Abstract

The project-based learning model (PJBL) uses projects/activities as goals. Project Based Learning (PjBL) focuses on student activities in the form of collecting information and using that information to create something that is useful for the lives of the students themselves and others. The PjBL Learning (Project Based Learning) model is designed in such a way that students can solve a problem through project activities. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the literacy-based project based learning model on students' creative thinking abilities. The author looked for several relevant sources on Google Scholar and other sources. The researcher applied a systematic literature review method. The main research method of the articles reviewed was quantitative. Based on research results, the project based learning model is very suitable to be applied in the classroom learning process to improve students' creative thinking skills. Because the project based learning model focuses on creating projects as the main learning activity, this will improve creative thinking skills because students will be more freedom in creating or designing a project. And learning experiences can help them improve their creative.

Abstract

This report is a portrait of the digitalization of Arabic education at Pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah, which is conceived as a movement to increase students' enthusiasm for learning and institutional adaptation to technological developments and digitalization. This report based on on other research on personalized learning as a motivation for parents to send their children to Islamic boarding schools during Covid-19, this report encourages Islamic boarding schools to consider learning methods that appeal to millennial students. This article is prepared using field research methods to find that digitalizing Arabic learning can create presentation media in the form of PowerPoint that increases students' enthusiasm for learning. This finding is seen as a new scientifically proven story about the adaptation of Islamic boarding schools to current developments

Abstract

The world of education in Indonesia, especially at the primary and secondary education levels, is faced with the most important and fundamental educational problem, namely the low quality of education. Various observations and analyzes were carried out, resulting in the conclusion that there are more or less three factors that cause the quality of education in Indonesia to not experience significant improvement, namely: the implementation of education in Indonesia uses an "Educational Function" or "input-output analysis" approach which is not carried out consistently. Consequently, the implementation of education is centralized bureaucratic, so that schools are very dependent on bureaucratic decisions and minimal community participation. One of the managerial strategies developed to ensure that a school organization has resilience and vitality in the present and is sustainable into the future is by carrying out a SWOT analysis in order to formulate an organization, both a business company and a social organization. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. This type of research is a library study or can be called a literature study, namely research that limits research activities to materials found in the library without doing any research.

Abstract

A school is an educational institution with a vision, mission, The goals and curriculum are the identity and personality of the school. This Research aims to understand the nature of vision, mission, goals and programs of the two schools, and to determine the alignment of vision and the objectives of the mission as well as the program applied at the two agricultural professional schools. This research method is descriptive – comparative that's quality. The data analysis techniques used were consistent comparison, is the step of comparing the events that can be applied to each type, the integration stages of the types and their characteristics, the stage of determining the theoretical scope and the stage of writing the theory theory. Research results show the relevance of vision, Missions, goals and programs have become ideals or dreams realized in the future school.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to improve student mathematics learning outcomes through the Problem Based Learning model in class VIII-4 SMPN 2 Bandar Khalipah on Lines and Series material. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects in this research were 20 students in class VIII-4 of SMPN 2 Bandar Khalipah. The instruments in this research consisted of tests and observation sheets. The results of the initial ability test show that the average student mathematics learning ability is 28.44, including the Very Poor ability category. In cycle I, the test results showed that the average student mathematics learning ability was 74.06, including the Sufficient ability category. In cycle II, the test results showed that the average student mathematics learning ability was 80.94, including the Good ability category. From the observation results, it was found that the average value of the learning process in cycle I was 2.71, including the Good category, and cycle II was 3.32 in the Very Good category. With this increase, it was concluded that by implementing the problem based learning model there was an increase in the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII-4 students at SMPN 2 Bandar Khalipah.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of self-confidence on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. The study involved 27 students from class VIII A at SMPN 4 Bandar Lampung. The method employed in this research was a quantitative approach using data analysis techniques such as regression analysis and characterized as an ex-post facto study. The research instruments included a test of critical thinking abilities consisting of 8 items that underwent processes of validity testing, reliability testing, difficulty level assessment, and discriminant power testing. Additionally, there was a student perception questionnaire regarding teacher performance consisting of 25 statement scales adopted from Febriandari Siwi (2021) with indicators: a) Confidence in one's abilities; b) Independence, responsibility, and desire for high achievement; c) Persistence; d) Willingness to take action. The findings of this study indicate that self-confidence does not have a significant influence on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. There might be other factors, such as family support, learning motivation, or teaching methods, which were not encompassed in this research. Each student responds uniquely to mathematical challenges, hence the impact of teacher performance may vary among individuals and necessitates further consideration. The results suggest that factors beyond self-confidence play a crucial role in developing students' mathematical critical thinking skills. Educators and researchers can further explore these factors for a more comprehensive understanding, considering the relevance of outcomes within specific learning contexts and student characteristics. Despite the absence of a detected significant influence, practical implications include efforts to enhance other factors supporting students' mathematical abilities, such as developing additional teaching strategies or improving family support and environmental factors outside the classroom

Abstract

The study on 'The Role of Parents in Enhancing Reading Interest Among 4th Grade Students at MIN 8 Aceh Tengah' reveals several significant findings. The reading interest of 4th-grade students at MIN 8 Aceh Tengah appears to be limited, with an average percentage of approximately 50%. Factors such as low student interest and the impact of two years of online learning are primary contributors to this reduced reading enthusiasm. On the other hand, the role of parents is considered relatively effective in boosting children's reading interest, with an average percentage of around 85%. Parental efforts in providing motivation, attention, and support in guiding children to read and providing reading materials are crucial factors in this regard. However, obstacles faced by parents in enhancing their children's reading interest include a lack of children's inclination to read, easily getting bored while reading, and preferring to play with friends rather than reading.

Abstract

The demographics that occurred in this decade have had a significant influence on Indonesia's social, political, economic and cultural systems. Youth who are the drivers of the demographic bonus are quickly taking positions and roles in the world of employment and political platforms and ideals that intersect with the realm of capitalism. In taking a role in the flow of the economic system, some young people feel they have the potential and freedom to develop their business and personal potential through entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the younger generation is trying to take on the role of being a social entrepreneurial agent. Socioentrepreneurship is nothing new for some young people as the key to reducing the level of inequality in Indonesia. Apart from that, the emergence of the smart city trend is a challenge for the government to collaborate with the private sector and civil society to create a good social business ecosystem in villages. On the other hand, smart villages are an attractive output as a mainstreaming goal of sociopreneurship. Empowerment and the creative economy become a playing field for youth and society to carry out social business. Moreover, with its natural potential and international market share, history has always looked at the creative products of Indonesian youth. So, this is not difficult to achieve. This article is a partial summary of the author's experience interacting over several years with start-ups, creative economy entrepreneurs, the social business community and social entrepreneurs in society. From the results of this article, it was found that young people with a variety of very fast and sophisticated technologies are starting to view social business opportunities as a survival option amidst their limited ability to find work. Social entrepreneurship is one of the keys for Indonesia to accelerate rapid and equitable economic and social development.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze what is method translation English to Indonesia which used by the Mariposa and The Fairy Princess movie based on Newmark’s Theory. This research use qualitative method. Researcher use subtitle of Mariposa and the Fairy Princess has been translated from English Language (SL) into Indonesia language (TL) as the data. The results of this study is find out the method use of Mariposa and the Fairy Princess movie, that is there are 104 data use word-for- word translation method there are 33 data or use Literal Translation. There are 110 data use Faithful Translation. There are 101 data use Semantic Translation, There are 9 data use Free Translation, There are 52 data or use Idiomatic Translation. There are 10 data or use Communicative Translation. In addition ib the subtitle of Mariposa and the Fairy Princess the most used method is Faithful Translation Method.

Abstract

Pada tanggal 26 Agustus 2019, Bapak Presiden Indonesia, Ir. H. Joko Widodo menyampaikan pernyataan resmi perihal Pemindahan Ibukota Indonesia yang baru. Dikatakan bahwa sebutan Ibu Kota Negara Baru yaitu Ibu Kota Nusantara yang terbagi kedalam beberapa Kawasan. Menurut Perpres No. 64 Tahun 2022 Tentang Rencana Tata Ruang Kawasan Strategis Nasional Ibu Kota Nusantara Tahun 2022-2024, terdapat 2 (dua) kawasan inti yaitu Kawasan Inti Pusat Pemerintahan (KIPP) dan Kawasan Ibukota Negara (K-IKN). Pada wilayah KIPP banyak perencanaan dan pembangunan infrastruktur yang sedang berjalan. Namun pos curah hujan yang tersedia di lokasi pada umumnya sangat minim. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dapat digunakan data hujan satelit GPM. Pos hujan yang berada di sekitar KIPP berjumlah 10 pos curah hujan. Data satelit GPM yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Daily accumulate precipitation estimate-final run (GPM-3IMERGDF v06). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan analisis dilakukan pada 6 pos curah hujan dikarenakan panjang data pos curah hujan yang lain kurang dari 3 tahun. Dari hasil korelasi bulanan, pos curah hujan BMKG Sepinggan memiliki korelasi paling tinggi yaitu 0,8. Kemudian dilakukan koreksi data harian didapatkan Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) sebesar 0,64 %. Pada koreksi hujan harian maksimum tahunan (HHMT) didapatkan error sebelum dan sesudah koreksi 0,22 – 0,03. Berdasarkan hasil koreksi data GPM tersebut dengan pos hujan BMKG Sepinggan, data GPM tersebut memenuhi uji kualitas data dan dapat digunakan dalam analisis perhitungan hidrologi.
