Abstract

The issue of human resource performance in Islamic Banking is an important concern. Based on the KPI value of one of Islamic banking employees in Pekanbaru, there are several aspects of performance measurement that have not been met, especially from the work behavior assessment. This study aimed to determine the effect of locus of control on employee satisfaction and performance. This type of research is quantitative, where the sample in this study was 95 Islamic bank employees in Pekanbaru, which were taken using a total sampling technique. The data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS application. The results showed that Internal locus of control has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction and employee performance. External locus of control does not affect Job Satisfaction or the performance of banking employees. Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, and also Job satisfaction in this study has found as a mediating variable between internal locus of control on employee performance, but not in the external locus of control. The implications of this research can be used by Islamic banking in Pekanbaru to develop more effective employee development strategies and programs, focusing on developing internal locus of control and increasing job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the important role of companies in the context of globalization, where dependence between countries is increasing. The company is a vital element in meeting the needs of the global community. The main objective of this study is to analyze how organizational culture mediates the relationship between motivation, leadership, and supply chain management to employees' green behavior. The population of this study was employees of PT. X which has a total of 592 employees, the sampling technique used is simple random sampling so that a sample of 86 employees from PT. X. The research method used is quantitative research by applying Partial Least Squares (PLS) as a data analysis tool. The results showed that motivation and leadership had a significant and positive influence on employees' green behavior. Motivation also has a significant positive influence on employees' green behavior through mediating organizational culture. In addition, organizational culture also has a significant effect on the green behavior of employees at PT. X. in Indonesia. The results of this study have important implications in the context of human resource management that cares for the environment. These results can assist companies in developing strategies to improve employees' green behavior and achieve sustainability goals.

Abstract

Internal Control System (SPI) weaknesses hamper government performance; Therefore, the concept of Risk-Based Internal Audit (RBIA) through risk determination techniques based on priority scales is thought to be able to improve the effectiveness of internal control in North Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of Professional Development, Top Management Commitment, and the Role of Internal Audit on Risk-Based Internal Audit (RBIA), as well as its impact on the Effectiveness of Internal Audit both directly and indirectly in North Company. Sumatra Provincial Inspectorate. This study took quantitative methods. The population of this study is the Functional Position of Internal Auditor and Local Government Affairs Supervisor (PPUPD) which amounts to 101 people, while the informant is a party who understands the implementation of RBIA, namely Auxiliary Inspectors. The sampling technique used is census, meaning that the entire population is sampled in the study. The test used a variant-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique. Professional Development, Top Management Commitment, and the Role of Internal Audit are variables that allegedly affect the success of RBIA implementation in improving Internal Audit Effectiveness. The results showed that Professional Development, Top Management Commitment, and the Role of Internal Audit had a significant positive effect on the successful implementation of risk management with the RBIA method. The implication of these findings is the importance of the role of Professional Development, Top Management Commitment, and the Role of Internal Audit in improving the effectiveness of internal control within local government.

Abstract

Most of the culinary tourism destinations in Palembang City have not opened to serve visitors since the Covid-19 pandemic occurred in early 2020. This has an impact on the intensity of tourist visits to culinary tourism destinations in Palembang City which has decreased. Then, decrease in the culinary experience, cleanliness, comfort of culinary tourism destinations, and destination management services. The purpose of the study was to analyze the connection between the experience of tourists, value perception, destination quality, satisfaction, and tourist loyalty. The type of research is quantitative research with a causality approach. The population of the study is local travelers who have come to culinary tourism destinations in Palembang at least 2 times.  Purposive sampling was used to determine the respondents with a sample of 216. Structural equations are used as a method of analysis.  The outcomes of the study explain that there is no linear association betwixt tourist experience and satisfaction of tourists. Value of perception, destination quality, and satisfaction of tourists are linearly related. Tourist experience, destination quality, and tourist loyalty are not linearly related. Value perception and tourist loyalty are linearly related. Then, tourist satisfaction and tourist loyalty are linearly related. This research can be a reference for tourist destination managers to maintain the loyalty of tourists visiting culinary tourism destinations, and become a reference for the next research in destination marketing.

Abstract

Growth in the number of LPDs is not followed by the amount of profit growth. There has been a decline in profit from 2020 to 2021. The decline in assets occurred by 3 percent until December 2020 compared to 2019. Meanwhile, in 2021 the decline in assets was 0.02 percent compared to 2021. A total of 130 LPDs were recorded as no longer operating. Until 2022, there are 36 LPDs experiencing legal problems due to a lack of employee integrity. This study was conducted to find answers to the question of how the influence of transformational leadership on employee integrity in LPDs in the Bali region. This study designed a quantitative approach. Quantitative analysis using structural equation model with PLS. The research was conducted in LPDs in nine regencies/cities in Bali Province with 1,437 units. The findings of this study are that the role of leadership in improving employee integrity is very important. Leadership acts as a driving force for employees so that employee integrity can be applied optimally in LPD. In building employee integrity, leaders must have a firm and straightforward commitment to support employees to apply good integrity in providing services to villagers, so that LPD can continue to develop sustainably, and employees have a sincere dedication to serving villagers.

Abstract

Today's marketing 4.0 affects the way consumers purchase decisions. Therefore, it needs to find out factors that can increase purchase decisions. This research aims to determine social media and website marketing on TAM with the use of TAM as a mediating variable. This research is quantitative research conducted on 100 random consumers using simple random sampling. Meanwhile, the data is collected using a questionnaire spread along consumers that are considering and who already have a motorcycle in Semarang City and analyzed using a Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach assisted by smart PLS applications. From the results, it is seen that there is a relationship between TAM on purchase decision, website marketing on purchase decision, social media and website marketing on TAM, and the relationship between social media and website marketing is increased through TAM. Therefore, every company needs to maximally enhance its website marketing and TAM to have consumers check out the products that the company owns. However, because this research only involves three variables to enhance the purchase edition, further research that involves other variables needs to be conducted.

Abstract

In order to maintain the integrity of the welfare of the Indonesian people after the COVID-19 pandemic, the creative economy in Indonesia will continue to survive and develop as the foundation of people's lives. For this reason, this research was conducted. The focus of the study in this study was to analyze the typology of the social network of creative economic actors in the Tourism Destination Area of Padang City. This research combines two approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative approaches, which is called a mixed methods approach. Data collection techniques were carried out in several ways, namely by observation, in-depth interviews, document studies and survey techniques or structured interviews. This research focuses on the creative economy sub-sectors in the fields of crafts, music and culinary. The unit of analysis is at the individual and group levels of creative economy actors in the tourist destination area of Padang City, West Sumatra. The results showed that the highest creative economy sub-sector in the tourist destination of Padang City was crafts by 33 percent, music and culinary 23 percent. Creative economy actors strengthen social networks through kinship, friendship and digital or social media. In general, these strengths strengthen ties in marketing and ties only at the micro level. The conclusion of this study is that the social networks carried out by EKRAF actors are still in primordial bonds.

Abstract

Staff is responsible for ensuring that all regulations in an agency are followed. Due to indiscipline, work productivity frequently fails to reach work achievement targets. This study aims to reveal the work discipline of staff in the information technology unit and a database based on work output. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a case study approach. The informants in this study were staff of the information technology unit and database, totalling three people. The researcher is the key instrument in collecting and interpreting the data in this study. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and document studies. Data analysis techniques in this study using Nvivo Plus version 11 software include data input, coding, exploration, visualization, and presentation. This study found that staff work discipline was perfect, as evidenced by the online presence of incoming and outgoing hours on time. Timeliness in data reporting can be completed on time if all the data available in the Siakad application is fixed and complete. The target of achieving work output from Pddikti data reporting is still at 80%. There are still many obstacles and problems that occur in data reporting. Efforts to improve and evaluate work output in the form of Pddikti data reporting have been carried out by all parties.

Abstract

The increasingly rapid business competition makes every business actor required to continue to innovate in order to develop and maintain their existence. One alternative for business actors to continue to develop and maintain their existence is to apply the 7P marketing mix to their business, especially in urban farming. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the 7P marketing mix on processed agricultural products as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the 7P marketing mix. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and FGD, for data analysis used coding techniques. There are 4 informants in this study. The results of this study indicate that in general, the 7P marketing mix for the processed products of the Orchid Women Farmer Group has been implemented. Then for the supporting factors for implementing the 7P marketing mix, namely (1) self-confidence; (2) cooperation; (3) encouragement from agricultural extension workers. The inhibiting factors include (1) lack of literacy; and (2) limited time. All elements of the marketing mix in the processed products of the Orchid Women Farmer Group are considered capable of increasing product sales and making the Orchid Women Farmer Group more exist and known. However, in the implementation process, there are several supporting and inhibiting factors as described in the research results.

Abstract

As an innovation in the field of technology and communication, the development of the internet in Indonesia continues to increase every year. The development of increasingly sophisticated technology causes this with the many features of online buying and selling applications. This study aims to analyze the obstacles and constraints of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in joining online stores, considering the development of the internet and increasingly sophisticated technology. The type of research used is qualitative observation with the object of research being Agreed Village, a assisted village of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Mulawarman University. Agreed Village was chosen because of the large number of MSMEs in the inland fisheries sector and is part of MSMEs in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Data was collected through interviews with respondents who had experience in using or not using online stores. The data is then analyzed qualitatively. The main result of this study is the identification of obstacles and obstacles faced by MSMEs in joining online stores. The conclusion of this study is that the ease and efficiency of online transactions are the main factors in people's preferences in using online stores. The implication of this research is the importance of online business digitalization development strategies for MSMEs by considering the principles of good business rules and ethics.
