Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran di luar kelas berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan kretivitas siswa dalam penanganan limbah.  SMK sebagai sekolah menengah kejuruan, siswanya dituntut untuk mempunyai keterampilan yang diperlukan di industri/dunia usaha. Untuk itu maka   dalam kegiatan pembelajaran harus dapat mendukung tumbuh kembangnya pribadi peserta didik yang berjiwa kewirausahaan dan mempunyai kecakapan hidup. Salah satunya melalui  pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan mengolah limbah menjadi trash fashion. Penelitian diawali dengan observasi lingkungan sekolah oleh guru, kemudian guru menyusun lembar kerja siswa (LKS). Lembar kerja siswa ini penting agar pada saat siswa melakukan pembelajaran di luar kelas sudah ada panduan yang jelas apa saja yang harus dilakukan. Berdasarkan pengamatan penulis, di lingkungan sekolah masih banyak limbah yang belum diolah, dan kebanyakan limbah yang ada jenisnya adalah anorganik.  Jenis penelitian ini merupakan kuasi eksperimen, dengan metode penelitian weak experimental designs, dan desain penelitian the one group pretest-posttes design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI di SMK  Negeri  3 Cimahi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dipilih secara purposive sampling, yakni diambil  satu kelas eksperimen, yaitu kelas XI Tata Busana 1.  Instrumen yang digunakan berupa LKS yang disusun dengan mengacu pada indikator berpikir kreatif, dan  produk kreatif berupa  trash fashion. Penilaian produk berdasarkan rubrik yang disusun oleh guru menunjukkan bahwa  produk kreatif di atas kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan, yakni rata-rata 81 dari rata-rata 73. Pembuatan trash fashion ini merupakan salah satu bukti nyata kepedulian siswa terhadap lingkungan, melatih kreativitas siswa, dan meningkatkan ketrampilan siswa dalam pengolahan limbah menjadi sebuah karya yang bernilai seni dan ekonomis, sehingga dapat membuka peluang usaha.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran model Science Technology Society melalui metode eksperimen lapangan dan laboratorium, pada siswa yang memiliki sikap peduli lingkungan dan kreativitas verbal kategori tinggi dan rendah, terhadap prestasi belajar biologi siswa, serta interaksinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode true experiment. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Petanahan Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling sebanyak 2 kelas, yaitu kelas X4 dan X7. Kelas X4 diberi pembelajaran dengan metode eksperimen lapangan dan kelas X7 dengan metode eksperimen laboratorium. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes untuk mendapatkan data prestasi belajar kognitif, psikomotor dan kreativitas verbal siswa, metode angket untuk mendapatkan data sikap peduli lingkungan, prestasi belajar afektif serta metode observasi untuk memperoleh data afektif dan psikomotorik. Uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan anava tiga jalan dengan desain faktorial 2x2x2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : penggunaan metode eksperimen lapangan dan eksperimen laboratorium berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa; ada pengaruh sikap peduli lingkungan terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor; kreativitas verbal berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik; ada interaksi antara metode dan sikap peduli lingkungan terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa; tidak ada interaksi antara metode dan kreativitas terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa; ada interaksi antara sikap peduli lingkungan dengan kreativitas verbal terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor, tidak ada interaksi antara metode, sikap peduli lingkungan, dengan kreativitas verbal terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to know the influence of (1) human reproduction understanding (2) parental cares, (3) sexes and (4) interaction of each factor toward the sexual behavior of the students. The method used in this research was descriptive-quantitative method by expost facto. Research was carried out upon 3 rd grade students of SMA N 5 Surakarta as the population that sampled. The sampling technique used was random sampling technique which sampled 120 students. The data collected by using evaluation (test) method, documentation and anquette and analyzed by using analyses of variance.Statistical results showed that (1) the influence of human reproduction understanding toward sexual behavior is (Fo > Ft = 5.23 > 5.18), (2) parental cares toward sexual behavior is ( Fo > Ft = 12.654 > 5.18), (3) sexes toward sexual behavior is ( Fo > Ft = 70.712 > 5.18), (4) interaction between human reproduction understanding and parental cares toward sexual behavior is ( Fo > Ft = 5.666 > 5.18), (5) interaction between human reproduction understanding and sexes toward sexual behavioris ( Fo > Ft = 7.701 > 5.18), (6) interaction between parental cares and sexes toward sexual behavior is ( Fo > Ft = 10.295 > 5.18), (7) interaction among the three factors toward sexual behavior is ( Fo> Ft = 5.364 > 5.18).The aims of this research are to know the influence of (1) human reproduction understanding (2)parental cares, (3) sexes and (4) interaction of each factor toward the sexual behavior of the students.The method used in this research was descriptive-quantitative method by expost facto. Abstract

The aim of this research was to identify some characters of mangrove gastropod’s shell, which varied among species and modified from its basic structure. Some characters are often lost or added make some difficulties for the student to identify the characters. Those characters are also confusing and lead to missidentification respectively. From that case, studying the variation of the shell characters among species and its modification from the original structure of gastropod's shell is needed. A model and description of the shell and its characters is useful guide for identification and also as an  alternative teaching material for studying the gastropod.Mangrove gastropod's specimens from previous research ( Karyanto et al. 2003) are the materials studied on; represent the numerous variation and modification of gastropod's shell. The basic structures are identified according to Robert et al (1982), Pechenik (1991) and Beeslev et al (1998). Variation and modification whether reduction or addition from its original were then mentioned and schemed. The shells of the 9 families of gastropod show some specific features, which respective to the shell structure offamily, thus the identification to the family can be carried out by using the shell characters offamily. Some characters that lead to the genera and species are more various and sophisticate. Axial ridges, transversal ridges, eroded apex, elongated siphonal canal, spine, thickened aperture, the presence of the aperture teeth, thickening operculum with calcareous material and coloration are some variant that obtained. Those characters reflect modification and play some important notes while studying the shell

Abstract

ABSTRACT- The purpose of this research is to know the level of human capital in    Sub-Watershed Keduang related to conservation efforts in the watershed. Based on the questionnaires on human capital in the watershed Keduang, levels of achievement of   particular capital at Keduang can be measured. The survey shows that 34.48% farmers of sub Watershed Keduang is considered as low educated. The level of human capital is 40.70 with a standard deviation of 6:51. If the total score of the ideal criteria is 55 the   actual level of human capital is considered as moderate. Such degree of human capital is considered as sufficiently support efforts in watershed management at Keduang.

Abstract

This research aimed to improve the high-order thinking ability of students by applying PBL model in Environment Pollution of 10th MIA 3 graders of SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. This study was a classroom action research followed the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart’s, and conducted in two cycles, from April to May 2016. Each cycle consisted of 4 stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The participants were 31 students (18 female and 13 male students) of 10th MIA 3 graders of SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. Data was obtained using essay test on the high-order thinking ability, interview, observation sheet on the implementation of PBL syntax, observation sheet on affective and psychomotor aspects of students. Essay test of high-order thinking ability includes: analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), and creating (C6) based on Bloom’s revised taxonomy. Data analysis was descriptively. The target of research was the improvement of students’ high-order thinking ability in every aspect more than 23% from based line to the end of research cycle. The result shows that the PBL model in environment pollution material is able to improve the high-order thinking ability of students by ≥23% from based line to the end of research cycle. The increase of percentage gain in each aspect of high-order thinking ability from pre-cycle to cycle II was as follows: 1) the analyzing aspect increased by 25.16%, 2) the evaluating aspect increased by 26.66%, and 3) the creating aspect increased by 23.95%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL), Blended Learning (BL) models, and the Integration of BL-PBL, capability of evaluating and creativity toward student’s achievement. This experimental research was carried out in September to December 2013. The populations of research were all students in grade XI of SMA Negeri l Pati Academic Year 2013/2014 that consists of 262 students divided into eight study groups. The sample of research was consisted of three study groups; they were XI-IPA2, XI-IPA4 and XI-IPA6 determined by random cluster sampling technique. XI-IPA2 study group used BL model, XI-IPA4 study group used PBL model, and XI-IPA6 study group used the Integration of BL-PBL models. The data was collected by using the instrument of cognitive test, and questionnaires of affective, psychomotor, capability of evaluating and creativity. The data then was analyzed by using three-ways ANAVA with 3x2x2 factorial design with signification 5%, and it then was continued by using Scheffe test if there was interaction. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) There was no difference of effect of BL, PBL, and the Integration of BL-PBL models toward student’s cognitive, affective and psychomotor achievements; 2) There was difference of effect of capability of evaluating toward student’s cognitive, affective and psychomotor achievements; 3) There was effect of creativity toward student’s cognitive, affective and psychomotor achievements; 4) There was no interaction between BL, PBL, and the Integration of BL-PBL models with the capability of evaluating toward student’s cognitive, affective and psychomotor achievements; 5) There was interaction between BL, PBL models, and the Integration of BL-PBL with the creativity toward student’s cognitive, affective and psychomotor achievements; 6) There was interaction between capability of evaluating and creativity toward student’s cognitive, affective and psychomotor achievements; 7) There was no interaction between BL, PBL models, and the Integration of BL-PBL, capability of evaluating and creativity toward student’s cognitive, affective and psychomotor achievements.

Abstract

The research objective was to improve student’s Science Process Skill (SPS) through the use of guided inquiry learning model at grade XI MIA 2 of SMA Negeri Colomadu Karanganyar academic year 2015/2016.The research is considered as Classroom Action Research that performed by planning, action, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The subject of research is students of XI MIA 2 SMA Negeri Colomadu Karanganyar that consist of 34 students. Data are obtained by observation, interview, test, and documentation. Data validation used triangulation method. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive technique. The research procedure used spiral methods.The result of research showed that application of guided inquiry learning model improved the science process skill of XI MIA 2 SMA Negeri Colomadu academic year 2015/2016. Precentage average of science process skill aspect in pre-cycle is 46,08%, in cycle 1 is 50,71% (improve 4,63%), and in cycle 2 is 61,94% (improve 11,23%).The conclusion of this research describes there was increasing science process skill of student on biology through the application of guided inquiry learning model at grade XI MIA2 in SMA Negeri 2 Colomadu Karanganyar academic year 2015/2016.

Abstract

The objective was to describe morphology, structure of anatomy, and cytology characters of the five species as well as to determine their differences each other. In the present study five Nepenthes from West Kalimantan were evaluated: N. veitchii, N. negleta, N. bicalcarata, N. clipeata, and N. hirsuta. Morfology analysis of five species Nepenthes showed different morphology in particular shape of pitcher that each species have a unique pitcher. Cytology analysis showed high variation between species. In general, it was demonstrated that N. bicalcarata tended to have bigger epidermal cells and stomata. N. bicalcarata had aktinocytik tipe of stomata and N. clipeata, N. veitchii, N. hirsuta, and N. negleta had anomocytik tipe of stomata. Stomata only had on the lower surface except N. negleta had stomata on the upper too. N. negleta had the higher of density and index stomata. The result of transversal showed variation of mesofil tissue (parenchim of palisade and spons). Epidermis cell was conducted in one layer with hipoepidermis cell more than one layer with the biggest size than epidermis cell. N. veitchii had more tricoma from the others species.
