Abstract

Antanan (Centella asiatica L.) is a plant that has high nutritional content and active compounds that are beneficial for health. This research aims to determine the effect of doses of chicken manure and planting media on the growth and production of antanan. The research used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor is the composition of the planting medium which consists of four levels, namely: M1 (100% soil = 980g), M2 (50% soil = 490g, 50% husk charcoal = 125g), M3 (75% soil = 735g, 25% husk charcoal = 62 g), M4, (25% soil = 245g, 75% husk charcoal = 187g). The second factor is the dose of chicken manure consisting of five levels, namely: P2 (100% chicken manure = 133g), P4 (75% chicken manure = 100g), P6 (50% chicken manure = 67g), P8 (25% chicken manure = 33g), P10 (15% chicken manure = 20g). The results of the research showed that the dose of chicken manure and the composition of the planting media had a significant effect on the growth and production of antanan plants. A dose of 100% chicken manure resulted in better growth in leaf area, number of leaves, dry weight and fresh weight of the crown, dry weight and fresh weight of plant stover, as well as root dry weight compared to other treatments. In the mixed planting media composition treatment of 75% soil + 25% husk charcoal, the value of the stolon length of antanan plants was better compared to other media compositions, while for the root length variable the best value was shown in the planting media composition of 25% soil + 75% husk charcoal.

Abstract

Porang (Amorphophalus Muelleri) is a tuber plant from Araceae family that is easily live in various types and soil condition. In the food industry porang flour is used as a thickening agent, emulsion stabilizer and gel former, while in the pharmaceutical industry it is used as a coating material. This was do the increased in demand for exports of porang tubers in the form of flour and chips. The increasing demand for porang, so that porang cultivation has economic value. The selection of the appropriate fertilizer is one of the efforts to increase porang productivity. Therfore, the aim of this research was to obtain the scintific data about interaction of organic waste market fertilizerand growmore fertilizer toward of vegetative growth of porang plant. This research used RAL Factorial have 2 factor with 3 treatments level each others were the first factor is doses of organic waste market fertilizer (0g/polybag, 200 g/polybag and 400 g/polybag) and the second factor is doses of growmore fertilizer (0 g/l, 1 g/l and 2 g/l). The parameters in this research were plant height, petiole diameter, number of petioles and number of lateral roots of porang plant. The result on this research showed that interaction of organic waste market fertilizer and growmore fertilizer was signicantly affected of plant height, petiole diameter and number of lateral roots, but did not significantly affected of number of porang petioles. The best treatment obtained from interaction of organic waste market fertilizer at dosage 400g/polybag and growmore fertilizer at a dosage 1g/l.

Abstract

Cultivation of lemons needs to be increased due to the increasing demand for lemons. This requires a large amount of seedling. One alternative material for cuttings for lemongrass nurseries with lots of supplies is leaf cuttings. The aims of this study were to determine the effect of onion extract concentration on the growth of leaf cuttings and to determine the best concentration of shallot extract on the growth of leaf cuttings. The experimental research was in the form of extract treatment, which consisted of 5 levels, namely control (without immersion), immersion in water, 10% onion extract, 20% onion extract and 30% shallot extract. Leaf cuttings were soaked in onion extract at various concentrations for 2 hours. The observed variables included the percentage of living cuttings, the percentage of roots formed, the number of roots, the length of the roots, the percentage of damaged leaves, the percentage of shoots formed and the length of shoots. All treatments showed 100% survival rate and root formation percentage. Treatment of 20% onion extract can increase the number of roots, root length, percentage of shoots formed and shoot length from lemon lime leaf cuttings at 60 days after observation. The results of this study provide information that cuttings from leaves can be used as an alternative in the vegetative propagation of lemon and onion extracts as an alternative to growth regulators.

Abstract

The relationship between farmers and other agribusiness institutions is a form of performance of agribusiness institutions in achieving the desired goals. Although not all of these relationships are good, the connectedness of farmers with other institutions is tied to the relationship of mutual need. This then raises the question, whether sustainability is based on satisfaction or is it just a mere economic motive. Based on this background, the objectives of this study are: 1) identifying agribusiness institutions connected to farmers in Talungeng Village, Barebbo District, Bone Regency, 2) analyzing the performance of agribusiness institutions in Talungeng Village, Barebbo District, Bone Regency, 3) analyzing farmer satisfaction with the performance of agribusiness institutions in Talungeng Village, Barebbo District, Bone Regency. The research will be conducted in Talungeng Village, Barebbo District, Bone Regency, considering that the area is an area that has good agricultural potential. In addition, the area is a Self-Sufficiency village where community access to facilities is sufficient, especially agribusiness institutions. The research will be carried out for 6 (six) months. Data that has been taken in the field will be analyzed using descriptive analysis, Importance Performance Analysis, and Consumer Satisfaction Index. The results showed that in running a farming business, farmers are in contact with several agribusiness institutions including farmer groups and farmer shops, mobile mills, collectors and agricultural extension workers. In general, the performance of agribusiness institutions is relatively good and meets the expectations of farmers. Farmers' satisfaction with the performance of agribusiness institutions is relatively good

Abstract

The research was conducted at KP2 of the Institut Pertanian Stiper located in Maguwoharjo Village, Depok District, Sleman Regency, DIY. With an elevation of 118 mpl. The research was conducted from August 4, 2022, to November 1, 2022. The research was carried out using a factorial design that was arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD) and consisted of two factors. The first factor was the planting medium, which consisted of 4 levels: M0, regosol soil (control); M1, soil + cow manure (2:1); M2, soil + rice husk (2:1); and M3, soil + cow manure + rice husk (1:1:1). The second factor is the origin of the cutting material, which consists of 3 levels, namely the top of the segment (B1), the middle stem of the segment (B2), and the rootstock of the segment (B3), and each is 15 cm long. So that 4 x 3 = 12 combinations are obtained. Each treatment was repeated five times, resulting in the acquisition of 60 units. Experiment The research data were analyzed by analysis of variance (Anova) at the 5% level. If there is a significant effect, a DMRT follow-up test is carried out at the 5% level. The planting medium and cutting material interacted with plant height, number of shoots, number of leaves, fresh weight of roots, and dry weight of plants. Meanwhile, for fresh weight of plants, dry weight of roots, and leaf width, there was no interaction between the planting medium and the cutting material.

Abstract

Sayuran hidroponik identik dengan sayuran sehat . Konsumsi sayuran juga dipengaruhi oleh kualitas sayur, baik bobot maupun bentuk fisik sayuran. Serangan hama pada sayuran hidroponik seperti pakcoy mempengaruhi kualitas sayuran hidroponik dari segi fisikUsaha yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini salah satunya dengan menggunakan pestisida.nabati tithonia. Penggunaan bahan pestisida nabati tersebut tentu perlu dilihat respon tanaman yang dibudidayakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan Pengujian respon pertumbuhandan poduksi tanaman pakcoy hidroponik dengan pemberian berbagai konsentrasi pestisida nabati. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Sebagai perlakuan yaitu (1) Tanpa pemberian pestisida nabati tithonia, (2) Pemberian 8% pestisida nabati tithonia, dan (3)Pemberian 15% pestisida nabati tithonia. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini antara lain Pemberian pestisida nabati tithonia dengan konsentrasi 15 persen setiap dua kali seminggu adalah metode terbaik untuk meningkatkan produksi berat segar dan intensitas serangan hama, namun, efeknya tidak nyata pada panjang, lebar, dan jumlah daun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan mutu fisik dan kadar karbohidrat pada berbegai umur panen, dan mengetahui umur panen optimum. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Metode Percobaan, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok. Perlakuan yang diuji yaitu umur panen : u1 (90 Hari Setelah Tanam = HST), u2 (95 HST), u3 (100 HST), u4 (105 HST), u5 (110 HST), u6 (115 HST), masing-masing diulang empat kali. Analisis data menggunakan Uji F melalui ANOVA, Uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) dan Analisis Regresi Linear Kuadratik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) pada tanaman padi sawah kultivar Mekongga, perbedaan umur saat panen akan mengakibatkan perbedaan terhadap mutu beras giling (persentase beras kepala, butir patah dan butir menir) serta kadar amilosa. (2) untuk memperoleh mutu beras giling dan kadar amilosa yang baik maka umur panen yang optimum untuk padi sawah kultivar Mekongga yaitu umur 102 sampai 105 HST.

Abstract

Maggot BSF memiliki kandungan protein yang hampir sama dengan tepung ikan sehingga bisa dijadikan pakan pengganti sumber protein. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh tepung ikan yang diganti dengan tepung maggot BSF(Hermetia Illucens) pada ransum terhadap karkas burung puyuh masa pertumbuhan. 60 ekor puyuh berumur 7 hari dengan bobot badan awal sebesar 22,25±4,23g yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dan dipelihara selama 35 hari, di kandang Prodi Peternakan Universitas Djuanda Bogor. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan 4 ulangan yang terdiri dari R0= Ransum terdiri dari 0% tepung maggot dan 16% tepung ikan, R1= Ransum terdiri dari 4% tepung maggot dan 12% tepung ikan, R2= Ransum terdiri dari 8% tepung maggot dan 8% tepung ikan, R3= Ransum terdiri dari 12% tepung maggot dan 4% tepung ikan, R4 = Ransum terdiri dari 16% tepung maggot dan 0% tepung ikan. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan uji duncan. Peubah yang diamati yaitu bobot potong (g), bobot karkas (g), persentase karkas(%), persentase dada (%), persentase sayap (%), persentase paha (%) dan persentase punggung(%). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa subtitusi tepung ikan dengan tepung maggot pada taraf 16% berbeda nyata (P˂0,05) terhadap bobot potong, bobot karkas, persentase dada dan persentase punggung. Namun tidak berbeda nyata (P˃0,05) terhadap persentase karkas, persentase sayap dan persentase paha. Subtitusi tepung ikan dengan tepung maggot dengan taraf 4 – 16% tidak dapat meningkatkan persentase karkas pada puyuh masa pertumbuhan

Abstract

Upaya peningkatan pertumbuhan, produksi dan kualitas edamame perlu memperhatikan aspek hama dan penyakit serta unsur hara yang dibutuhkan tanaman edamame. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi elisitor dan KNO3- terhadap pertumbuhan, produksi dan kualitas edamame (Glycine max (L.) Merr). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial yang terdiri atas dua faktor, yaitu konsentrasi elisitor dan KNO3. Elisitor terdiri atas 5 taraf, yaitu E0 (0 ml/l), E1 (10 ml/l), E2 (20 ml/l), E3 (30 ml/l) dan E4 (40 ml/l). KNO3- terdiri atas 5 taraf, yaitu K0 (0g/l), K1 (2g/l), K2 (4g/l), K3 (6g/l) dan K4 (8g/l). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian elisitor tidak berpengaruh terhadap semua peubah yang diamati. Pemberian konsentrasi 8 g/l KNO3- meningkatkan diameter batang, luas daun, bobot kering tajuk, jumlah bintil akar dan kadar kemanisan pada tanaman edamame dibandingkan dengan perlakuan konsentrasi KNO3- lainnya.

Abstract

Produk turunan labu madu unggulan IKM Al-Hidayah, di antaranya adalah stik labu madu, donat, kue pie dan nastar. Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa produk-produk tersebut merupakan produk yang saat ini tinggi pemesanannya sehingga berpotensi untuk dikembangkan. Meski begitu produk stik labu madu sudah terhitung secara rinci, hanya saja ada beberapa produk lain yang masih sementara memakai perhitungan kotor, oleh karena itu diperlukan data yang akurat mengenai seberapa besar keuntungan usaha yang diperoleh IKM Al-Hidayah pada produk tersebut, sehingga ada referensi mengenai penetapan harga jual dan target penjualan yang bisa dioptimalkan oleh IKM Al-Hidayah terhadap produk tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis kuantitatif yang menggunakan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerimaan yang dihasilkan dari ke empat produk labu madu tergantung jumlah produksi yang dihasilkan sebesar Rp 1.505.000 dan pendapatan yang diterima oleh IKM Al-Hidayah dalam 1 siklus produksi dengan hitungan 1 kg/produk yaitu sebesar Rp 667.352 dengan memiliki R/C rasio yang lebih dari 1 yakni pada produk stik sebesar 1.4, donat 1.7, kue pie 1.71, nastar 2, karena memiliki R/C rasio yang lebih besar keuntungannya dibanding produk labu madu yang lain. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ke empat produk labu madu pada IKM Al-Hidayah sangat layak untuk ditingkatkan. Hal ini akan menjadi informasi berguna bagi IKM Al-Hidayah yang bertujuan dalam menyusun strategi produksi dan penjualan produk turunan labu madu, juga dapat menarik investor lain agar dapat bekerja sama dengan IKM Al-Hidayah.
