentukan berdasarkan pertimbangan guru mata pelajaran biologi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan design penelitian semu dengan design nonrandomized control group pretes dan postes design. Instrumen penelitian yaitu soal tes dan lembar inventori metakognitif. Data hasil penelitian diuji dengan menggunakan uji anakova dan uji Mann Whitney U. Hasil penelitian pada kelas dengan pembelajaran menggunakan diagram Roundhouse diperoleh data rata-rata ke­mampuan kognitif sebesar 71,41 dan kemampuan metakognitif 115,2.. Sementara itu pa­da kelas pembelajaran konvensional diperoleh data rata-rata kemampuan kognitif sebesar 57,33, dan kemampuan metakognitif 113, 76. Hasil uji statistik data diatas diperoleh nilai signifikansi kemampuan kognitif 0,002, dan kemampuan metakognitif 0,00. Hal ini berar- ti ada perbedaan kemampuan kognitif dan metakognitif kelas kontrol dan eksperimen.

Abstract

Study on implementation of teaching practice guidance by using the appreciable model's method has been carried out in order to enhance the teaching skill of a teacher’s candidate in teaching the scientific subject. The mode! 'applied by the candidates during teaching was created by the supervisors. The study it self was'carried out during the student s practice of teaching in 3 junior high school, supervised by 3 lecturer and 3 senior teachers. The candidates were then asked to make the review toward that method and disscuss it with the supervisor.The results indicated that the appreciable model’s method could be as an alternative method used by the candidate and supervisor during the guidance of teacher’s candidate. It was showed by the raising of the candidate 's skill in making the teaching materials preparation, and also the teaching skill respectivelly.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to know the significant correlation between profession awareness, previous school belonging and perception toward teaching with acquisition of study yield on the student of graduate-degree equalizing program of PGSM on the department of Mathematics and Natural Science Education.Descriptive analysis characterized by expost facto was used. Data was collected upon 40 student of PGSM. Anareg and Analysis of Variant with dummy variables were used with the degree of significant of p>0.05.The result showed that there is a positive correlation, which is not significant between profession awareness, previous school belonging and the perception toward teaching with acquisition of study yield on the student (R=406; p=0,086, thus p>0,05)

Abstract

ABSTRAK-Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran biologi dengan Guided Inquiry Model menggunakan LKS terbimbing dan LKS bebas termodifikasi, kreativitas, motivasi berprestasi siswa, serta interaksinya terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2x2x2. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 6 Madiun tahun pelajaran 2012­2013. Sampel diperoleh dengan teknik cluster random sampling terdiri dari 2 kelas XI A1 and XI A3. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes untuk prestasi belajar kognitif, psikomotor, dan mengukur kreativitas, serta angket untuk motivasi berprestasi dan prestasi belajar afektif. Data dianalisis menggunakan anava tiga jalan, berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: 1) guided inquiry model menggunakan LKS terbimbing dan LKS bebas termodifikasi memberikan pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, 2) kreativitas memberikan pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik, 3) motivasi berprestasi memberikan pengaruh terhadap prestasi kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, 4) terdapat interaksi antara guided inquiry model menggunakan LKS terbimbing dan LKS bebas termodifikasi dengan kreativitas terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, tetapi tidak pada prestasi belajar afektif dan psikomotorik, 5) tidak terdapat interaksi antara guided inquiry model menggunakan LKS terbimbing dan LKS bebas termodifikasi dengan motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik, 6) terdapat interaksi antara kreativitas dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi belajar afektif dan psikomotorik, tetapi tidak pada prestasi belajar kognitif, 7) terdapat interaksi antara guided inquiry model menggunakan LKS terbimbing dan LKS bebas termodifikasi, dengan kreativitas dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi belajar afektif, tetapi tidak pada prestasi belajar kognitif dan psikomotorik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve science process skill (SPS) mastery of tenth graders using guided inquiry. Research design is classroom action research. Data taken by direct observation and analyzing the students' worksheet. Student worksheets analyzed by comparing to the SPS indicator from Harlen and Rustaman. Data analysis using descriptive method. It can be concluded that 1) application of guided inquiry can improve the students’ skill mastery. 2) Students will felt uncomfortable when moved from traditional learning class to guided inquiry without prior adaptation, impeding learning process, lowering students' perform and achievement. 3) Inquiry should be applied gradually, based on the condition and situation of the students, particularly when students used to traditional teaching.

Abstract

The research was conducted in order to determine the species richness in the cave region of southern island of Lombok. The study was conducted through a survey technique at 5 caves located in the southern region of the island of Lombok the Cave Gale-Gale, Buwun Cave, Cave Kenculit, Raksasa Cave and Cave Pantai Surga. The survey was conducted from March to May 2014. Sampling bat for identification as done by using the mist nets. Bats were caught identified further in the Laboratory of Biological Science, University of Mataram. The results show that has found 6 Family with 12 species. Based on identification of 12 species were found in the caves of the area south of the island of Lombok, there are 9 species ever discovered by Kitchener (2002) in his study on the island of Lombok is Hipposiderosater, Rhinolopussimplex, Rosettusamplxicaudatus, Hipposiderosdiadema, Eonycterisspeleae, Miniopteruspusillus, Taphazousmelanopogon, Macroglossusminimus, and Murinacyclotis, Hipposiderosbicolor, Rhinopoma microphyllum and Phoniscus atrox.

Abstract

Bakteri Bacillus thuringensis adalah salah satu jenis mikroba yang telah dikembangkan sebagai salah satu bioinsektisida karena bersifat pathogen terhadap serangga. Sifat dari Kristal protein bakteri Bacillus thuringensis bersifat spesisfik terhadap serangga sehingga sangat efektif dan tidak membahayakan organisme non target. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bioinsektisida dari isolate Bacillus thuringensis yang memiliki konsentrasi tepat untuk mengendalikan serangan hama wereng hijau sebagai agen virus tungro pada tanaman padi. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan meliputi isolasi, pemurnian isolat, pemurnian Kristal protein intaseluler dan aplikasi melalui LD50. Pada penelitian ini digunakan konsentrasi 0,01 ppm, 0,05 ppm, 0,07 ppm, dan 0,1 ppm. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil konsentrasi LD50 adalah 0,07 ppm.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) examine the influence of inquiry-based learning on product cognitive learning outcomes. 2) examine the influence of inquiry-based learning on the cognitive learning outcomes of the process. 3) examine the influence of inquiry-based learning on the critical thinking skills of high school students. The model used was quasi experiment with counter balance design, and the nonequivalent control group design. The independent variables of inquiry-based learning, while the dependent variable is the result of cognitive learning of the product, the cognitive learning outcome of the process, and the critical thinking ability. The research population of students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Tabuk Banjar District consists of three classes, namely class XI IPA-1 XI IPA-2 and XI IPA-3. The samples of the significance test to the learning outcomes of treatment I were class XI IPA-2 and XI IPA-3, and control class XI IPA-1. Class II treatment is class XI IPA-1 and XI IPA-2, while control class is class XI IPA-3. Determination of treatment class with purposive sampling technique. The sample of significance test on the critical thinking thinking ability of class is XI IPA-2 and XI IPA-3, while control is class XI IPA-1. The study was conducted three months (October-December 2016). The instrument of cognitive product and cognitive measuring processes consists of multiple choice test items, and for measuring critical thinking skills with essay tests. The cognitive learning outcomes are scored 1 if true and 0 if false, whereas critical thinking skills use rubric essay tests. Test of significance using anacova with SAS release 9.1.3. The results obtained 1) Inquiry-based learning has an effect on the product cognitive learning outcomes (F-ratio = 42.95, P = 0.001 and F-ratio 37.84; P = 0.001). 2) also affects the cognitive learning outcomes of the process (F-ratio = 94.84; P = 0.001 and F-ratio 54.56; P = 0.001); and 3) has no effect on applicability (F-ratio = 1.03 , P = 0.36), but has an effect on the ability to analyze (F-ratio = 39.75, P = 0.001, F-ratio 2.83.56; P = 0.05; F-ratio 11.89; P = 0.001), and the ability to evaluate (F-ratio = 2.70; P = 0.05).
