Abstract

Management Information System (MIS) comes with sophisticated technology to offer solutions to existing issues. MIS itself governs the utilization of human resources, technology, procedures, and data designed to generate information for an institution or organization. The research method employed in this study is Qualitative. Data collection techniques utilized include Observation Technique (observation), Interview Technique, Documentation Technique, and Triangulation technique. The management information system is actively and continuously developed. Each user of the management information system is entitled to provide positive inputs based on their needs. The management of the Private Islamic Senior High School (Madrasah Aliyah Swasta) YPP Sukamiskin in Bandung City is actively and continuously developed. The collection of Educational Management Information System (EMIS) faces obstacles such as prolonged time, the requirement of an unstable network/internet, and data duplication. The effectiveness of EMIS management at MAS YPP Sukamiskin in Bandung City can be measured through the speed and accuracy of the required data processing.

Abstract

This research has the main purpose to classify and explain the various forms of illocutionary speech acts, both expressive and directive, contained in the comic entitled "Witch Hunt" by Sso Park. The research method applied is descriptive qualitative research. The data source used in this research is the speech uttered by the characters in the comic, which can be accessed through the Line Webtoon application. In an effort to understand conversations in comic narratives, this research uses the pragmatic analysis method. Pragmatic analysis is the study of language use in communication, with a special focus on the relationship between the sentence and the context and situation to which the sentence refers. Speech acts in the context of pragmatic studies are divided into three main categories, namely locution, illocution, and perlocution. The data collection method used in this research is the documentation method, by applying reading and note-taking techniques to obtain the necessary information. Through in-depth analysis, the researcher managed to identify 89 forms of illocutionary speech acts in the comic "Witch Hunt" by Sso Park. Of these, there are 51 expressive illocutionary speech acts and 38 directive illocutionary speech acts.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the use of the Indonesian language in the context of sports training and instruction. This study utilizes a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including participatory observation, interviews with coaches, and analysis of relevant documents on sports training and instruction. The main findings indicate that the use of the Indonesian language in sports training and instruction has a significant impact on athletes' understanding, safety, and performance

Abstract

This research aims to investigates models of language curriculum development in schools. Sometimes referred to as library research or librarianship, this study involves the exploration and acquisition of related materials from various sources, such as magazines, books, and articles on a specific issue. The process has been completed. The result of this research is curriculum development, encompassing the planning and design process by the curriculum model developer, along with activities conducted to transform it into teaching and reference materials to achieve national education goals. In designing the curriculum, teachers can choose from several models of Language Curriculum Development in Schools, including the Curriculum Model developed by Robert S. Zais, Peter F. Olivia, Jack Richard, and Graves. It is crucial to examine the strengths and weaknesses of each curriculum development model. The process of developing a language curriculum involves multiple stakeholders, including education administrators, education experts, curriculum experts, science experts, teachers, parents, and community leaders

Abstract

Literature review is one of the foundations for conducting research. This research aims to produce a learning model design based on Literacy, Orientation, Collaboration and Reflection (LOK-R). This development research adapts the Borg and Gall model, namely 1) needs analysis, 2) product design, 3) product development, 4) product implementation and evaluation. Thirty-one students from the Mathematics Education study program at IKIP PGRI Bojonegro were selected for this research through cluster random sampling. The instruments used in this research include (1) learning design validation guidelines, (2) practical learning implementation guidelines and (3) skill tests for reviewing articles in accredited national journals. Improvement in article reviewing skills is measured using an article review skills test instrument in accredited national journals. This research used two tests, namely a pre-test carried out before treatment and a post-test carried out after treatment. Data analysis in this research used SPSS version 22 statistical software. The results of this research produced a valid, practical and effective LOK-R based learning model design for improving the ability to review articles. The LOK-R based learning model consists of components (1) learning syntax consisting of steps, namely (a) literacy, (b) orientation, (c) collaboration (d) reflection. Reflection in learning in the form of conveying the results that have been learned and constructive comments from colleagues and assessing one's own results

Abstract

This study assesses how principal leadership style and school culture affect teacher effectiveness. Through observations, interviews, and questionnaires, data were gathered from the 100 teachers who completed the quantitative survey. The data were tested using a correlation method, simple and multivariate regression analysis, and other techniques. With an R2 (Coefficient of Determination) of 25%, the findings demonstrated that the principal's leadership style had a favorable and substantial influence on teacher performance. The teacher performance score increased to 72.5 with a one-unit rise in the principal's leadership style score, according to simple linear regression. With an R2 of 27%, school culture also significantly and favorably affects teacher performance. According to the regression, a teacher's performance score of 70.8 will rise with every unit that the school culture score rises. There will be a 48.4 improvement in teacher performance for every point that the principal leadership style and school culture scores are raised, either alone or together

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mencari tahu secara lebih mendalam terkait perbandingan antara kurikulum pendidikan Korea Selatan dan Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu studi kepustakaan. Sumber data pada penelitian ini berasal dari jurnal atau artikel ilmiah. Jurnal dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui google scholar dengan jumlah jurnal yang diperoleh sebanyak 11 jurnal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan diantara kedua Negara yaitu pada kurikulum pendidikannya. Kurikulum pendidikan Korea Selatan memiliki focus pada pemberian bekal kompetensi kepada peserta didik agar siap terjun ke dalam dunia kerja. Sedangkan kurikulum Indonesia berfokus untuk menjawab tantangan era revolusi 4.0. Oleh karena itu, Indonesia perlu mengambil beberapa contoh dari kurikulum pendidikan Korea Selatan terutama dalam mempersiapkan bekal agar peserta didik siap terjun ke dunia kerja mengingat di Negara ini masih banyak masalah pengangguran yang belum terselesaikan. Abstract

Indonesia as a country with the largest number of volcanoes in the world, Mount Merapi which is one of the most active. OIne of its largest eruptions recorded in 2010. Kuning River, which originates into Mount Merapi is affected by cold lava flows. In the research region, there are ten sabo dams that function as cold lava controller, supposedly designed with a 100-year return for volcanic areas. This research focuses on the capacity of rivers and sabo dams to cope with cold lava with return period of 2 to 100-year. Hydraulic modeling of cold lava was performed using non-Newtonian 2D HEC-RAS with DEM data from LiDAR in 2012. Results showed the river was able to flow lava floods 2 to 100-year return period without sabo dams. However, in existing conditions with ten sabo dams, there is flood at upstream of Sabo Dam KU-Rejodani starting from the 5-year return period. This has been validated with calculations that are in line with hydraulic simulation results. To increase river capacity, construction of 1.5-meter high embankment upstream of the KU-Rejodani sabo dam proved to be an effective solution, to increase river capacity up to Q100. This effort supports mitigation for cold lava disaster.

Abstract

There are 4 competencies for a teacher to be said to be professional, namely professional competence, pedagogical competence, social competence. Apart from having to have competence in the professional field, professional teachers must also have competence in the teaching/abilities that he must have include, first, competence for technology commercialization, competence in globalization, competence in future strategy, counselor competence. Industrial Revolution 4.0 in the field of education is defined as the use of technology in the context of the teaching and learning process. This aims to equip graduates with the skills and competencies needed by digital-based industries. The aim of this research is to find out the picture of Professional Teachers in the Industrial Revolution 4.0: Challenges and Opportunities. Namely professional teachers in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era and this research was conducted at one of the Manbaul Ulum Vocational Schools in Cirebon. The data collection technique in this research uses instruments; Direct observation, interviews, and use of observation sheets with a qualitative descriptive design. As well as involving professional teachers as resource persons. The findings of this research indicate that teacher professionalism in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 at SMKS Manbaul Ulum Cirebon is good. Professional teachers have challenges and opportunities. In this research, a professional teacher is required to develop content in the Industrial Revolution 4.0, Hack the Classroom, Able to use Learning Applications 4.0, Literacy Era 4.0, Understand Teaching Trends in 4.0, Use STEAM learning, Use online for learning assessment and educate in accordance with developments over time. And the opportunities in teaching in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 are to provide flexible learning time and place, increase the self-confidence and motivation of a professional teacher, encourage independence, increase creativity, build meaningful English learning, prepare graduates for the world of work and life in the world Work. future, creating opportunities for professional teachers to involve technology in the learning process.

Abstract

Sungai Cipamingkis mengalami degradasi yang cukup parah kurang lebih sepanjang 10 km, mulai dari Bendung Cipamingkis sampai dengan Jembatan Cibarusah. Salah satu akibatnya, terjadi keruntuhan Jembatan Jonggol-Cariu pada ruas sungai tersebut. Upaya penanganan yang dilakukan adalah dengan membangun Groundsill 5 dan Groundsill 6. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bangunan Groundsill 5 dan Groundsill 6 terhadap perubahan dasar Sungai Cipamingkis di sekitar Jembatan Jonggol-Cariu menggunakan HEC-RAS 2D. Simulasi pemodelan dilakukan dengan debit banjir rencana periode ulang 2 dan 100 tahun. Persamaan angkutan sedimen potensial yang digunakan adalah MPM-Toffaletti. Analisis model numerik dibagi menjadi 8 skenario pemodelan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ruas Sungai Cipamingkis dari hulu Jembatan Jonggol-Cariu sampai dengan hilir Groundsill 6 berpotensi mengalami degradasi dasar sungai maksimum mencapai 3,3 m dan pada lokasi sekitar Jembatan Jonggol-Cariu mencapai 2,8 m. Bangunan Groundsill 5 dan Groundsill 6 dapat mengurangi potensi degradasi di sekitar Jembatan Jonggol-Cariu menjadi 0,24 m atau berkurang sebesar 91,1%. Tetapi di hilir bangunan Groundsill 6 potensi degradasi masih cukup tinggi sehingga masih diperlukan upaya penanganan degradasi di hilirnya untuk mengendalikan degradasi Sungai Cipamingkis secara keseluruhan.
