Abstract

This study aims to obtain information and discuss the application of school-based inset as an effort to improve teachers' abilities in preparing and planning lessons at SDN 41/X Sungai Jambat even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a school action research (PTS) which consists of two cycles by following the four stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. This research was conducted at SDN 41/X Sungai Jambat in the even semester of the 2021/2022 school year with a total of 5 teacher subjects. Data was collected through observation sheets and documentation and analyzed using proportions and data reduction. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be interpreted that through the application of school-based inset, the teacher's ability to prepare and plan lessons at SDN 41/X Sungai Jambat even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year by giving rewards.

Abstract

This research aims to improve teachers' abilities in preparing various learning media through group guidance at SDN 195/X Sungai Jambat even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a school action research which consists of two cycles. This research was conducted at SDN 195/X Sungai Jambat in the even semester of the 2021/2022 school year with 8 teacher research subjects. Data collection techniques using observation, field notes and documentation. Data were analyzed using percentages and data reduction. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that group guidance can improve teachers' abilities in making various learning media at SDN 195/X Sungai Jambat even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the large number of students who have an adversity quotient in mathematics which tends to be less good. It can be seen from students who are less enthusiastic and less enthusiastic in learning and students who show a pessimistic attitude when they encounter difficulties or problems in learning mathematics and have not been able to find solutions how to solve these problems. This is thought to be caused by poor student motivation. Based on these conditions, the formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is a relationship between learning motivation and students' adversity quotient (AQ) in class X mathematics at SMKN 1 Ampek Angkek for the 2021/2022 academic year. The hypothesis in this study is "There is a significant relationship between learning motivation and students' adversity quotient (AQ) in class X mathematics at SMKN 1 Ampek ‎Angkek for the 2021/2022 academic year."‎ This type of research is correlational research with quantitative methods. The population in this study were all class X students of SMKN 1 Ampek Angkek, totaling 277 students. And the sample in this study were 34 students taken randomly. The research instruments contained a learning motivation questionnaire and an Adversity Quotient questionnaire The results of this study obtained Z0 = 3.412 and Z_(a/2) = 1.96, at the real level α = 0.05. This shows that Z0 ≥ Z_(a/2) so that it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and students' adversity quotient (AQ) in mathematics class X at SMKN 1 Ampek Angkek in the 2021 academic year. /2022‎.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information and discuss increasing teacher competence in applying the cooperative learning model through workshops at SDN 12/X Pemusiran in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is school action research. This research was conducted at SDN 12/X Pemusiran in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research subjects were all teachers at SDN 12/X Pemusiran, totaling 5 people. Data was collected through observation sheets, field notes, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use percentages and data reduction. Implementation of workshops that focus on increasing teacher competence in applying cooperative learning models, has increased. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that through workshops it can increase teacher competence in implementing cooperative learning at SDN 12/X Pemusiran in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the competence of teachers in carrying out learning that still needs to be improved. This study aims to obtain information and discuss increasing teacher competence in carrying out learning through inspirational motivation-based transformational leadership of principals at SDN 11/X Nipah Panjang even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is school action research. This research was conducted at SDN 11/X Nipah Panjang even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research subjects were all teachers at SDN 11/X Nipah Panjang, totaling 8 people who were class I to class VI teachers and PAI teachers at SDN 11/X Nipah Panjang. Data was collected through observation sheets, field notes, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use proportions and data reduction. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that through inspirational motivation-based transformational leadership, principals can increase teacher competence in carrying out learning through SDN 11/X Nipah Panjang even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year by giving rewards.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the implications of Ivan Pavlov's behaviorism learning theory in learning Arabic for class VIII students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) Sukabumi City and its advantages and disadvantages. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with observation techniques. This study also used interview techniques for Arabic teacher in class VIII MTs Negeri Sukabumi City and to 12 students of MTs Negeri Kota Sukabumi who came from the 4 classes. The results showed that there are many behaviors in Arabic language learning for class VIII MTs Negeri Sukabumi City students that are relevant to Ivan Pavlov's concept of behaviorism learning theory, namely to make students learn, teacher provides certain conditions. The advantage of this learning theory is suitable to be applied to Arabic language learning for class VIII students of MTs Negeri Sukabumi City, because most of the students show the expected response when the teacher often applies repetition and habituation related to the material being studied. The disadvantage lies in the hours of study that affect the response given by the students. Students who learn Arabic in the morning tend to be quick in responding to the stimulus provided by the teacher.

Abstract

The background of the research is the low achievement of learning Indonesian in drama material for fifth grade students at Pahlawan Elementary School, Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency, Riau. The low results of learning to play drama because students are not trained by teachers in playing drama characters, so students experience difficulties in acting out drama with proper pronunciation, intonation, expression, and appreciation. Learning with the sociodrama method was chosen, because in addition to training students' courage to play drama, it also makes students active in learning and develops cooperation within students. The purpose of this study was to improve the skills of playing drama characters in fifth grade students of SD Pahlawan. The subjects in the study were teachers and fifth grade students at SD Pahlawan, Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency, Riau. The number of students is 17 children, consisting of 7 male students and 10 female students. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection methods used are tests, observations, and documentation. Prior to conducting the research, the researcher conducted preliminary observation activities through interviews. The data analysis technique in this study is quantitative descriptive statistics, namely by finding the average. The results showed that learning the skills of playing drama characters using the sociodrama method could improve the skills of playing the characters of the fifth grade students of SD Pahlawan. Class average results in cycle I average student score of 67.47 with classical completeness of 70.58% (11 students). In cycle II, the average score of students increased again to 77 with a classical mastery level of 88.23% (15 students). From the data obtained, it can be concluded that the sociodrama method can improve learning outcomes and student activity in drama material.

Abstract

This research originates from the fact that many Grade IVA SD students have difficulty writing narrative essays in Indonesian. This is because the teacher does not provide variations in applying learning models that are less attractive. One solution to overcome this problem is to use a mind mapping model. This classroom action research aims to describe the improvement in narrative writing skills of class IVA students at SD Negeri 002 Kunto Darussalam. This research was carried out in two cycles with the subjects of this study being 22 class IVA students. Data collection techniques used in this research are documentation, observation, and test techniques. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that in the first cycle the teacher's activity got an average percentage of 70% and 88.57% in the second cycle. Furthermore, student activity in cycle I got an average percentage of 61.42% and cycle II 85.71%. And writing student narrative essays was quite good, out of 22 students only 17 students or 77.27% achieved completeness individually. The results of writing student narrative essays in cycle II were also quite good with an average of 82.54 and out of 22 students there were 19 students or 86.36% who achieved completeness individually. Thus it can be concluded that by applying the mind mapping model it can increase teacher activity in teaching, increase student learning activities, and can improve the results of narrative essay writing skills for class IVA students of SD Negeri 002 Kunto Darussalam.

Abstract

This research concerned on students’ reading comprehension using Think Pair Share (TPS) method. The objective of research is to know the improvement of students’ reading comprehension in reading kids story material when Think Pair Share (TPS) Method is applied in fifth grade at SD Negeri 003 Siabu. This research is Classroom Action Research. It has been conducted on May 2021. It conducted in six meetings. The subject of the research is students of fifth grade at SD Negeri 003 Siabu included of 26 students. The result of this research showed that Think Pair Share method can improve students’ reading comprehension in reading kids story material it proved from the comparison of students score in every cycle. In pre-cycle, 5 students or 19,2% that achieve score higher than KKM 70. In cycle I, it improved to be 15 students or 57,7%. In cycle II, 24 students or 92,3% have score higher than KKM. In conclusion, the use of Think Pair Share method can improve students’ reading comprehension of fifth grade at SD Negeri 003 Siabu in academic year of 2021/2022.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze a drama monologue of awakening using a literary reception approach. Literary reception is a literary genre that examines literary texts by considering the reader as the giver of speech or response. This research refers to the understanding and assessment given by the audience towards the drama "Monologue of Awakening" which was carried out by taking advantage of the moment of commemoration of the Youth Pledge. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, namely describing and describing the subject or object of research that elevates the facts found in the research being studied. This Awakening Monologue tells about the attitude of Indonesian youth in responding to various issues so that Indonesia can survive, and ends with the delivery of the Youth Pledge, Language Month, and an emphasis on being proud of speaking Indonesian. From the research results, it was found that this literary reception research succeeded in getting the audience and readers immersed in the plot of the story.
