Abstract

Efforts of PAI Teachers in Forming Muslim Personal Self-Concepts in Students at MI Sullamul Hidayah Samarinda. In Islam, personality is a very important factor. In this day and age many students forget their identity as a Muslim. Like the lack of politeness towards teachers, speaking harshly, not used to thinking greetings and so on. The purpose of this study was to find out the efforts of PAI teachers in forming Muslim personalities in students at MI Sullamul Hidayah Samarinda. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study was 1 PAI teacher at MI Sullamul Hidayah Samarinda. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was stated that the efforts of PAI teachers in forming Muslim personalities for students at MI Sullamul Hidayah Samarinda were by carrying out various religious programs, providing examples, and habituating them in everyday life.

Abstract

Currently, Shorinji Kempo martial arts in Gorontalo are well-known among children, youth, adults to the elderly, many of them even take part in Shorinji Kempo training at dojos spread across Gorontalo Province. This study aims to find out how much interest students at MTs Al-Falah Pulubala District have in learning Shorinji Kempo. This research is a descriptive research using survey method. This research was conducted at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Pulubala, Pulubala District, Gorontalo Regency. The population in this study were all students at MTs Pulubala, Pulubala District, Gorontalo Regency, totaling 41 students. The sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique with the requirements 1) being an active student, 2) being active in sports activities, 3) being willing to be a sample. Based on the purposive sampling technique, a total of 15 samples were obtained. The instrument in this study used a closed questionnaire whose validity had been measured. As a result, students' interest in Shorinji Kempo martial arts showed that the average student interest was 72.67% which indicated that out of 15 students, 10 students were interested in learning Shorinji Kempo martial arts and 2 students were very interested, and 2 students were less interested. Based on the results of the study entitled Survey of Interest in Studying Shorinji Kempo Self Defense for Students of MTs Pulubala, Pulubala District, Gorontalo Regency, it was found that out of 10 students at MTs Al-Falah Pulubala had an interest in shorinji kempo martial arts.

Abstract

In learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn), morals and character are the main things that need to be instilled in every child, because the Civics learning process currently has a goal in forming children's morals and character. The implementation of moral and character values in Civics learning at SMPN 17 Medan in 2022-2023 is one of the focuses for educators at this school. This is done as an effort to improve the quality of education and form young people who have good personalities and morals. Educators at SMPN 17 Medan have made various efforts for the success of this implementation, such as integrating values and character into learning, holding extracurricular activities that support character building, and implementing an appropriate system of rewards and sanctions for each student's behavior that influences character. Factors that affect the morale and character of children are environmental factors, friends, and media or technology factors. In this study the method used is a qualitative approach which is carried out descriptively. The basis or theory of the discussion this time is obtained from the results of literature or literature studies obtained from several relevant sources such as journals, articles and books.

Abstract

This research is based on a problem, namely students' numeracy skills are still low, the method used only uses the lecture method. This study aims to determine the effect of the jarimatics method on the numeracy ability of grade II students in elementary schools and to determine the jarimatics method according to the characteristics of low-grade students. The research method used is an experiment with the type of true experimental design with the form of design used is posttest-only control design. The population used amounted to 44 students and the sample amounted to 44 students with a census sampling technique / total sampling. Data collection techniques use test and documentation techniques. Research analysis techniques used using t-test assisted by SPSS 26 software. Thus, it can be concluded that H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted or there is a significant influence of the jarimatics method on the numeracy ability of grade II students in elementary school.

Abstract

The background of this research is to look at developments at SMK N 1 Mojosongo which are progressing rapidly in terms of quality and quantity. Where this research is formulated from, how is the principal's leadership strategy, what strategy is used in improving learning achievement, and whether the strategy applied has had an effect on student achievement at SMK N 1 Mojosongo. With the aim of knowing the principal's leadership strategy, knowing the strategy used to improve learning achievement, and to find out the results of the influence of the strategy implemented at SMK N 1 Mojosongo. Researchers conducted research using qualitative research methods, which is something that cannot be measured or described. Thus, researchers collected data by conducting interviews with school principals, observing the school environment and taking notes or documentation. The results of the study show that the principal's leadership strategy at SMK N 1 Mojosongo is successful and has an effect on increasing student learning achievement both from an academic (theory) and non-academic (practice) perspective. This is driven by the existence of a school principal's strategy, learning methods, and well-conducted evaluations

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop smartphone-based comic media to improve learning outcomes and interest in reading in fourth grade elementary school students. The type of research used is research and development (R&D). The subjects of this study were fourth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Sukodono with a total of 30 students, 13 male students and 17 female students. Data collection techniques are interviews, questionnaires and tests. The instruments used were interview sheets, expert validator sheets and multiple choice questions. Based on the results of the validation experts from 4 media expert validators, the material expert got a score of 42 out of a score of 84% in the very high category, the media expert got the percentage of 92% in the very high category, the results of the design expert got the percentage of 84% in the very high category, and the results of language experts get a percentage of 94% in the very high category. The results of the effectiveness of the t test Sig. (2-tailed) .000 < 0.05 Ho is rejected and there is a difference in the increase in learning outcomes, it can be stated that the developed smartphone-based comic media has been effective in improving student learning outcomes. While the results of the questionnaire obtained a percentage of 97.5 with a very high category. From the results of research conducted by smartphone-based comic media, it can improve learning outcomes and interest in reading in class IV students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' errors in working on the System of Two Variable Linear Equations using the Newman procedure at SMP Negeri 1 Tondano. The research approach is a collective case study approach with a critical paradigm. Data was collected through interviews, written tests, observation, and documentation. In contrast, data analysis techniques include data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results obtained were (1) There was an error in the second stage of the Newman error procedure: students needed to understand all the questions the researcher gave. (2) In the Transformation section or the third stage in the Newman error procedure, students have not been able to convert the information obtained from the questions into a mathematical model (3) In the Process Skills section or the fourth stage, most students have not been able to work on the questions with good processing skills ( 4) then in the Answer Writing section there are primarily students who make mistakes when writing the final answer, where students do not write conclusions.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of school in fostering religious character education in the digital era. The research method used in this study is qualitative. The headmaster of Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Negeri (MIN 2) Pekanbaru being a main sample in this reseacrh, Data collection techniques using the interview method, obesevation and documentation, Analysis of research data using reduction techniques, triangulation and conclusions from research data. Based on this research, it was concluded that the management of the Head of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 2 Pekanbaru in fostering religious character education in the digital age by prioritizing the psychological side of students who have implications for behavior, character formation in children is carried out in an effort to create students who have good knowledge and behavior. Character of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Pekanbaru Madrasah Students has values ​​that are sourced from Pancasila, Religion, Culture, and the purpose of national education that is honest, tolerance, religious, discipline, cooperation, creative, democracy, independence, national spirit, curiosity, , love of motherland, friendly, communicative, respect for achievement, love of peace, caring for the environment, fond of reading, social care and responsible. Student religiosity is shown by the attitudes or obedience behavior in carrying out the teachings of religion that has been adopted, tolerant of the implementation of religious worship and living in harmony with adherents of other religions. The results from this research showed that the management of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 2 Pekanbaru in fostering religious character education had been going well by carrying out three principles of management: 1. make a plan what will be carried out, 2. Carrying out what has been planned and 3. evaluation that has been carried out. Information technology helps facilitate all human activities, information search, information delivery and literacy about the addition of knowledge in learning by utilizing technology, so students can learn by utilizing learning resources to the maximum.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and describe the role of the principal in improving the quality management of education in Al Rasyid Islamic Elementary School Pekanbaru. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The headmaster of Al Rasyid Islamic Elementary School being a main sample in this research. Data collection techniques using the interview, observation and documentation methods. Analysis of research data using reduction techniques, triangulation and conclusions from research data. The results obtained explained that the principal had carried out various efforts and had played a role in improving the quality management of education in Al Rasyid Islamic Elementary School Pekanbaru. Efforts made include various important roles in terms of leadership and also madrasah management both for teachers, students, infrastructure and also supporters of other schools. Conclusion in this study is the role of the principal is very important in improving the management of education quality and the role of the principal has been carried out in various roles; As educators, managers, administrators, supervisors, leaders, innovators and motivators.

Abstract

Freedom of expression through social media is one of the rights guaranteed in international human rights agreements. Nonetheless, this freedom can create conflict if freedom of expression is used to insult or harass certain groups or religions. This thesis will examine the juridical analysis of religious blasphemy on social media according to human rights. The criminalization of blasphemy in Indonesia is primarily based on two legal documents. Article 156(a) of the Criminal Code criminalizes the expression "enmity, hatred or contempt for" a religious group. A presidential decree enacted in 1965 (PD No. 1/PNPS/1965) broadened the definition of blasphemy to prohibit “distorted interpretations” of religious teachings. Individuals convicted of blasphemy charges can be sentenced to a maximum of four years in prison under the Criminal Code and five years in prison under a presidential decree. This research is a type of library research. The data sources used in this study are secondary data in the form of books, journals, research results and other written sources. Data collection techniques were carried out using the documentation method and review of the written sources. The journals used in this study are journals published in the last 5 years, namely the period 2018-2022. The results of the study show that the human rights law against religious blasphemy in social media in Indonesia is basically contrary to universal human rights recognized in international conventions on freedom of expression. The existing human rights legal arrangements in Indonesia also do not yet cover in detail the limits of freedom of expression on social media which are considered to be religious blasphemy.
