Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Profitability, Working Capital Turn Over (WCTO) and Firm Size on Capital Structure with World Oil Prices as a Moderating Variable in Petroleum and Natural Gas Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019 - 2023. The population of this research was 29 companies, using purposive sampling techniques to obtain a research sample of 13 companies and observation data of 65 companies. This research is a quantitative research using panel data regression analysis methods and Moderated Regression Analysis using Eviews 13. The partial research results show that Profitability has a significant negative effect on Capital Structure, Working Capital Turn Over (WCTO) and Company Size has a significant positive effect on Capital Structure and World Oil Prices have no effect on Capital Structure. Simultaneous Profit, Working Capital Turn Over (WCTO) and Firm Size together have an influence on Capital Structure. Apart from that, World Oil Prices weaken the influence of Profitability and Working Capital Turnover (WCTO) on Capital Structure and strengthen the influence of Firm Size on Capital Structure.

Abstract

era of rapid advancements in science, technology, and cultural dynamics, significant shifts have occurred in various aspects of human life, such as ideology, society, economy, arts, and morals. These changes have influenced the values within society, with materialism and hedonism becoming more prevalent. While such value changes can bring positive outcomes, they also lead to negative behaviors, including criminal actions. The increasing criminal activity in Indonesia has become a serious concern, with high crime rates that demand attention from both the government and law enforcement agencies. This study aims to analyze the relationship between crime and economic conditions across 34 provinces in Indonesia, focusing on the impact of economic components such as consumption patterns, unemployment, the quality of human resources (measured through education), and population density on crime rates in Indonesia from 2018 to 2022. The findings of the study indicate that unemployment, low human resource quality reflected in education levels, and population density are significant factors influencing crime rates in Indonesia. Economically, unemployment and poor educational quality are the primary drivers of criminal behavior. Additionally, high population density exacerbates the situation, as densely populated areas tend to experience social tension and conflicts that can trigger criminal acts. Therefore, to reduce crime rates, coordinated efforts are required, including improving educational quality, providing more job opportunities, managing population density, and enhancing the economic well-being of society. This study highlights the importance of government and related institutions in creating policies to address the economic factors contributing to crime, in order to build a safer and more prosperous society.

Abstract

This posts specifically examines perceptions of planning in supply chain management to maintain consistent quality of implementation in SME Bandung Raya. This study aims to determine the relationship between variables when applied to small food and beverage businesses, as well as provide recommendations for increasing business competitiveness to business actors and stakeholders related to SMEs in Bandung Raya. The lack of research on SMEs related to Supply Chain Quality Management (SCQM), Quality Performance, and Strategic Planning is the background for this study. The results of the literature review show that strategic planning is related to SCQM, but it has not been strongly proven empirically, especially in SMEs. The study method uses a quantitative approach and explanatory descriptive analysis, carried out on small food and beverage category businesses in Bandung Raya with a sample of 150 SMEs. The research results gave rise to a concept or model that is already strong. The influence of strategic planning on SCQM was recorded as significant at 0.887. The influence of SCQM on quality performance is significant at 0.829. The influence of strategic planning on quality performance through SCQM is significant at 0.736. SME perceptions are similar to those of strategic planning, and SCQM concludes that inadequate assessment, strategic communication, and the purpose and worth of SME goods can all contribute to this influence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of influencers in shaping consumer well-being to increase purchase intention. The instrument used to measure the research variables has passed the validity and reliability tests. Sampling was carried out using the non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. The respondent criteria in this study were men who were followers of social media influencers of men's skincare products in the past month. A total of 206 respondents who met the criteria had filled out the questionnaire online via Google Form. The data obtained were processed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis method using AMOS software. The results of this study indicate that trustworthiness has a positive effect on stickiness in influencer posts, then stickiness in influencer posts has a positive effect on hedonic well-being and eudaimonic well-being, and ultimately consumer eudaimonic well-being has a positive effect on purchase intention. Therefore, managers can utilize the role of trusted influencers to increase consumer attachment and eudaimonic well-being which can ultimately increase purchase intention. However, this study found that physical attractiveness and expertise did not have a positive effect on stickiness in influencer posts. Consumer hedonic well-being also does not have a positive effect on purchase intention. Based on these findings, it is suggested that future research add gender and influencer reputation variables as moderating variables and add attitude variables toward influencers as mediating variables in the conceptual framework so that the research model becomes more comprehensive.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Leverage Multiplier, Interest Expense Ratio, Banking Ratio on Return on Assets at BPR in Central Java in 2019-2023. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis of panel data. The research results show that the average value of the Leverage Multiplier has decreased, which is balanced by a decrease in Return On Assets, which indicates that BPR has experienced a decrease in efficiency in generating profits from the assets it owns, despite reducing debt. The Interest Expense Ratio shows that interest costs are increasing, while the company's ability to generate profits is decreasing. Banking Ratio is decreasing in balance with ROA continuing to decline, this reflects a situation where BPR is more focused on increasing liquidity but this is not managed well

Abstract

Detecting potential financial reporting fraud in the IDX-listed real estate and property firms between 2019 and 2023, this study applies the Fraud Pentagon Theory. Five components of fraud are identified by the model: leverage as a proxy for pressure, poor monitoring as a proxy for opportunity, rationalization as a proxy for auditor changes, capacity as a proxy for board changes, and hubris as a proxy for CEO duality. Family ownership is employed as a moderating variable to ascertain if it strengthens or weakens the correlation between financial statement fraud and the Fraud Pentagon components. SPSS version 25 was utilized to perform the logistic regression analysis in this quantitative investigation. The 58 businesses that comprise the sample were chosen through the use of purposeful sampling. The results show that while poor monitoring and auditor changes have a considerable favorable influence on financial statement fraud, leverage, board changes, and CEO duality have no discernible effect. Furthermore, family ownership cannot reduce the impact of other factors on fraud; it can only reduce the association between board changes and financial statement fraud. These results suggest that family ownership is not always effective in preventing financial statement fraud, especially in companies with high leverage or weak internal monitoring. This study recommends that future research consider other relevant variables for analyzing financial statement fraud. Keywords: Fraud Pentagon, Financial Statement Fraud, Family Ownership
