Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted all countries around the world, including Indonesia. The COVID-19 pandemic affects all sectors, especially the agrocomplex. As a strategic step to minimize the impact on the agricultural sector, it is necessary to have a digital transformation to support production stability. Digital media in agriculture can be used as a medium for consulting farmers with agricultural experts so there is validation of information obtained by farmers regarding problems in the field. This empowerment activity was conducted to increase the literacy skills of farmers on cultivation topics as a supporting system for food security during the COVID-19 pandemic. Klinik tanipanen was created to provide a medium for farmers to consult directly with agricultural experts. The topic problems are about cultivation techniques (upstream and farming), agroindustry, and marketing. Based on the activities that have been carried out, the majority of farmers' questions are about pests and diseases encountered in the field. Through this program, it is expected that farmers will be able to improve their literacy skills, thereby increasing their productivity and income.

Abstract

: Training on the shaping of banyan plants bonsai for the youth of Jami’ Mosque, Taman Kulon RT.001002, Wiroko Village, Tirtomoyo District, Wonogiri Regency. Team : Ahamad Rosyid, M.Pd.I, Prof. Dr. Suwarto, M.Pd dan Drs. Agus Purwanto, M.Pd. The purpose of this service is to give training and experience to youth members of Masjid Jami’ in Taman Kulon RT.001002, Wiroko Village, Tirtomoy District, Wonogiri Regency during the Covid – 19 pandemic. Methode that is used in this service is a discoursing and mentoring method. The material presented is the shaping bonsai on banyan plants. Discoursing focused on counseling and training was carried out during the practice of shaping banyan plant bonsai until monitoring the development of these banyan plant bonsai. The expected target from the counseling and training is an increase in understanding of the way to shape banyan plants bonsai by at least 20% among members of the Jami’ Mosque Youth Forum in Taman Kulon RT.001002, Wiroko Village, Tirtomoy District, Wonogiri Regency. The analysis of pre-test and post-test data showed that there was an increase in understanding among Jami’ Mosque Youth Forum in the shaping of bonsai on banyan plants from an average score of 18 to 29 or an increase in understanding of 66%. In addition, it is also proven by the shape of the leaves on the banyan plants which are getting smaller, so it can be concluded that counseling and training on the shaping of banyan bonsai can be said to be successful.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melatih kemampuan motorik halus anak di TK Al-Hidayah Barabai melalui finger painting. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada hari Senin, 25 Oktober 2021 bertempat di TK Al-Hidayah Barabai, Hulu Sungai Tengah, Kalimantan Selatan. Jumlah peserta didik yang mengikuti kegiatan ini sebanyak enam orang yang berusia 5 sampai 6 tahun. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu: 1) Guru memperlihatkan gambar tentang kegiatan finger painting; 2) Guru dan anak menyediakan alat dan bahan; 3) Guru memberi contoh, cara dan langkah-langkah finger painting; 4) Anak mulai mencampur warna untuk mendapatkan warna yang diinginkan; 5) Anak meletakkan atau mencelupkan jari ke warna yang sudah disiapkan anak; 6) Anak melakukan berulang-ulang sampai kegiatan menggambar selesai. Instrumen penilaian untuk aspek motorik halus menggunakan unjuk kerja. Pencapaian anak pada saat kegiatan finger painting yaitu: (1) Anak mampu menggerakkan mata dan tangan melalui kegiatan finger painting; (2) Anak mampu melakukan pencampuran warna; (3) Anak mampu membentuk dengan rapi; (4) Anak mampu menunjukkan hasil karyanya. Rubrik Penilaian yaitu: BB (Belum berkembang dari semua pencapaian); MB (Mulai berkembang dari 1 pencapaian); BSH (Berkembang sesuai harapan dari 2-3 pencapaian); BSB (Berkembang sangat baik dari semua pencapaian). Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan motorik halus anak adalah sebesar 3,33 yang berada pada kriteria BSH (Berkembang Sesuai Harapan). Kegiatan melatih kemampuan motorik halus anak di TK Al-Hidayah Barabai melalui finger painting masih perlu dilakukan agar meningkat menjadi BSB (Berkembang Sangat Baik).

Abstract

Program 1000 desa sapi adalah upaya peningkatan populasi dan produktifitas ternak sapi dalam rangka swasembada daging untuk mencapai ketahanan pangan nasional. Salah satu desa yang menjadi pilot projek dari program ini adalah Desa Teruwai, Kecamatan Pujut, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah dengan nama kelompok “Tunas Karya II”. Kondisi yang ada pada kelompok tersebut adalah masih menerapkan sistem peternakan tradisional, dimana ternak sapi dipelihara dan diberi makan dengan pakan yang tidak berpedoman pada kecukupan kualitas nutrisi, sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya produktifitas sapi. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dilakukan pembinaan manajemen pakan dengan memberikan pelatihan penanaman pakan ternak berkualitas, pelatihan perawatan ternak, pelatihan pengolahan limbah ternak, serta pelatihan manajemen pengadaan pakan yang cukup dan berkualitas.. Hasil yang di dapat dengan adanya pelatihan-pelatihan yang dilakukan adalah: para peternak sudah mulai menggunakan sistem beternak yang lebih baik, memperbaiki kualitas pakan yang digunakan, mulai melakukan pengolahan limbah ternak sapi menjadi kompos dan biourine, serta dapat menerapkan manajemen pengadaan pakan yang optimal.

Abstract

Buah kakao adalah buah yang tidak memiliki musim, sehingga menjadi salah satu buah yang menghasilkan hasil panen yang tinggi setiap tahun di desa Medana, Kecamatan Tanjung, Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Hasil panen yang tinggi, berbanding lurus dengan limbah yang dihasilkan, yaitu kulit kakao. Permasalahan utama masyarakat desa Medana yaitu kurangnya pemahaman tentang mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan kulit buah kakao, sehingga hanya dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan ternak, bahkan sebagian besar merupakan limbah perkebunan yang hanya ditumpuk dan ditimbun. Kulit kakao mengandung senyawa fenolik, tanin, alkoloid, purin, dan coco butter. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa kulit kakao dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai produk olahan yang dapat dikonsumsi oleh manusia. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan yaitu untuk meningkatkan nilai ekonomi masyarakat desa Medana dengan memanfaatkan limbah kulit buah kakao menjadi produk olahan berupa kerupuk khususnya di desa Medana. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan metode survei dan wawancara dengan masyarakat setempat terkait untuk proses pengumpulan data. Proses selanjutnya yaitu sosialisasi dan pelatihan pemanfaatan kulit kakao yang akan diolah menjadi produk berupa kerupuk kulit kakao. Produk dibuat dengan alat dan bahan yang sederhana dan mudah diaplikasikan, sehingga mudah diterapkan oleh masyarakat desa Medana dari berbagai kalangan. Hasil produk didapatkan yaitu berupa kerupuk yang renyah serta mengembang setelah digoreng, selain itu, respon masyarakat sangat baik terhadap program yang telah dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is highly relevant learning with a 21st century paradigm and competency framework formulated in the Partnership for 21st Century Skills, where 21st century student outcomes include learning and innovation skills that include creativity and innovation skills, thinking critical, and problem solving skills. , communication and collaboration skills (Partnership for 21st Century Skills, 2008). Based on observations of student learning at SMKN 6 Mataram, it shows that student learning outcomes are low (60% of students have not yet completed studying chemistry), and based on a search for alumni in October 2021, the alumni unemployment rate reaches 59.72%, the Project-based learning model (PjBL) is one way to do this. to resolve the issue. The PjBL learning model has a positive influence in improving problem solving, critical thinking, and creativity (Selçuk et al., 2013). This is supported by Miftahurrohmah et al 2021 who said that project-based learning using Zoom Meetings can have a positive influence on creative thinking skills and mastery of concepts. Therefore, it is necessary to train on “The Effectiveness of Project-Based Chemistry Learning on Concept Understanding and Creative Thinking Skills for Vocational Students. The training was held at SMKN 6 Mataram in April 2022. The population in this study were all X grade students of SMKN 6 Mataram in the 2021/2022 academic year. The sampling technique in this training uses the "purposive sampling" technique. The sample to be taken is class X DPIB which uses a project-based learning model. This sampling is based on the material to be tested, namely acid and base. There are two variables in this training, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. The independent variable is a project-based learning model, where the project used is the identification of acids and bases on several building materials and materials that are often used in everyday life, while the dependent variable is mastery of concepts with six indicators, namely remembering, understanding, and understanding. apply (apply), analyze (analyze), evaluate (evaluate), create (create). and creative thinking skills with indicators of Fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. The type of data used in this training is quantitative data in the form of a Chemistry concept mastery test and a Creative Thinking Test. The effectiveness of the Project-based learning model for students of SMKN 6 Mataram on acid-base material can be determined by taking into account the pretest and posttest scores obtained by students. Based on the data obtained, it shows that project-based learning is effective in increasing students' understanding of concepts with a learning mastery percentage of 78%, and high effectiveness in improving students' creative thinking skills with an N gain of 81.79%.

Abstract

The Sustainable Food House Program (RPL) implemented by the Tematic KKN Group at the University of Mataram is one of the concepts of using non-productive home gardens both in rural and urban areas to support national food security by empowering local food potential. Especially those around areas that have narrow land which makes it difficult for residents who live in the area to meet their basic needs, such vegetables and fruits which are included in staple consumption for residents, one of the efforts to overcome this is by sharing knowledge. Along with experiences with residents such as planting methods and other new methods or breakthroughs. The purpose of implementing this RPL program is to be able to utilize and optimize non-productive land to become productive, improve the family economy, meet family food and nutritional needs, and overcome waste problems.

Abstract

Mekar Sari village has an region that is dominated by agricultural land and it has main agricultural products is rice. However, so far there are no further processing of these products so the economy value is still relatively low. For this reason, it is necessary to do further processing of products that made from rice with invasion and creativity that can increase the prices and develop community farming value products. Rice is a superior product in this village, one of the products made from rice and have intrest in community is rice crackers. The innovation applied to rice cracker products is by adding variants of flavor to rice crackers, so it is hoped that these products will be able to compete in the market. The training is carried out starting from the production process, packaging, to marketing. This training is carried out to produce rice crackers with a higher economy value which is expected to help improve the local community's economy.

Abstract

Serving fish is one type of fish that has economic value and is included in the resources of small pelagic fish. In North Maluku, Ternate, scad fish are caught using pajeko and bagang fishing gear, the catches obtained by fishermen are directly sold without any processing. Therefore, the activity of empowering the creative economy of the community through training in making scad fish jerky aims to increase knowledge and skills about processing scad fish into products that are durable and quality is maintained and get products that have different flavors. In this activity, the participants came from Jambula Village, District of South Ternate City, which consisted of 25 people and consisted of 3 business groups. The method of carrying out this activity is by practicing surgery, washing, drying, mixing spices and blanching and drying carried out by participants by utilizing the materials provided. The results obtained from this activity are that the participants can master the technology of processing fish into processed products that have different tastes, and can improve the community's economy.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi WhatsApp di SMPN 1 Labuapi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah metode ceramah, studi kasus, dan metode penugasan. Tahap pertama, metode ceramah digunakan untuk menjelaskan dan memberi pemahaman teori-teori, prinsip-prinsip, dan konsep-konsep melalui pemberian contoh-contoh terkait media-media pembelajaran berbasis online atau daring. Tahap kedua, studi kasus, yaitu guru-guru diberikan kasus-kasus atau permasalahan yang ada pada pembelajaran. Tahap ketiga, guru-guru diminta atau ditugasi untuk menganalisis kasus atau permasalahan pembelajaran. Tahap keempat, tugas peserta dikomunikasikan kepada peserta pelatihan untuk diperhatikan dan dicermati. Tahap kelima, untuk mengetahui pendapat para guru terkait penggunaan WhatsApp dalam pembelajaran daring, Tim Pengabdian memberikan angket isian untuk dinilai dan dipresentasikan hasilnya. Dari hasil angket yang diisi oleh guru dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk mempermudah pembelajaran secara daring, sebanyak (95%) responden menyatakan bahwa Grup WhatsApp efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran daring. Proses belajar mengajar dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi saat ini, terlebih saat pandemi COVID-19, sangat membantu guru dalam menjelaskan materi kepada para peserta didiknya. Pembelajaran dengan cara seperti ini dapat dilakukan di mana saja tanpa terkendala terkait waktu dan ruang.
