Abstract

This study aims to find out how big the role of the Nusantara Module Course is so that it has an impact on increasing student Insight into Diversity. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were Inbound Students at Yogyakarta State University and Surabaya State University in 2022. Data collection using the Observation and Research results showed that the Nusantara Module Course had a major role in increasing insight into the diversity of inbound students, including; First, students have new experiences and knowledge about culture and history that were previously unknown to students; Second, students are able to reflect and show how to preserve and have a sense of protecting the prevailing histories in Indonesia which are still a state tribute or museums which must be kept intact in their historical form; Third, students have strong national character and insight and high morals to match their intelligence to become young cadres of state defense who understand "Unity in Diversity" as the nation's wealth; Fourth, students have a big role to play in creating and building and maintaining the integrity of culture and history in Indonesia and must be able to provide concrete evidence by innovating and recreation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students who have not the ability to recognize their emotions.The aims of this study were: (1) Profile of self-awareness of students before treatment, (2) Profile of self-awareness of students after treatment, (3) The effectiveness of thedevelopmental program counseling based on information technology (IT) to improving their ability to recognize emotions. This study uses a quantitative approach, by types of experimental research. The location of this research is at SMK Negeri 1 Painan. The samples in this study were 30 students in class XI OTKP 1 (experimental group) and 30 students in class XI PHT 1 (control group). The data collected questionnaire technique, and was analyzed by Ancova technique. The research finding : 1) The level of self-awareness before treatment was classified as low, both in the experimental class and the control class. 2) The level of Self Awareness after the treatment underwent significant changes, especially in the experimental group. 3) Program developmental counseling based on information technology (IT) effective to significantly to increasing students ability self awareness. Based on research finding, it is recommended to the counselor to using a guidelines developmental program counseling to improving students' ability self awareness

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts in Class XI of Private High School Nommensen Pematangsiantar Campus T.A 2022/2023. In this study there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who use the Problem Based Learning learning model and conventional learning models. The population in this study were all students of class XI at the Nommensen Pematangsiantar Private High School, namely 64 people, and the samples in this study were two classes, namely class XI-PMIA as the experimental class and class XI-PIIS as the control class. The research instrument given to the sample is significant, because by using the moment product formula the lowest validity coefficient calculation results are obtained 0.598 (sufficient validity) and the highest validity coefficient is 0.870 (very high validity) so that each test item is valid, using the alpha formula for the test is obtained the results of the calculation of the test reliability coefficient were 0.781 and when compared with rtable with a significant level α = 0.05 and n = 32, it was obtained rtable = 0.361 it turned out that rcount > rtable then the instrument was reliable. This research was conducted on 64 students, the learning outcomes of students who used the Problem Based Learning learning model obtained an average of 64.438, variance of 41.197. The learning outcomes of students using conventional learning models obtained an average of 60.438, a variance of 39.729. From the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test, zcount > ztable is (2.515 > 1.960). Then it is concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that the Problem Based Learning learning model influences the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the application of accounting information systems at KPN Dewantara. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Primary data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews with 5 informants who were members, administrators and supervisors of KPN Dewantara. The results showed that the implementation of the accounting information system in the form of microsoft excel at KPN Dewantara was considered good, the selection of microsoft excel based on the needs of KPN Dewantara management, effectiveness was assessed as good by fulfilling 5 indicators of effectiveness, although in the near future microsoft excel will soon be replaced with a new system called cooperative. 4.0. However, the quality of financial reports can only be assessed as good from an internal KPN Dewantara perspective because KPN is not yet guided by PSAK and only uses SAK-ETAP as a guideline for preparing financial reports. The limitations of this study are that there is still a lack of data collection, and the subjects used have not used PSAK as a guideline for making financial reports so that this research has not been able to fully describe the real conditions and conditions of cooperatives in the city of Bengkulu.

Abstract

Learning motivation is an essential element for a student in learning mathematics. Mathematics learning achievement is closely related to learning motivation. This study analyzes the relationship between the two variables using a meta-analysis design. Meta-analysis was carried out using the help of the JASP computer program, while data searches used Harzing’s Publih or Perish that was indexing by Google Scholar. The data analyzed as a sample were 11 studies at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the effect sizes of the 11 studies analyzed varied. The results of this study found that the correlation coefficient rE was 0.452 with a p-value <0.001 at the 95% confidence level. While the results of the analysis of moderator variables at the school level and study period respectively, obtained p-value = 0.008 with Qb = 9.641 and 0.036 with Qb = 4.441. Based on the results of the data analysis, this study concluded that there was a significant positive relationship between learning motivation and students' mathematics learning outcomes in Indonesia. The relationship differed significantly between school levels and between publication period. The research findings have implications for the need for serious attention from teachers, principals, parents of students, and related parties to always maintain and continue to arouse students' learning motivation in learning mathematics. on increasing student motivation.

Abstract

Based on the results of the researchers' observations and interviews with fifth grade teachers at SD Negeri 176/IV Jambi City which were held from March 23 2022 to March 25 2022, the researchers found that this school had implemented the 2013 curriculum which implemented integrated thematic learning. However, the implementation in the field is not as expected in integrated thematic learning, which requires students to be active and independent in the learning process. Based on these conditions, it is necessary to make improvements and changes in the implementation of the learning process so that the expected integrated thematic learning is realized. One alternative action that can be taken is to apply an effective learning model in the 2013 curriculum, which involves students actively, creatively, independently and fun and makes students able to think critically in dealing with a problem. Among the models that can help is the Flipped Classroom learning model, this model in practice makes students as subjects and students have more social interaction with friends. In the learning process students are actively and independently involved and utilize technology as a medium in learning by watching videos before conducting direct learning.

Abstract

This research is entitled Elements of Javanese – Dutch Culture in Mas Marco Kartodikromo's Student Hidjo Novel (Literary Anthropological Studies). This study aims to describe elements of Javanese culture and elements of Dutch culture contained in the novel Student Hidjo by Mas Marco Kartodikromo. The source of data is the novel Student Hidjo by Mas Marco Kartodikromo. The approach used is the approach of literary anthropology. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection techniques used are reading, recording, and literature studies. From the results, the elements of Javanese cultural and Dutch cultural exist in this novel. In terms of data that indicating elements of Javanese culture in Student Hidjo Novel, 7 data were found related to living equipment and technology, 8 data related to livelihoods, 14 data related to the societal system, 20 data related to cultural elements related to language, 4 data related to the arts, 3 data relating to knowledge systems, 5 data related to religion. Meanwhile, elements of Dutch culture in Student Hidjo novels related to living equipment and technology were found 2 data, 6 data related to livelihoods, 2 data related to the societal system, 50 data related to language, 2 data related to art, 3 data related to the knowledge system, while no data was found related to religion. Of the seven cultural elements, all proves the difference between Javanese culture and Dutch culture in the novel Student Hidjo.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with an experimental research method using a Quanti Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design design in which there are two groups that are not randomly selected, in which the group taking the subject is selected using a probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling technique. The data collection was carried out through the distribution of pretest and posttest which were then analyzed using the Spearman rank test and Wilcoxon test with the help of the SPSS version 23 for windows application program to see how much influence and effectiveness of group guidance services with the think pair share method have on self-control of gadget use. Based on the results of the data obtained, there was an increase in self-control in the use of gadgets before and after being given group guidance services using the think pair share method in the experimental group and the control group. Then it was found that group guidance services using the think pair share method had an effect on self-control of gadget use by 63%. Furthermore, this study shows that group guidance services using the think pair share method are effective for increasing self-control in using gdgets.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the impact of traditional children’s toys on the value of the creative character of the sense of initiative of children in Karanganyar village, Jepara. In this study, the method used is qualitative, and the research data presented is in the form of narrative data. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted using interviews, observation, recording, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study is a qualitative analysis developed by Miles and Huberman, which is carried out with the following steps: (a) data reduction (b) data presentation (c) conclusion. The results show that playing with traditional toys has an impact on the value of the creative character of the sense of initiative in Karanganyar children which is characterized by being able to develop aspects of critical or creative thinking, developing aspects of feeling of heart responses from the sense including being able to feel and appreciate, then develop the ability to will. Or real action.

Abstract

The escalation of internet use in Indonesia is directly proportional to the increase in the vulnerability of cyber attacks that have the potential to create a crisis. When an attack occurs, proper handling is required, not only in terms of technical aspects related to cyber operational systems, but also in aspects related to reputation and public trust. Public Relations plays an important role in carrying out the communication function when a crisis due to cyber attacks occurs, to maintain good relations and maintain public trust in affected organizations. This study seeks to provide recommendations on how public relations practitioners provide communication responses when crises due to cyber attacks occur. Using a literature-based explorative research method. Research shows that public relations practice is an important thing to do, especially in carrying out the communication function. Public relations must be responsive and have high awareness in carrying out early detection of potential crises due to cyberattacks, designing response plans, and conducting transparent, credible and accountable communications in order to maintain public trust and organizational reputation.
