Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of applying the Project Based Learning Learning Model on learning mathematics on social arithmetic material in schools via Zoom on student learning outcomes. The approach used by researchers is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type. The research subjects were class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Modayag, totalling 49 students. The control class consisted of 25 students, and the experimental class consisted of 24 students. The instrument used is a test in the form of multiple-choice questions. The data analysis technique uses the independent sample T-test statistical method. The study results show the influence of applying the PjBL learning model to learning mathematics on the results of learning mathematics on social arithmetic material. The results showed that (1) there was a significant difference in the academic achievement of the control and experimental class students after different treatments, namely the control class 61.80 and the experimental class 79.38. (2) The hypothesis test results show that H0 is rejected, indicating an increase in student learning outcomes after implementing the Zoom-based PjBL model.

Abstract

Special schools (SLB) are only located in the city center, so that those with special needs in remote areas cannot reach their location. This is the reason why inclusive education is held. (Mohammad Divine Destiny, 2013). This study aims to find out the comparison of the implementation of special school learning at (SLB-B) Budi Nurani and inclusive education at SMP Negeri 3 Pabuaran in improving the quality of learning with disabilities. This study used a descriptive qualitative analysis approach with inductive data collection. The results of this study are that the Budi Nurani SLB-B School organizes special education for the blind with complete infrastructure, but not solid enough. Meanwhile, inclusive education at SMPN 3 Pabuaran provides education for the disabled and learning difficulties. SMPN 3 Inclusive Education has limitations: infrastructure and funds. The two schools optimize the learning process. so as to give birth to students who are able to live independently and compete in society. Both use the National Education Curriculum. The learning process for SLB students with a specialization in the deaf, how to communicate using sign language while reading the lips of the interlocutor. Meanwhile, students with special needs who carry out the learning process in Inclusive Education schools carry out the learning process without having to be specific in their class. Students at both the Budi Nurani SLB-B School and inclusive education at SMPN 3 Pabuaran are diligent in worship and can accept God's decrees/qadla

Abstract

Morphology is a branch of linguistics that studies and analyses a word formation. One of the processes of forming a new word is Afixation. Affixation is the precess or result of attaching or adding an affix to a root to form a new word. Affixation can be a prefixation, infixation, suffixation, and confixation. Prefixation is the process of attaching a prefix. Prefix is added that is added to the front of a root or stem. Affix is a grammatical element combined with words and stems that produce derived and inflected forms.This reseacrh is aimed at finding out and describing all prefixes throughly that are found in the Nias Language in detail. It means that this research studies about discussion the process of attaching an affix to the front of the root. The objective of this research is to describes the process of attachih a prefix to the root.

Abstract

This study entitled Persona Deixis in the Novel "Rindu yang Baik untuk Kisah yang Pelik" by Boy Candra and its Implementation in Indonesian Language Learning in High School aims to describe (1) the form of persona deixis in the form of the novel "Rindu yang Baik untuk Kisah yang Pelik" by Boy Chandra; (2) the meaning of persona deixis in the novel "Rindu yang Baik untuk Kisah yang Pelik" by Boy Candra; (3) implementation of learning Indonesian in high school. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data in this study is the text of the novel "Rindu yang Baik untuk Kisah yang Pelik" which contains deixis. While the source of data in this study is the novel "Rindu yang Baik untuk Kisah yang Pelik" by Boy Candra. Data collection techniques use document studies by analyzing persona deixis. Persona deixis in the novel “Rindu yang Baik untuk Kisah yang Pelik” found the use of persona deixis totaling 145 data. Includes 44 data of first person singular persona, 16 data of plural first person deixis, 81 data of second person singular persona, 2 data of plural second person deixis, and 2 data of third person singular deixis.

Abstract

Rumput kebar was one a clump plantation that was known as medicinal plant. It only can be found in Kebar sub-district, Manokwari, Irian Jaya. The reduction of spermatozoa fertility due to the poisonous material such as Borax (Na2B4O710H2O). Borax is the one of chemical substance can inhibit spermiosis and then followed by testicles atrophy. The research aimed to try out induction of rumput kebar extract in order to increase spermatozoa quality of male rats which was impacted by borax. The samples contained of 48 male rats (Rattus norvegicus L) which were 2 months old and 150-200g in weight. There were two treatments. The first was using of rumput kebar extract in male rats which were reduced in reproduction activity. The second one was using of rumput kebar extract in normal rats. Rumput kebar extract was given orally to male rat every day (0.0945 mg/g of body weight in dose) by duration of 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, and 28 days. The result showed that the rumput kebar extract increased testicle weight in infertile rat beginning on 7th day. Rumput kebar extract increased spermatozoa concentration from 7th to 21st day (P0.05). In other hand, rumput kebar extract decreased abnormality morphology of spermatozoa significantly on 28th day (P<0.05) while it didn’t affect spermatozoa concentration significantly on 28 th day (P>0.05). In other hand, rumput kebar extract decreased abnormality morphology of spermatozoa significantly on 28th day (P<0.05). Viability of spermatozoa increased significantly on 21st day and 28th day (P<0.05). Rumput kebar could only incresed morphology performance of spermatozoa up to 50% in normal rats. It could also incresed male rat’s body weight.

Abstract

This study aims to disclose information and discuss Efforts to Improve Students' PPKn Learning Outcomes Through the Discovery Learning Learning Model in Class X IPS/1 SMAN 1 Candung. This research is included in the type of classroom action research (CAR). This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 CKL, Agam Regency. The time of this research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 school year starting in October 2021. The subjects referred to as the action in this research were class X IPS/1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Cdungung, totaling 20 people with a composition of 11 men and women as many as 9 people. The research procedure consisted of two cycles with two meetings in each cycle. Each cycle consists of four stages of research namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection in this study was carried out using field notes, student worksheets, written tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the proportion formula. The results of this study indicate that the Discovery Learning learning model has a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the understanding and mastery of student material that has been conveyed by the teacher so far (learning completeness increased from Pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II, namely 25%, 60% and 85% respectively by giving gifts.

Abstract

The research objective was to improve thematic learning outcomes through the application of the word square cooperative learning model in class V MIS Muhammadiyah Sibatua, Pangkaje'ne District, Pangkep Regency. The formulation of the problem of this research is how to increase thematic learning outcomes through the application of the Word Square type cooperative learning model for fifth grade students, Mis Muhamadiyah Sibatua, Pangkaje'ne District, Pangkep Regency. The classroom action research procedure used refers to the action research methodology, namely (1) planning, (2) action implementation, (3) observation and evaluation, (4) reflection, which is carried out in 2 cycles. The evaluation results of cycle 1 showed that 6 students or 37.5% got the highest scores, 5 students or 31.25% got high scores, 2 students or 12.5% ​​got medium and low scores and 1 student or 6.25 % who scored very low. The average value of all students was 54% so that it was categorized as High and the results of cycle 2 showed that the questions increased to 89.39%, students who worked on practice questions to 89.39%, and students who needed guidance 16.66%, while students who did other activities that are not relevant to learning decreased to 10.60%. This shows an increase in student learning outcomes. From this classroom action research it can be concluded that independent practice can improve mastery of the material The Importance of Healthy Food for the Body Sub Theme 2 for class V MIS Muhammadiyah Sibatua Odd Semester 2022/2023 Academic Year. The suggestions in this study are as follows: Elementary school teachers need to apply the Word Square cooperative learning model as one of the learning methods in the classroom because this model is proven to improve students' ability to understand the material.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of problems that arise in students caused by the learning process still using the lecture method, causing the learning process to seem monotonous and cause a feeling of boredom and boredom in students and there is no meaningful learning experience, so that student learning outcomes are less good. The goal to be achieved in this research is to find out the learning process by using experimental methods and learning media as well as improving student learning outcomes after using experimental methods and learning media. Currently learning science in elementary schools, the teacher's role in the learning process is still dominant. In learning, the teacher delivers teaching material in front of the class using the lecture method only while the students just sit, listen and take notes on what is material in the science lesson. Such learning conditions result in students being less active and not directly involved in finding the meaning of learning to be achieved. The purpose of the research conducted was to improve the learning outcomes of class VI students at SD IT Miftahul Jannah, Bandar Selamat Village, Kec. Medan Tembung in science subjects on electrical energy through experimental methods and teaching aids. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This data collection technique takes place with the interview process.How to use learning media with this experimental method is quite effective in helping students find methods to increase their understanding of the subject matter that has been delivered.

Abstract

Game Based Learning Snakes and Ladders Game to Improve Critical Thinking. This study aims to (1) produce Game Based Learning (PBL) learning media for snakes and ladders to improve critical thinking skills and (2) determine the effectiveness of snakes and ladders learning media based on GBL in improving the critical thinking skills of sixth grade elementary school students. This study uses the Borg and Gall research design. The operational field test subjects consisted of 30 students of grade six (V) SD IT ZUTSAQIF and SD IT ZUTSAQIF; each for the experimental and control classes. The research findings are as follows. (1) GBL-based monopoly game learning media according to student needs. According to material experts and educational media experts, the learning media for snakes and ladders games developed based on GBL are in the "good" category. (2) There is an increase in students' critical thinking skills in the experimental class. All tests and results show that monopoly learning media based on GBL has a positive effect on students' critical thinking skills, with a significance of p <0.05.

Abstract

This research uses qualitative methods with the aim of looking at the phenomena that exist in the school related to the leadership of the principal in improving the quality of education at MIS Baja Kuning. The results of the research show that quality education basically produces quality human resources as well. The quality of education is determined by various elements, namely school, community, and family involvement. In making quality schools, it is necessary to have a quality policy in schools. The quality policy in schools is an official and written policy from a school where the school community is committed to realizing this policy. In making decisions and policies on the quality of education at MIS Baja Kuning, the Principal together with the teachers develops and improves the quality of the school by carrying out deliberations to formulate the vision, mission and goals of the school to be achieved. Then a better policy is carried out that serves as a guideline for long-term school policy directions in terms of continuous quality improvement. That way in making decisions and policies at MIS Baja Kuning has a process in improving the quality of education in order to achieve the goals of school education as expected.
