Abstract

This research is entitled Analysis of the history of the entry and development of Islam in the Southeast Asia region. The research aims to describe and analyze the process of the entry and development of Islam in the Southeast Asia region. Islam began to enter Southeast Asia in 7 AD through trade from Arabs. It should be noted that Malay civilization also appeared in Indonesia in 300-200 BC via the eastern route, which ultimately spread to various regions of Indonesia. The data in this research are in the form of words and sentences taken from several educational articles by analyzing the results. The data in this research was collected through 3 stages, namely first, data reduction such as selecting, summarizing and classifying. Second, presenting data with classifications focused on research and third, making conclusions based on data that has been collected based on research. As time goes by, Islam increasingly develops and spreads widely in various regions of Indonesia such as Sumatra, West Java, East Java and other areas.

Abstract

One of the indicators of quality education, the measure is knowledge competency, namely learning achievement. The problems that students often face are anxiety in learning mathematics and students' consistency in learning, which affects their mathematics learning achievement. The purpose of this research is to determine (1) the partial influence of learning anxiety levels on mathematics learning achievement; (2) the partial influence of learning consistency on mathematics learning achievement; and (3) the influence of anxiety level and learning consistency simultaneously on mathematics learning achievement. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach using the correlation survey method. The sampling technique is random sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaire and the validity of the instrument was tested using Pearson Product Moment and the reliability of the instrument used the Cronbach Alpha formula. The data analysis technique for testing the first and second hypotheses is with a partial t test, then testing the third hypothesis with a simultaneous F test. The results of the research show that, (1) there is a positive and significant influence between the partial level of anxiety (X₁) on mathematics learning achievement (Y) as evidenced by the partial t-test showing the calculated t value (6.795) > t table (2.286); (2) there is a positive and significant influence between partial learning consistency (X₂) on mathematics learning achievement (Y) as evidenced by the partial t-test showing the calculated t value (3.786) > t table (2.286); (3) there is a positive and significant influence between anxiety level (X₁) and learning consistency (X₂) simultaneously on mathematics learning achievement (Y) as evidenced by the simultaneous F-test showing the calculated F value (49.814) > F table (3.115). The coefficient of determination is 0.537, which means that the contribution of the independent variables, level of anxiety and learning consistency, has an influence on the dependent variable of mathematics learning achievement of 53.7%. There are still 46.3% other factors that have not been researched which influence mathematics learning achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of post-pandemic smartphone use on students' science learning motivation to find a solution to minimize excessive smartphone use. This type of quantitative research is a survey method with sampling using simple random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques use interview instruments, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of the research are that the gender frequency is 50.6 male and 49.4 female. The results of a simple linear regression of variable X against Y were obtained namely the Sig value. 0.002 < 0.05, and the calculated t value is 3.207 > t table 1.994 and, the contribution size is 11.5%. The conclusion is that the smartphone use variable influences the science learning motivation variable and there are solutions to minimize excessive smartphone use.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence between pedagogic competence and teacher professional competence on the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. This study used a multiple regression analysis with the population being the teacher council of SMPN as many as 30 people and MTsN as many as 35 people with a total of 65 people. The research instruments used were the Variable X1 questionnaire (Pedagogic Competence) of 30 questions that had been tested for validity and reliability, the Variable X2 questionnaire (Teacher Professional Competence) as many as 30 questions that had been tested for validity and reliability, and the Variable Y questionnaire (Implementation of the 2013 Curriculum) as many as 30 questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed the influence of pedagogic competence and professional competence of teachers on the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. From data processing, a double regression equation was obtained between Y = 6.315 + 0.391X1 + 0.377 X2, with a significant level of 0.05 obtained Ftable of 0.66. Because> which is 138.8 >0.66, then reject H0 and accept H1, thus there is an influence of professional competence and pedagogic competence of teachers on the implementation of the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the influence of the application of Problem Based Learning model (PBL) on students' learning outcomes in IPAS subjects in class IV of Negeri Elementary School 03 Pontianak Selatan. The method used is an experiment in the form of Quasi-Experimental Design with a type of one group pre test-post test design. The population is the entire class of IV students consisting of 4 classes. This study sample was class IV A students totaling 28 students and class IV B students totaling 28 students. The data collection technique used is a measurement technique and the data collection tool is a multiple choice shaped written test. Based on the data analysis, the average results of the final tests of the experimental class and the average of the final tests of the control class were obtained. Hypothetical test results using t-test (separates variance) were obtained thitung = 11.9647, while for dk (28 + 28 - 2 = 54) with a significant degree α = 5%, ttable = 2.0518 meaning thitung > ttable, then Ha is accepted, this proves that there is an influence of Problem Based Learning model (PBL) on the outcome of secondary learning in IPAS subjects. Based on the results of the calculation of effect size (ES), ES = 0.62 is obtained, which includes the moderate criterion. Thus, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model has a positive influence on students' learning outcomes in IPAS subjects in class IV SD Negeri 03 Pontianak Selatan.
