Abstract

Cempaka Dance: The Sacred Ritual Flower of the Balinese Society, tells about human rites in dialogue with nature, spirits and gods. A performance art event that places and interprets the concept of space and time as an organic unity towards the movement of artistic awareness and the creation of events. Cempaka's choreography is a revitalization of Puri Anyar as a space that contains the concepts of Tri Hita Karana and Tri Mandala as spaces that open up creative ideas for choreographers in interacting with the Balinese cultural environment. This choreography is transformed into various forms of aesthetic elements; dance, song, music, decoration and symbolization of a traditional Balinese house in the form of a Puri (palace). The idea for the dance originates from the spatial function in Puri Anyar. Puri Anyar has historical value and beauty, is a traditional palace built based on the Tri Mandala and in accordance with Asta Kosala-Kosali or of adequate size and complete facilities for environmental choreography performances. Puri Anyar as a performance venue, the entire Puri area is used and responded to, there are no boundaries between the dancers and the audience, it is presented in the midst of the community, all the elements around the place become part of the structure of the performance. Through this Cempaka Dance, it is hoped that it can inform the development of Balinese culture, especially in the field of dance.

Abstract

Telek Melampahan Dance is one of the sacred dances originating from Lembongan Village. This dance was created by Alm. I Wayan Rawit because of a pawesik from relatives in Nusa Lembongan. This dance is danced every 6 months during Kuningan Day. This research that focuses on the Telek Melampahan Dance in Lembongan Village has 2 problems with the main study, namely (1) How does the Telek Melampahan Dance form in Nusa Lembongan, (2) How does the Telek Melampahan Dance function in Nusa Lembongan. The theory used to dissect the two problems is the aesthetic theory by Djelantik and the functional theory by Soedarsono and Sumandiyo Hadi. This research is a qualitative descriptive study in terms of performing arts studies using interview data collection techniques, observation, documentation and literature study. The results of this study indicate that this dance is different from the Telek Dance in general. The Telek Melampahan Dance is inspired by the Telek Jumpai Dance in Klungkung. The performance takes the story from the Lontar Nandha tattwa with an even number of Telek dancers, 2 jauk dancers and 5 dancers of Pura Dalem figures (Barong, Rarung, Baka, and Sang Hyang Baerawi). Judging from the variety of movements and clothing used, it is still very simple. The place where it is performed is also different from the Telek Dance in general which is danced in temples, but this dance is danced at Catus Pata in Lembongan Village. This dance was created with a function as a ritual means of repelling reinforcements. Before this dance is performed, stakeholders will offer offerings in the form of segehan, pejati and pemmbleh at Catus Pata, Lembongan Village. In addition, this dance can also be said as a means of communication to build solidarity for the people of Lembongan Village.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to further examine teacher creativity in involving various learning models in mathematics learning activities and how student learning success rates are viewed from cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. This research is a qualitative research involving students and teachers of class V as research subjects. The research instrument uses observation sheets of learning activities, interview guidelines, and student learning outcomes tests. Three types of activities in data analysis are data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results showed that there are four steps or stages of teacher activities in presenting meaningful learning activities for students including, first the planning stage (developing lesson plans, matching learning models with learning objectives to be achieved, teaching aids, learning media, learning resources, and evaluation procedures). Second, the stage of preparing or completing everything that has been planned (the availability of syllabus, lesson plans, mathematics subject matter that is integrated with other subject matter that is netted in sub-themes, learning media, learning scenarios to make it easier for teachers to succeed the learning model involved, evaluation tools in the form of student worksheets). Third, the implementation stage, namely teacher creativity in carrying out learning in the classroom including variations in teaching styles, material presentation patterns, interaction patterns, strengthening student understanding, selection of learning media, selection and determination of learning models. Fourth, the evaluation stage through 3 aspects, namely the cognitive aspect by providing LKS to students as a standard for material ability and understanding, affective aspects through the observation sheet of social and spiritual attitudes that have been provided by the teacher, and psychomotor aspects are evaluated during the learning process where the teacher provides evaluation in performance both in the form of work and the ability of students to implement mathematical knowledge in everyday life. From the creativity of this teacher, it shows the success of student learning from cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects with an average classical completeness of ≥80%.
