Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the influence of the use of instructional media, specifically PowerPoint and Scratch, on the learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at MTS Islamiyah Pontianak in the subject of Informatics with Computer System material. Using an experimental method and data analysis through SPSS, the results of the study indicate that there is no significant difference in learning outcomes between the group using PowerPoint and the group using Scratch as instructional media. This finding holds important implications for the development of instructional media in the context of Informatics education, demonstrating that both media options have an equal impact on enhancing students' understanding of Computer System material. These findings provide valuable guidance for the development of more effective and engaging teaching strategies in the digital education era.

Abstract

The emergence of intense discussions about character formation is being widely discussed in the world of Indonesian education. Issues such as bullying, violence, intolerance, pornography, elements of SARA, corruption, manipulation, lies in the world of education ranging from cheating on exams to plagiarism, as well as the lack of role models among state leaders, are all actually related to character issues. In an effort to implement character education in an educational institution, the values of character education can be instilled in the learning process of implementing the project based learning model or included in literacy activities in language month activities through students' poetry anthology works by creating works without containing elements of SARA, pornography, bullying, violence and intolerance. This research was conducted using literature study to explore the character education taught in Indonesian language learning in high schools in poetry anthologies. This study concludes that in implementing Indonesian language learning, teachers need to understand the concept of character education and act as curriculum implementers and facilitators for students at school. This aims to ensure that students not only have good competence, but also have commendable behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of marketing on customer satisfaction partially or simultaneously, analyze the influence of marketing on quality partially or simultaneously, analyze the direct and indirect influence of marketing on quality through intervening variables of customer satisfaction. The type of causal associative quantitative research, the population used was 150 customers at the Hafizah Water Refillable Drinking Water Depot, while the number of samples used in the study was 109 respondents. Data collection in this study is a questionnaire with a Likert scale, filling out the questionnaire is that respondents are asked to give opinions about a series of statements related to the object being studied in the form of values. The test tool used is path analysis with SPSS 29 program application tools. The results of this study show that partial and simultaneous marketing has a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction at the Hafizah Water refillable drinking water depot, marketing also partially or simultaneously has a positive and significant influence on the quality of the Hafizah Water refillable drinking water depot, and indirectly marketing on quality through customer satisfaction as an intervening variable has a significant influence on quality at Hafizah Water refillable drinking water depot.

Abstract

This study aims to improve understanding of mathematical concepts on the subject of spatial structure for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 8 Metro Utara Kec. North Metro Metro City of Lampung Province with the application of the Example Non Example learning model using teaching aids. This type of research is experimental research. Participants were fifth grade students at SD Negeri 8 Metro Utara Kec. North Metro, Metro City, Lampung Province, as many as 20 students. The instrument used to collect data in this study was in the form of observation sheets on the implementation of learning mathematics with the application of the Example Non Example learning model, observations of students and teachers, written tests, and documentation. The results of the study showed that efforts to improve the conceptual understanding of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 8 Metro Utara Kec. North Metro, Metro City, Lampung Province, which is proven to have increased. Increased understanding of students' concepts where in the control class with an average N-Gain score of 279.786%, minimum completeness of 6.25% and maximum completeness of 52.27%. and experienced an increase in the experimental class with an average N-Gain score of 420.113, a minimum completeness percentage of 13.04% and a maximum completeness percentage of 71.43%. This shows that this study achieved the specified completeness indicators, namely completeness, namely completeness above 85%.

Abstract

This research is a literature review that explores the use of Scratch learning media in the context of computer systems learning. The literature review method is used to combine and analyze research results that have been previously published in national journals. Scratch, as a visual programming platform, has played an important role in supporting programming learning and understanding of computer concepts at various levels of education. In this research, researchers collected references from previous studies that are relevant to this topic. With a descriptive approach, this research explains and analyzes the development of Scratch use in various forms, including online Scratch projects and Android-based applications. The research results show that Scratch has facilitated more interactive, in-depth, and creative learning for students, increased interest in programming, and expanded inclusive learning opportunities across a variety of subjects. These studies reveal a wide variety in the use of Scratch, from evaluations of its effectiveness to its impact on students' concept understanding and creativity, reinforcing Scratch's role as an educational tool that supports problem solving and concept mastery. In an ever-evolving educational context, Scratch shows exciting and varied potential, leading to a more dynamic and inclusive educational future.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the ability of students in science lessons on the material of forms and changes in energy which is still low in class V students at SDN 33 North Pontianak. Inappropriate learning media used is the cause of low learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of Physics education technology (PhET ) simulation media on student learning outcomes on the material of energy forms and changes. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experiment method. The sample was selected using random sampling technique, class V A as the experimental class and V B as the kontrol class with a total of 60 students. The study used a Pretest -posttest kontrol group design with an acquisition technique in the form of multiple choice. The analysis used is normality test and paired sample T-test and independent t-test. Based on data analysis, a significant value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, mean ing that H0 was rejected and Hα was accepted, with the results of the mean Posttest learning outcomes in the experimental class of 81.5 while the mean Posttest value in the kontrol class was 39.5. Based on the research, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using PhET on the science learning outcomes of students on the material of forms and changes in energy.

Abstract

The reality that occurs at this time, there are still many students who are not independent in learning. The low level of student activeness is caused by students' use of discussion-informative learning methods applied to activities. The study aims to see the difference between Civics learning using conventional media and Civics learning using edmodo media in improving students' independent character. This research is a quantitative experimental research with a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The experimental population is the entire X MIPA class of SMA N 1 Mutiara by taking a sample of 2 classes (control class and experimental class) on condition that the class is held by the same subject teacher. Tests include pre tests and post tests, as well as making observations and distributing questionnaires. To see a significant difference between the control class and the experimental class, the Wilcoxon Match Pair test was conducted at a significance level of 0.005, after the research prerequisites were met. Based on the research, it is known that there is a significant difference between Civics learning using conventional media and Civics learning using edmodo media in increasing student independence at SMA N 1 Mutiara, where the class learning using edmodo media is higher than the class learning using conventional media.

Abstract

An essential concept element for investors is enterprise value, which is a gauge of how the market values a company overall. Examining the company's corporate social responsibility is the goal of this study. Furthermore, we look into how profitability might act as a moderator in the relationship between company value and corporate social responsibility. The research sample consisted of transportation and logistics companies that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the 2021–2022 period. Purposive sampling was used to get samples. Secondary data was gathered from the annual reports and financial reports for 2021–2022 for each sample, or a total of 28 enterprises, using a documentation research gathering approach. In this study, standard assumption testing, hypothesis testing, and moderated regression analysis are among the quantitative methods used. The findings of studies conducted with SPSS 26 demonstrate that corporate social responsibility (CSR) affects business value and profitability, with return on equity (ROE) serving as a moderating variable. However, the relationship between CSR and business value cannot be strengthened.

Abstract

This research investigates and analyzes the legal position of children within the framework of the criminal justice system concerning narcotics offenses, with a specific focus on the diversion mechanism. Diversion serves as the primary focus to explore how the current legal system responds to children's involvement in narcotics cases, as well as the effectiveness and role of diversion in protecting and rehabilitating involved children. The study encompasses an in-depth examination of the legal regulations governing the protection, rehabilitation, and law enforcement concerning children involved in cases of drug abuse.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial interest by including entrepreneurial mindset as a mediating variable. Quantitative descriptive methods are used to gain a clearer understanding of the relationship between variables using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) variants. The research was conducted at SMK YPE Sawunggalih Kutoarjo with a population of 436 students and a sample of 209 students. Data were collected using an online questionnaire assisted by google forms. The findings of this study indicate that entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest and entrepreneurial mindset, then entrepreneurial mindset has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. Finally, the existence of an entrepreneurial mindset is able to mediate the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial interest of vocational students.
