Abstract

Research This study aims to determine students' conceptual understanding abilities through an inquiry approach. The type of research used is quantitative with a one case shoot study treatment design. The subjects in this study were 30 students of class XI IPA 2 at SMA Negeri 14 Palembang. The data collection technique in this study is test data. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive statistics. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that students' conceptual comprehension abilities through an inquiry approach to sequences and series material in class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 14 Palembang have a good average. This can be seen from the results of the study, namely the average final test score for students' conceptual understanding ability was 75.50.

Abstract

Arabic is one of the languages that are used widely in the world. Where Islam developed, Arabic also developed. The role of Arabic is so big because it is a religious language in this part of the world. Learning strategy is needed because it is an important part of learning. Learning strategies can help students understand the meaning explained by the teacher more quickly. In this article the researcher uses the library research method. And the data collection used is from various literature, journal notebooks, Google Scholar and other references. The ability to manage Arabic learning is needed by teachers when teaching Arabic. Because he is the key to the success of the process of learning Arabic. And achieving the goals of learning Arabic is largely determined by the learning method. A teacher must be able to manage the Arabic learning process in terms of selecting methods, applying methods, managing classes, and using learning media. The strategy for managing the Arabic language learning method is by mastering various methods that are in accordance with the character of the diversity of students in the class and in accordance with the material and skills of the Arabic language being taught.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategic management of improving the quality of education in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School of Cordova Samarinda. In this qualitative study, data were obtained through in-depth interviews with school principals, vice principals for curriculum, vice principals for student affairs and teachers. Data were collected by observation, interview and documentation methods and then analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The study results show that the school has analysed internal and external factors to determine a strategic program concerning eight national education standards and the unique educational standards of integrated Islamic school networks. These standards are reflected in work programs, including extracurricular programs and personality development programs for teachers and students. These programs are evaluated through supervision activities and school meetings to achieve common goals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the company's financial condition and debt default on the going concern audit opinions on transportation service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019-2021. This type of research is a quantitative research using secondary data that can be accessed from the personal website of a transportation sub-sector service company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research uses the purposive sampling method, namely by taking samples from the population based on certain criteria. The research sample based on the criteria amounted to 12 companies with a research period of 3 years, so a total sample of 36 companies' financial statement data. The data analysis method used in this study is a statistical method using logistic regression equations. Data analysis begins with processing data with Microsoft Excel, then logistic regression testing is carried out using SPSS version 23 software. The results of this study indicate that the company's financial condition affects the going concern audit opinion; Debt default does not affect the going concern audit opinion; The company's financial condition and debt default simultaneously affect the going concern audit opinion.

Abstract

Batik is one of the many Indonesian cultural heritages worldwide and has become a hallmark of Indonesian society. Every Batik contains meaning. Meaning in signs is also called semiotics. This article aims to clarify the semiotic meaning of the colors and motives of the Riau Islands Batik. The researcher took the data from the interpretation of the Riau Islands' cultural symbols by the locals. In clarifying the data, the researcher was done by using qualitative methods. The result showed the semiotic meaning of Batik and how the interpretation of the Riau Islands recognized the cultural values of Batik. For practical purposes, the research results are expected to promote the culture of the Riau Islands and its characteristics for Indonesia and the international community. It is also hoped to provide knowledge about the ornaments of Riau Island to the community, especially the people of the Riau Islands, so that the cultural heritage is not lost. The data were analyzed by using Charles Sanders Pierce.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand image and service quality on consumer satisfaction. The method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative statistics, the source of the data in this study comes from primary data obtained through the process of distributing questionnaires which are then carried out statistical tests with the SPSS program and secondary data using target data and actual sales of J&T Express Botania 2 shipping services Batam City for the 2017-2021 period. Samples were taken as many as 100 respondents using accidental sampling technique. Data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis using validity test, reliability test and simple and multiple linear regression analysis. The test results in this study indicate that partially the brand image variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction (Y). Partially, the service quality variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction (Y). And simultaneously brand image (X1) and service quality (X2) have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction (Y).

Abstract

Schools have an important role to paint the intellect and spirituality of a child. The spirituality of a student can be well formed by reading the Qur'an, because the Qur'an not only teaches how to worship Allah but also how to be civilized with other living things.This study aims to examine the competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru in improving students' ability to read and write the Qur'an, the supporting and inhibiting factors as well as the solutions offered to improve students' ability to read and write the Al-Qur'an. an. The subjects in this study were students of SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. The method in this study used descriptive qualitative. Data was collected through observation, documentation and interview methods. Interviews were conducted with 4 teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. The results of the study show that 1) the competence of PAI teachers at SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru is realized by making a lesson plan outlined by the government using the independent curriculum form, the learning method used is the wahdah bil kitabah method and the iqra method; 3) the supporting factors for the implementation of PAI learning consist of teachers, students, and the school environment; 4) The obstacles encountered were the learning time to read and write the Al-Qur'an which was short, only 2 hours of lessons, the lack of learning media to read and write the Al-Qur'an and the background of the students; 5) The solution offered is the Al-Qur'an reading and writing learning method which is applied must consider the characteristics of students and the use of audio-visual learning methods.

Abstract

Microsoft (MS) PowerPoint is one of the learning tools that is frequently used in learning activities at SMP Labor UNKLAB. This study was conducted to find out the effectiveness of using PowerPoint media in online classes for Social Sciences (IPS) subject at SMP Labor UNKLAB. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using mean value and percentage to measure the effectiveness of PowerPoint in online learning. A total of 64 students of grade IX participated in this study by filling out a questionnaire which was distributed online using Google Form. The results of data processing using statistical and descriptive frequency methods found that MS PowerPoint was proven to be effective in its use in online learning, especially in social studies subjects. The results of the study support several previous studies related to this topic as well as provide information and input to several parties regarding the use of MS PowerPoint in online learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify (1) Implementation of learning tahfidz Al-Qur'an using the tasmi' method (2) Supporting and inhibiting factors for learning tahfidz Al-Qur'an using the tasmi' method. This study uses a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. Researchers collect data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The technique of guaranteeing the validity of the data is by using source triangulation. Based on the results of the research that the researchers conducted, it can be interpreted that: 1) Implementation consists of planning, implementation, and evaluation, namely (a) Planning for learning Alqur'an tahfidz using the tasmi' method consists of 4 steps, namely planning objectives, materials, methods used will be carried out and assessed. (b) The implementation of learning Al-Qur'an tahfidz using the tasmi' method is that students do tasmi' when they have memorized 5 corners/pages. For tasmi' 1 juz, there are 4 meetings. Learning activities are carried out 2 times a week. (c) Evaluation of Al-Qur'an tahfidz learning using the tasmi' method is carried out by evaluating the objectives, materials, methods, and assessment of its implementation. 2) The supporting factors and inhibiting factors in learning tahfidz Al-Qur'an using the tasmi' method come from students, namely intelligence, intention, and willingness to memorize the Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

Channa fish is a predatory fish species that lives in fresh water and is a type of fish that is popular with the public to serve as food and ornamental fish for pets. There are several types of fish that are not so difficult to find, so they are often used as food by the community, besides that there are also types of channa fish that are used as pets because they have attractive patterns and colors to be used as decorations. Channa fish are not difficult to reproduce, it is enough to pay attention to food and hormone administration. Apart from that, the benefits obtained are also quite large depending on the type of fish you want to cultivate.
