Abstract

Electronic “voting or e-voting is a form of voting that is usually used for elections or polls using electronic media. There is a shift in the use of media that used to be conventional and in the current technological era, there are many various media used for opinion polls, including social media/internet. In the next few years, through the USO (Universal Service Obligation) program, the government will provide voice and data communication access facilities to reach all villages in the country so that e-Voting is increasingly likely to be implemented. The E-Voting system is one way to help solve this problem. The security of the E-Voting system is guaranteed and in accordance with current technological developments. The system can be combined with various cryptographic algorithms to increase security, one of which is the AES cryptographic algorithm. Cryptography can be used to answer questions related to information security in the form of confidentiality, non-denial, and authentication. In this journal, it will be explained how to use cryptography in realizing information security in e-Voting in Medan City Using the AES Algorithm Method”.

Abstract

PT Kharisma Karya Kartika is a frozen meat processing company that has exported its products to various countries. Employees of PT Kharisma Karya Kartika are important human resources for the progress of a company. This study aims to determine the effect of communication, work discipline, and motivation on employee performance. The method used is a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data collection ie. by searching for secondary data through books, journals, articles, or websites that are available and reliable. The results showed that communication, work discipline and motivation have a significant effect on employee performance. Employee performance is increasing along with motivation and work discipline and effective communication

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out what the guidance and counseling teacher's efforts are in dealing with students who are addicted to online games in students of SMPN 3 Harau District, Fifty City District. The purpose of this research is to add insight into the efforts of guidance and counseling teachers in dealing with students who are addicted to online games. This type of research is field research (Field Research) with a qualitative descriptive method, namely research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and the observed behavior. The informants in this study were divided into two, namely key informants and supporting informants. Guidance and counseling teacher key informants, four student support informants. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the efforts of guidance and counseling teachers in dealing with students who are addicted to online games are using curative efforts. Curative effort is an activity or a series of treatment activities to overcome a problem that occurs. In curative efforts there is an alleviation function, where the alleviation function is an effort made to overcome problems through guidance and counseling services with the aim that deviant behavior does not occur again. Curative efforts are provided through basic services with individual counseling strategies, providing educational punishments to students and collaborating with related parties.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe: 1). the influence of the principal's managerial competence on teacher performance; 2) the influence of the principal's leadership style on teacher performance, 3) the effect of managerial competence and the leadership style of the principal on the performance of vocational school teachers in East Baturaja District. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population and sample in this study were 144 teachers at SMK East Baturaja, with the sample technique used was total sampling. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using simple linear and multiple linear regression formulas using the SPSS (Statistical Product and Services Solution) program. The results of the study show that: 1) There is a significant influence on the managerial competence of school principals on the performance of vocational school teachers in East Baturaja District; 2) There is a significant influence of the principal's leadership style on the performance of SMK teachers in East Baturaja District; 3) There is a significant influence of managerial competence and leadership style of the principal on the performance of vocational school teachers in East Baturaja District. This can be seen from the results of the F test which shows a significance value of 0.000 <0.005. The influence of managerial competence and the principal's leadership style on the performance of SMK teachers in East Baturaja District is 38.1%, the remaining 61.9% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe: 1). the effect of academic supervision on teacher performance;2) the effect of teacher professionalism on teacher performance, 3) the effect of academic supervision and teacher professionalism on the performance of high school teachers in Lengkiti District. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population and sample in this study were 63 high school teachers in Lengkiti District, with the sample technique used was total sampling. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using simple linear and multiple linear regression formulas using the SPSS (Statistical Product and Services Solution) program. The results of the study show that: 1) There is a significant effect of academic supervision on the performance of high school teachers in Lengkiti District; 2) There is a significant influence of teacher professionalism on the performance of high school teachers in Lengkiti District; 3) There is a significant influence of academic supervision and teacher professionalism on the performance of high school teachers in Lengkiti District. This can be seen from the results of the F-test which shows a significance value of 0.000 <0.005. The influence of academic supervision and teacher professionalism together on teacher performance is 78.6%, the remaining 21.4% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Women entrepreneurs are one of the factors driving the household economy, because women entrepreneurs have a tenacious and persistent nature, have creativity, motivation, and innovation which can later advance MSMEs in Indonesia. Women entrepreneurs make a significant contribution to the economy in terms of job creation, skills development, and poverty alleviation. Entrepreneurs are able to compete with male entrepreneurs. By utilizing existing social media, women entrepreneurs are more innovative, creative, and efficient in using their time and are able to balance their time between work, household and also the business they run. Social media, e-commerce make them sell more of the items they promote with online shop trends in the digital marketing world.

Abstract

Long Distance Marriage or also called long-distance marriage, is a familiar phenomenon, including in Indonesia. Long Distance Marriage describes a situation where couples are physically separated. One partner has to go elsewhere for specific purposes, such as work, or the other partner has to stay at home or in their area of ​​origin. Long-distance marriages also cause many wives to experience loneliness because their husbands have left them for months. Physical separation from people considered close is often a painful experience and can affect almost every aspect of life.This study aims to determine the relationship between marital satisfaction and conflict resolution in long-distance marriage couples. This study uses a quantitative correlational method. The data collection technique used the purposive sampling method, determining the sample with specific considerations. The number of participants in this study was 66 out of a total population of 260, with criteria including Married men/women, under 40 years of age and undergoing long-distance marriages.The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between marital satisfaction and conflict resolution. This is indicated by the coefficient values ​​of the two variables, namely Rxy = 0.246 with FCount = 4.123 (FCount>3.986) and P = 0.046 (p <0.05). There is a positive relationship between marital satisfaction and conflict resolution. This is indicated by the value of the correlation coefficient on marital satisfaction and conflict resolution variables, which is 6.1%. This means that the higher the marital satisfaction, the higher the level of conflict resolution in long-distance marriage couples. Vice versa, the lower the marital satisfaction, the lower the level of conflict resolution in long-distance marriage couples.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using the crust board media assisted by the problem-based learning (PBL) model on student learning outcomes. This study used experimental quantitative research method with a one-group pre-test-post-tes research design. The sample used in this study was 20 people. Data collection techniques in this study used tests, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques were using normality test and hypothesis testing. The result revealed that the average posttest score of student improved after using the problem-based learning (PBL) model-assisted crust board media compared to the average pretest score. The data analysis technique used a hypothesis test(t-tes) with the help of the SPSS version 25 program. The results showed a ttable of 1.725 and a tcount of 5.583 then the results of tcount were consulted with ttable foer one group test, where ttable (N=20) because tcount > ttable means the results of the two samples weresignificantly different. Thus it can be concluded that, there was a significant difference between the results of the pre-test and post-test which showh that the alternative hypothesis proposed by the researcher was accepted that also indicated that there was an effect of using crust board media assisted by the problem-based learning (PBL) model in improving learning outcomes on human digestive system the material at grade VB SDK 143 Bhaktyarsa. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that there was an effect of using the PBL model-assisted crust board media in improving learning outcomes on human digestive system material at grade VB SDK 143 Bhaktyarsa

Abstract

Means are anything that can be used as a tool in achieving a purpose or goal. Infrastructure is everything that can support the implementation of a business that is being carried out. In this case, the learning process will be improved if the facilities and infrastructure are adequate. In the holy book of the Qur'an, several verses show the importance of facilities and infrastructure in the learning process of Islamic education. This study aims to determine the importance of Islamic Education facilities and infrastructure in supporting student learning processes. This research was written using a descriptive analysis method with a literature study collection technique. Teaching media in the teaching and learning process can increase new interest and curiosity, stimulate, motivate learning activities, and even psychologically influence students. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to various factors that can support and hinder facilities and infrastructure in Islamic education so that the student learning process can run well.

Abstract

Student coaching is one way to carry out student management functions. In general, student development is an activity aimed at developing the potential of students in accordance with national educational goals. Student management is the arrangement and arrangement of activities related to students, starting from the student entering to leaving a school.Wahjosumidjo in his book states that Coaching is an effort, or activity that provides guidance, direction, strengthening, improvement, direction towards the mindset, mental attitude, behavior and interests, talents and skills of the students. The development of students is also put forward its definition according to Soetjipto and Raflis Kosasi Soetjipto and Raflis is the provision of services to students in an educational institution, both inside and outside his study hours in class. In line with Wahjosumidjo student development, namely efforts or activities to provide guidance, direction, strengthening, improvement, direction to the mindset, mental attitudes, behaviors and interests, talents and skills of students, through extracurricular programs in supporting curricular success.
