Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui potensi Semurup sebagai laboratorium alam, dan (2) mengetahui sistem pendukung utama potensi Semurup sebagai laboratorium alam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi dan kajian pustaka. Narasumber penelitian yaitu depati ninik mamak dan masyarakat Semurup, serta dosen jurusan Tadris Biologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan potensi Semurup dapat dilihat dari 4 aspek, yaitu (1) sumber air panas “Gao Semurup” sebagai edupark, (2) air terjun Pendung Semurup yang memiliki peran hidrologis dan habitat bagi beraneka hewan dan tumbuhan, (3) Masyarakat Semurup menerapkan sistem pengelolaan agroforestry yang unik berupa ladang dan pelak, dan (4) Upacara adat masyarakat lokal Semurup sebagai sumber kajian etnobotani dan etnozoologi. Dari tiga lokasi penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahawa sistem pendukung utama potensi Semurup tersebar di dua lokasi yaitu Gao Semurup dan air terjun Pendung Semurup. Kedua lokasi didukung oleh jarak yang dekat dengan kampus, aksesabilitas yang mudah, keanekaragaman tumbuhan dan hewan, jaringan internet yang memadai dan lokasi yang rindang sehingga mendukung pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to know the students’ ability. The method used in this research is the qualitative method. The result of the study shows that the students’ ability in translating from English into Indonesian generally is Excellent. The important thing in translation that we have to know is the fact that every language has its own system, structure, and rule. Every language has different way in arranging word by word to be phrases, sentences, paragraphs, or essay.

Abstract

This research was focused on the extent of the accuracy of the translation of the Indonesian Short Story “ Angsa dengan Telur Emas" into English Using U-Dictionary. The short story “Angsa dengan Telur Emas" of translation were analyzed from Using U-Dictionary.Theories used in this research was Nababan (2012) Scale for scoring accuracy divided into 3 namely accurate, less accurate, inaccurate. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method and the objective of the research is to find out the level of accuracy of the translation of the Indonesian short story “Angsa dengan Telur Emas" into English using U-Dictionary. After conducting the analysis, this research showed the accurate, less accurate and inaccurate. And the kinds of inaccurate divided 4 namely, mistranslation, omission, addition and un-translated According Specia and Shah (2014). They were 182 data as samples. The accuracy percentage was 48, 35%. The less accurate percentage was 17, 58%.The inaccurate percentage was 34, 06 %. After calculating the average accuracy level, the result showed that Short Story “Angsa dengan Telur Emas” Using U-Dictionary was considered as accurate translation.

Abstract

Picture Series is one of the media images that can be used to support and help vocabulary learning. Vocabulary is very important for everyone to learn especially a students, because if someone has mastery of vocabulary in English then when he/she uses English, he/she will have no difficulties. The aims of this study was to find out whether picture series had a good impact on improving and developing students' mastery of vocabulary or not. In this study, researchers used a quantitative experimental method. Based on the results of the research conducted by the researcher, it was found that picture series had a significant impact on students' mastery of vocabulary.

Abstract

In the learning process students often do not understand the math problem being worked on, so the steps for solving it are not appropriate. This is caused by the students' mathematical problem solving abilities which are still low and the learning model used by the teacher is still not appropriate for students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities on the material system of three variable linear equations in class X. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental research type and used a Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. The population of this study were all students of class X and the sample was taken by Cluster Random Sampling with 2 classes, namely the experimental class (X-1) and the control class (X-2). The instrument used is a description test of 5 questions and observation. This data analysis uses prerequisite test and hypothesis test with t-test. From the results of the study, the average Post-Test value of the experimental class was 78.68 and the average Post-Test value of the control class was 70.74. Judging from the average value of students' mathematical problem solving abilities between the experimental class and the control class, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has a higher influence than conventional learning. Based on the hypothesis test using the t-test, the result is that tcount>ttable=2.123>2.016 with a significant level of 5%, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So that it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the three-variable linear equation system material in class X.

Abstract

Abstract

Based on the results of research observations, in the odd semester learning outcomes for BTA subjects in 2021/2022, there are some students who have not completed due to variations in teaching styles that do not support student activity in the learning process that still uses the old learning method. From this, the formulation of the problem in th is study is: "Is the application of the Iqro 'Method able to improve student learning outcomes in BTA subjects at SD Negeri 2 Lumbungkerep Wonosari TA.2021/2022?".Referring to the problems mentioned above, the authors try to improve student learning outcomes by using the Iqro 'method on each sub-subject of BTA subjects. In the learning process students will be directly involved in learning activities. This research is in the form of classroom action research for two cycles, and in each cycle there are two meetings with each meeting is 2x35 minutes, then the stages are planning, implementation, observation and reflection.The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes with the Iqro 'method on BTA subjects, students who have participated in learning using the Iqro' method for third grade students of SD Negeri 2 Lumbungkerep Wonosari TA.2021/2022. The data collection technique used in this research is to use learning outcomes tests, observation and documentation.Based on the results of class action research and the discussion that has been stated, it can be concluded as follows: learning using the application of the iqro' method can improve student learning outcomes in the first cycle with 75.08% completeness and in the second cycle 87.08%. This means that there is an increase from cycle I to cycle II as much as 21.70%.

Abstract

The background of this research is because the purpose of the research is to describe; 1) Self-management of class XI students 2) Bullying attitudes of class XI students 3) The relationship between self-management and bullying attitudes of class XI students. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research with a correlation analysis approach. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire instrument. The population of this study was all students of class XI BDP SMK Negeri 1 Painan totaling 92 people. The sampling technique used a total sampling of 92 people. Data analysis using correlation techniques. The results of this study reveal that 1) Self-management of class XI students is in the fairly good category, 2) The bullying attitude of class XI students is in the fairly good category, 3) The relationship between self-management and bullying attitudes of class XI students is in the very category weak. Based on this research, it is recommended for counseling teachers and subjects to improve self-management and reduce bullying attitudes. Based on the relationship between self-management and bullying attitudes, it is in the very good category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between intensity of playing online slot games and academic procrastination among adolescents in the city of Padang Panjang. This research is a quantitative correlational research with sample selection using incidental sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 125 subjects. This study uses a modified Internet Gaming Disorder scale and an academic procrastination scale. Data analysis techniques in this study used product moment correlation with the help of SPSS version 16.0 for Windows. Based on the results of this study obtained a correlation coefficient value of 0,475 and p value = 0,000 (p < 0,05), so Ha accepted. This means that, there is a significant positive relationship between the intensity of playing online slot games and academic procrastination in adolescents in the city of Padang Panjang.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method which was conducted at the Anwarul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Lintas Utara Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study include: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. As well as checking the validity of the data is to use the triangulation technique. The findings from this study indicate that the cultivation of character values implemented at Anwarul Ulum Islamic Boarding School is through a boarding system, learning, exemplary, and habituation. While the obstacles that arise in the process of cultivating these character values are two, namely obstacles that come from within and obstacles from outside the Islamic Boarding School. The Islamic Boarding School's efforts to overcome internal factor barriers through the provision of sanctions and coaching are carried out by reciting recitation and calling students specifically while external factors are carried out by requiring all students to live in dormitories. Obstacles caused by the lack of awareness of the parents of the students were carried out through activities that were carried out together and through calling the parents of the students.
