Abstract

The issues raised in this study are Community, Education and School Curriculum Development. In this study, the authors used the library research method, namely in writing articles, the authors used books as their data source. Library research which is commonly called library research is carried out by examining written sources. The nature of this research is descriptive-analytic, discussed clearly, sequentially, and directed. The research subject in this article is from secondary data. Secondary sources, namely data obtained not from main books but from these books contain supporting data. Usually these books are the result of a review of the main book. The secondary sources used in this article come from books that discuss matters related to the curriculum development process. The purpose of this research is to discuss the relationship between education, society, school, and curriculum. Initially, schools were established to pass on the cultural content of society to the younger generation so that they master knowledge, skills and values ​​that help them live well in their society. That is, by mastering and adhering to the cultural values ​​of the people, the younger generation of a society can live successfully as the older generation has experienced for themselves. In this context, the function of education is to transfer culture as it is to the younger generation.

Abstract

The Way Apu Dam is located on Buru Island, Ambon. It has multiple functions, including Irrigation, Raw Water, Hydropower, and Flood Control. The Way Apu River is a fairly large river which flows through settlements in the Way Apu area in Buru Regency which empties to the southeast into the Seram Sea. In line with the pace of community development, especially those who live and carry out activities around the plains on the downstream of the river, the problems caused by flooding. In July 2021, the embankment of the building that circumvented the Way Apu Dam, which used the 25-year flood plan design, was broken or damaged. Construction on the field has made the cross-sectional design double the design results. So the purpose of this study is to determine the design discharge for a 25 year return period using the HSS, ITB 1, ITB 2 method. From the results of the analysis of the three methods, the one that approaches the planning discharge value is the ITB 1 method with a planning Q25 discharge of 627 m3/s, and the Q25 discharge during the construction period of 768 m3/sec has exceeded the Q25 planning discharge value of 627 m3/sec.

Abstract

This paper intends to find out various things that are very important about nationalism, Pancasila in Sukarno's perspective. The method used in this research is descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The descriptive method can be interpreted as an effort made to reveal the situation and provide an objective description of the object under study. Data collection techniques from this study used literature studies. Researchers interpret the meaning of existing theories and articles. The result of this study is that nationalism or socio-nationalism according to Sukarno's view is nationalism that is humanist, originates from the Indonesian people themselves, not from other nations, and is more concerned with the nation and state than individual or group interests. The basic values of Pancasila put forward by Sukarno are the result of excavations from religion, culture, customs that exist in the life of the Indonesian nation and have been applied in the daily life of Indonesian society. Sukarno placed the precepts of God at the base or final sequence meaning that God was the initial basic foundation for the creation or formation of the other precepts, not positioning God below.

Abstract

The success of an organization or institution is influenced by various factors, both factors coming from within and coming from the environment. Of these various factors, motivation is a factor that is dominant and can move other factors toward the effectiveness of work. In some instances, motivation is often equated with a car's engine and steering wheel, which serves as a driving force and driver. The biggest source of motivation comes from the leader in this case is the principal. Principal leadership is an interrelated chain of aspects of teacher performance, pupils and all elements of the educational organization, so it is necessary to continuously improve in the form of self-development, insight so as to affect the progress of the school he leads.

Abstract

In an environment or group there will inevitably arise differences of opinion or perceptions which if not quickly resolved will eventually become a prolonged conflict. Everyone should be able to overcome the problems he is experiencing so that they do not widen. We often hear the ability to handle conflict management. The purpose of this research is to find out conflict management and communication patterns in KKN student groups so that they can avoid problems that can arise during KKN. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with 3 students as respondents. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. This study uses descriptive qualitative data analysis by analyzing data, reducing data, compiling data in units, categorizing data, determining data validity and interpreting data. The results of the study show that conflict management in the KKN group is in a good category because each member has the awareness to respect and respect one another, while the communication pattern used is an interpersonal communication pattern.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe teacher performance, to describe the leadership of the principal, to describe efforts to optimize teacher performance through the leadership of the principal in one of the public high schools in South Tangerang City. This research uses a type of qualitative research with descriptive methods. Descriptive method is a type of research that describes and answers the problems of a phenomenon or event that is happening at this time. The focus of this research is to explain the optimization of teacher performance through the principal's leadership. In accordance with the nature and characteristics of qualitative research, this study produces qualitative data that reveals phenomena in the environment through the speech and behavior of people or study subjects. This research is not intended to examine variables so that the approach used in this technique uses interviews, observations, and document studies. Data analysis is changing the processed data into something that has meaning for researchers and readers of research reports. Teacher performance, which includes learning, implementation of guidance, and professional development, has shown good quality. Teachers have high awareness to carry out their duties and roles in school. In the learning aspect, each teacher develops and owns learning tools, such as annual programs, semester programs, syllabus, and lesson plans (RPP). In the implementation of learning, of course, it refers to the learning plans that have been made and learning assessments, of course, looks at the process and learning outcomes, as well as students' knowledge and skills. In the aspect of guiding abilities, each teacher guides students.

Abstract

Teenagers' views on sex have shifted. Peralization globalization has resulted in the formation of culture and lifestyle, especially for young people of an age group who are very vulnerable to various changes and influences that come from outside. Dating with a variety of mild sexual behaviors such as touch, handrails, up to kisses and touch-touch sex which is basically the desire to enjoy and satisfy sexual urges also called heterosexuals.This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive research design using a cross sectional approach. In this study the researchers wanted to describe the relationship between premarital sex knowledge and adolescent dating behavior in SMA YPPK Teruna Bakti XI class. This study shows that good pre-marital sex knowledge with positive dating behavior is 62 respondents (37.8%) while good pre-marital sex knowledge with negative dating behavior is 27 respondents (16.5%). And less knowledge of premarital sex with positive dating behavior as many as 53 respondents (32.3%) while lack of premarital sex knowledge with negative dating as many as 22 respondents (13.4%). After doing statistical calculations with the Spearman’s test, it was 0.011 with sig. (2- tailed) of 0.890 or ˃ 0.05 can be concluded that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, which means there is no relationship of premarital sex knowledge with adolescent dating behavior in SMA YPPK Teruna Bakti XI class

Abstract

Electronic money is one example of the development of digital technology. One example of electronic money in Indonesia is Link Aja. However, the use of the Link application is still rare, especially among students. This research aims to analyze the acceptance of electronic money for Batam city students. This research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The model used to analyze acceptance of electronic money in this study is TAM which consists of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived trust and perceived risk. The population in this study were students at 5 tertiary institutions in Batam City, namely 7,226, while the sample used was 100 students in 5 tertiary institutions in Batam City. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire made via Google Form media and will be distributed via social media such as Line, Whatsapp, Instagram. The data obtained will be analyzed using SPSS software. The results showed that the variables perceived convenience, perceived trust, and perceived satisfaction had a significant effect on students' interest in using LinkAja. While the perception of benefits has no significant effect on the user loyalty variable.

Abstract

Citizenship Education is education that is closely related to shaping the character of students during the learning process at school. The research aims to identify and describe the role of Citizenship Education (PKn) in forming a characterful personality in elementary school children. The research method used is qualitative research. The data collection techniques in this study, namely through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The object of this study is the role of Citizenship Education (Civics) in forming a characterful personality in elementary school children, namely fourth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Pulawan. There were 3 informants in the study, namely: Teachers as informants to find out the habits, traits, and character of students at school through interviews. The head of SD Negeri 1 Pulawan as an informant to find out whether Civics as a subject that shapes student character has been implemented well or not at school. Then students as parties who have information and provide data that are the subject of research to be observed during the Civics learning process and outside of school hours. The focus of research is the character of Discipline, Independence, and Responsibility. The results of this study indicate that Citizenship Education has an important role in building the character of students for the nation and the State to become better individuals. Citizenship Education in its teaching has a major impact on the character development of Elementary School students.

Abstract

Previous research stated that the level of education has a partial effect on taxpayer compliance. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze more deeply how the influence of education level on compliance with the submission of income tax notification letters (SPT). This study aims to examine whether there is a positive effect on the level of education of individuals on the delivery of income tax returns with empirical studies on taxpayers at the Cikupa Primary Tax Service Office, Tangerang. In addition to education level, gender and marital status of taxpayers are also associated. The research method used is causal, with the unit of analysis being individual taxpayers. The sampling method used Stratified random sampling. Level of education based on gender and status of individual taxpayers in submitting income tax returns is measured using a questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale. Data analysis was performed by descriptive analysis and linear regression. The results of this study are expected to provide contributions, references, information and empirical evidence needed for parties in need in relation to the level of education based on gender and the status of individual taxpayers for the submission of income tax returns.
