Abstract

This paper aims to reveal the application of Blue Print Model in the national cocoa movement program in Indonesia. This model compares the achievement of targets with expectations. The study was carried out by comparing targets to be achieved with targets obtained on three variables: seed rejuvenation, side-grafting activities, and intensification of cocoa plants. The results show that the target obtained is different from the expected target in the three variables. This means that the implementation of Blue Print Model in the national cocoa movement program was unsuccessful. However, with the integration of supply chain factors and blur print performance (BPP) measures, it is found that there is a significant relationship between the both. Meanwhile, some factors of supply chain have also shown their insignificant influence on the value of BPP.

Abstract

There have been several research articles focusing on halal food product, but still a few focuses on the Iberian Peninsula region. This study aims to observe society' purchase intention on halal food product in Spain. As an empirical study involving 228 respondents in Spain, this study applies the theory of planned behavior (TPB) using statistical approach of structural equation modeling technique. This study reveals that purchase intention of halal food among Spanish Muslim society are more influenced by the attitude and subjective norm, while behavioral control is not seen as an influential factor in this caseKeywords Halal Food, Halal Marketing, Theory of Planned Behaviour

Abstract

Abstract- This paper provides a review of the relevant factors for achieving performance as an entrepreneur in the position of supply chain manager. Findings from recent literature suggests that at least five factors play a major role entrepreneurial supply chain management competence, namely innovation orientation, risk-taking characteristics, pro-activeness orientation, relational capital, and coordination capability. Several potential causes of business failure are also identified, including lack of planification and problems with the suppliers.  A careful consideration of the practical implications of these findings may help supply chain managers improve the performance of their business.

Abstract

At the current stage quality of emergency medical services (EMS) implies not only the professionalism of paramedics, but also the timeliness of their provision. The methods that allow for minimization of the patient’s waiting time for assistance are acquiring particular relevance. The purpose of this paper is to identify factors increasing the waiting time of EMS and prove the need to implement recommendations given on the reverse side of the first aid alert sheet for the citizens after calling an ambulance. The paper analyzes operation of Vladivostok EMS during 2016 – 2018 based on the data of the annual statistics report. In the process of solving these tasks of the thesis, the following research methods were used: analytical, descriptive, comparative, observation, simulation and generalization. nine ambulance crew shifts in Vladivostok city were studied with the help of observation and simulation methods. The results of this study were used as a basis for calculating time, which could be shortened in case if patients use our recommendations. The factors negatively affecting the delivery time of emergency medical service are drafted. The measures that can increase delivery of a quality medical service are offered. The developed recommendations can reduce time spent by an ambulance crew on the call, and improve efficiency of interaction between the ambulance crew and the patient.

Abstract

Objective of this study is to examine the role of employee pay, job security and sales force motivation to expediate supply chain performance (SCP). For this purpose, Indonesian distribution companies were selected, and employees of these companies were preferred as the respondents of the study. Questionnaires were distributed among the employees of distribution companies with the help of cluster sampling. Five hypotheses were developed in this study with the help of previous studies. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to test the hypotheses. It is found that employee’s pay and higher job security are the most important factors which has significant contribution to the motivation of sales force. Results of the study highlighted that employee pay, job security and sales force motivation have positive effect on SCP. Better the employee’s pay and higher job security lead to the sales force motivation which shows positive effect on SCP. Therefore, Indonesian distribution companies should focus on employee pay, job security and sales force motivation to enhance SCP.

Abstract

A survey report of the Vietnam Urban Environment and Industrial Zone Association reveals that every day in 2009, about 1,000 tons of construction waste were generated in Hanoi and 2,000 tons Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. It is forecasted that the coming years would see a vigorously growing amount of construction waste as a result of the plan to dismantle and renovate old apartment buildings in major cities. So, in this research we developed a supply chain management strategy for the waste controlling in the construction industry. While the bulky volume of construction wastes poses a great environmental threat to urban areas, response to it remains meager. Hence, this paper presents four primary factors affecting the management of construction wastes in Vietnam using fuzzy logic.
