Abstract

Research aim: This study aims to identify factors that influence brand image and strategies to strengthen the brand image of PT Laksmana Wira Solusi. Design/Methods/Approach: This study uses a qualitative approach with data analysis techniques, namely SWOT analysis. Research Finding: The brand image of PT Laksmana Wira Solusi is influenced by internal factors such as innovation of the young team, flexibility, market specialisation, and weaknesses such as lack of experience, network, and marketing activities. External factors include opportunities from tourism growth, government support, and digital trends, but also face threats from competitors, regulatory changes, and low digital literacy in the region. Strengthening strategies are carried out through the development of sustainable digital services, focusing on niche markets, small project collaboration, increasing digital presence, and providing modular service packages. Theoretical Contribution/ Originality: This study provides theoretical contributions by raising the issue of brand image in a new tourism consulting company with a topic that has not been widely studied in previous literature. The originality of the study lies in the identification of brand image strengthening strategies in startups that have limited experience. The study also highlights the importance of a comprehensive approach in building brand image. The results of this study can be a reference for developing brand image in startup companies, especially consulting service companies, particularly those operating in the tourism sector. Practical/Policy implication: New tourism consulting firms need to focus on building a portfolio, maintaining service quality, utilising digital promotions, choosing a market niche, and establishing local collaborations to strengthen the brand image. Research limitation: This research is limited to one case study, namely PT Laksmana Wira Solusi, so it cannot be generalised to similar companies. The descriptive qualitative approach used has not quantitatively measured the influence of each factor on brand image. The number of informants is also still limited and has not involved a broader external perspective.

Abstract

Research aim: This study aims to evaluate the impact of product quality and electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) on repurchase intention, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. Methods: The sampling process was conducted using the purposive-accidental sampling method, and data were collected through an electronic questionnaire completed by 210 respondents. Data analysis was performed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) technique.Research Finding: The research findings indicate that product quality indirectly influences repurchase intention through customer satisfaction, while e-WOM does not have a significant effect in this relationship. Furthermore, customer satisfaction plays a crucial role in driving repurchase decisions.Theoretical contribution/Originality: These findings support the Expectancy-Disconfirmation Theory, which states that customer satisfaction arises when the received product or service meets or exceeds expectations. This study also aligns with the Theory of Planned Behavior, emphasizing that customer satisfaction can motivate individuals to make repeat purchases.Practitioner/Policy implication: The results of this study provide valuable insights for businesses in enhancing customer loyalty by ensuring optimal product quality and implementing effective marketing strategies to improve customer satisfaction and repurchase intention.Research limitation: This study is limited by its sampling method and the use of self-reported data, which may introduce bias. Future research could expand the sample and incorporate longitudinal or experimental designs to validate the findings further.

Abstract

Research aim: This study aims to examine the extent to which investment literacy can play a role in strengthening entrepreneurship in forming independent values.. Design/Methods/Approach: This study uses a qualitative approach method Research Finding: The results of investment literacy show that the level of student achievement in terms of material content and resource credibility, 3 schools responded very well, namely SMA DU 1, SMK Telkom DU and MA Ghozaliyah. Meanwhile, 3 schools gave good responses, namely SMK 1 DU, SMK Pancasila and MA Mamba`ul Ulum. The positive response given by students was not only from their understanding of investment, but also inclusion by becoming members (investors) in GI BEI Unipdu. Regarding student responses to media which acts as a means of supporting the achievement of understanding, all students responded well. Investment literacy activities can be carried out well because of the role of the school principal who really supports the realization of the value of independence Theoretical contribution/Originality: The novelty of this research lies in the finding that the younger generation is an asset that can be encouraged to boost economic growth through entrepreneurial activities. One such entrepreneurial activity, known as digital entrepreneurship, is investment, where investment education plays a crucial role in increasing student investment in the capital market. Practitioner/Policy implication: Further investment literacy activities can be conducted in a programmed, scheduled, and structured manner. Schools can collaborate with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) to further optimize investment literacy activities to achieve cognitive and psychomotor developmental milestones. Research limitation : This research only goes so far as to determine the level of student understanding.

Abstract

Research aim: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of financial and regional asset data reconciliation, analyze the obstacles in data entry, and assess the impact of delayed year-end reconciliation in Tegal Regency. Design/Methods/Approach: This research employs a survey method using closed-ended questionnaires distributed to 48 regional government organizations (OPDs), involving one experienced staff member from each OPD. The instrument was developed in consultation with the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), and the analysis was conducted descriptively. Research Findings: The effectiveness of reconciliation in the implementation of the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) has not been optimal due to inconsistencies in execution and data entry challenges, such as system access, training, and human resources (HR). Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study contributes to strengthening the integration of technology and public financial management to support accuracy and efficiency in regional governance. Practical Implications: It highlights the need to improve infrastructure, provide regular training, and implement supervision to ensure the reconciliation process runs effectively. Research Limitations: This study focuses on the context and sample in Tegal Regency; therefore, the findings cannot yet be generalized to other regions.

Abstract

Research aim: Examining the influence of training and work motivation on the performance of food processing SMEs, particularly in Tarakan, with an entrepreneurial orientation as a mediating mechanism based on the Resource-Based View (RBV) perspective. Design/Methods/Approach: This study uses a quantitative approach based on questionnaires for 25.4% of SMEs selected using purposive sampling. The data analyzed using SEM-PLS. Research Finding: The study found that training, as a human resource (HR) investment, does not directly enhance performance. Certain mechanisms are required for HR investment to have a tangible impact on performance. Theoretical contribution/Originality: This study enriches the RBV by explaining how human resources are transformed into valuable capabilities that impact performance when placing entrepreneurial orientation as the main mediator. Practitioner/Policy implication: Recommends more relevant and continuous training, along with efforts to boost work motivation to enhance MSME competitiveness. Research limitation: Focus is limited to food-processing MSMEs in Tarakan; the quantitative approach may not fully capture deeper contextual insights.

Abstract

Research aim : To develop a model of Tokopedia reuse intention based on information quality, system quality, service quality, interactivity, entertainment, promotion perception, and user satisfaction, on Generation Z in Bali Province Design/Methods/Approach : The analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through the use of Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) Research Finding : The results of the study show that satisfaction is able to mediate the influence of information quality, system quality, promotion perception, and entertainment on reuse intentions, but is unable to mediate the influence of service quality and interactivity on reuse intentions of Tokopedia for fashion products among Generation Z in Bali Province. Theoretical contribution/Originality : The theoretical implication of the results of this study is that it is able to validate the E-Commerce System Success (ESS) model from Wang et al. (2019). Originality of these research especially for interactivity has not been able to show results that have a significant relationship while the entertainment variable shows a positive and significant relationship to the intention to use Tokopedia Practitioner/Policy implication : The study's managerial ramifications include the need for Tokopedia E-Commerce developers and producers/sellers' management to focus on the factors of information quality, system quality, promotional perception, entertainment, and user satisfaction in order to boost users' intentions to use Tokopedia again. Research limitation : In light of the findings of this study, it is hoped that future researchers will carry out additional research by reexamining additional factors that affect the intention to reuse, applying alternative model theories, and broadening the sample size in order to support and generalize the findings of this study Novelty: This study uses new variables in the form of interactivity and entertainment based on the development of E-Commerce System Success using the Uses and Gratifications (U&G) theory approach

Abstract

Research aim : This study aims to examine the effects of perceived higher education support and entrepreneurial mindset on the entrepreneurial intentions of vocational higher education students in Bali, both individually and simultaneously. Design/Methods/Approach : A quantitative research design was employed using multiple linear regression analysis on data collected from vocational higher education students. Research Finding : The results demonstrate that perceived higher education support and entrepreneurial mindset each have a significant and positive effect on students’ entrepreneurial intentions, and their combined influence is stronger when examined simultaneously. Theoretical contribution/Originality : This study extends Social Cognitive Theory (SCT) by empirically integrating higher education support as a contextual factor and individual cognitive orientation (entrepreneurial mindset) within the context of vocational higher education. Unlike previous studies that predominantly focus on either personal traits or general educational environments, this research highlights the interactive role of institutional support as a contextual enabler shaping entrepreneurial cognition and intention among vocational students in a developing tourism-based economy. Practitioner : The findings suggest that vocational higher education institutions should strengthen entrepreneurship education through structured higher education support mechanisms, including business incubators, structured mentoring programs, and strategic partnerships with micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), to foster students’ entrepreneurial intentions. Research limitation : This study is limited to vocational higher education students in Bali; therefore, the findings may not be generalizable to students from other regions, academic levels, or non-vocational educational settings.

Abstract

Research aim : This study aims to analyze how stimuli in live streaming commerce—originating from both platform interactions and hosts—shape internal psychological states and trigger impulsive buying behavior among Generation Z women, utilizing the Stimulus–Organism–Response (S-O-R) framework. Design/Methods/Approach : A qualitative method with a phenomenological approach was employed to explore the subjective experiences and emotional engagement of informants. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews with 10 Generation Z women in Indonesia, selected via purposive and snowball sampling. The analysis followed a thematic process, mapping findings into the elements of stimulus, organism, and response. Research Finding : The findings indicate that stimuli do not directly drive impulsive buying but operate through psychological mediation. Time pressure and product demonstrations foster a flow experience, while the expertise and persuasiveness of hosts strengthen parasocial interaction. These psychological states reduce cognitive control and enhance emotional proximity, thereby accelerating impulsive purchasing decisions. Theoretical contribution/Originality : This study extends the S-O-R model by demonstrating the complementary roles of dual organisms—cognitive-affective and relational-social—within the live streaming commerce context. Practitioner/Policy implication : Practitioners should focus on managing interactive broadcast atmospheres, building host credibility, and strategically utilizing time pressure and personalized recommendations to optimize the shopping experience for the Generation Z female segment. Research limitation : Semi-structured interviews may produce complex responses that deviate from the focus, necessitating a more rigorous filtering and categorization process during analysis.

Abstract

Research aim : This study aims to analyze competitive strategies of food and beverage MSMEs in Madiun Municipality during the post-Covid-19 recovery period through entrepreneurial orientation, product innovation, and Instagram endorsements. Design/Methods/Approach : The research uses a quantitative descriptive method. A purposive sampling technique was employed to obtain 395 respondents from MSME owners. Data collection used questionnaires and interviews, while multiple linear regression was applied as the analytical technique. Research Finding : The results show that product innovation and Instagram endorsements significantly affect competitive strategy, while entrepreneurial orientation does not. Simultaneously, entrepreneurial orientation, product innovation, and Instagram endorsements together influence competitive strategies. Theoretical contribution/Originality : The study strengthens the role of social media marketing and product innovation in shaping MSME competitive strategies post-pandemic, while questioning the traditional assumption that entrepreneurial orientation always plays a dominant role. Practitioner/Policy implication : MSME actors are advised to continue innovating products and using social media endorsements to maintain competitiveness. Policy support should focus on digital transformation and capacity building for SMEs. Research limitation : This study is limited to the food and beverage MSME sector in Madiun City. Broader research is needed by comparing across regions and involving other factors such as market orientation and brand image.

Abstract

Research aim :  This study examines the investment behavior of SMEs in Bengkalis, Indonesia, focusing on paid content and professional endorsements as key digital marketing strategies. Design/Methods/Approach : A quantitative approach was employed, using surveys to collect data from 100 SME owners. Hypothesis testing was conducted to analyze the influence of digital skills, endorsement credibility, and capital on investment decisions. Research Finding : The findings reveal that digital skills and endorsement credibility significantly influence investment in paid content, with digital skills having the strongest positive effect. Capital does not significantly affect investment decisions. Theoretical contribution/Originality : This research contributes to the literature by expanding existing digital marketing adoption theories, particularly in the context of SMEs, and exploring the role of digital skills and endorsement credibility in shaping investment behavior. Practitioner/Policy implication : For practitioners, the study highlights the importance of enhancing digital skills and partnering with credible endorsers. Policymakers can design support programs to help SMEs overcome barriers to effective digital marketing. Research limitation : The study is limited to SMEs in Bengkalis, which may not fully represent the broader context of Indonesian SMEs.
