Abstract

This study aims to explain the validity, practicality and effectiveness of multirepresentation-based LKPD products in improving junior high school students' problem solving skills in science learning. The research method applied is Research and Development by applying the ADDIE development model which involves 5 stages. Techniques used in data collection involve observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests and documentation. Instruments to collect data include validation sheets, learning implementation observation sheets, test sheets, and questionnaire sheets. The average percentage of validity of multirepresentation-based LKPD reached 86.97%, which was categorized as valid. Meanwhile, the practicality score of multirepresentation-based LKPD has an average percentage of 86.45%, which is categorized as very practical. The effectiveness of multirepresentation-based LKPD measured through the N-gain formula is 0.53, including in the category of moderate success. In addition, student responses in the questionnaire reached an average percentage of 85.39%, which indicated that student responses were in the very good category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of multirepresentation-based LKPD is considered to have a fairly high level of validity, practicality and effectiveness in improving junior high school students' problem solving skills in science learning.

Abstract

Based on data in the field, the creativity of PGMI students in the 6th semester of IAI Uluwiyah Mojokerto is still relatively low, this can be seen from the lack of focus and enthusiasm of students in participating in the learning process, students easily give up on the material they have just received, many students ignore the lecturer's explanation because of the method. So far, lecturers have been conventional, the learning strategies carried out are centered on the lecturer so that students tend to be passive and feel bored. The aim of this research is to increase the creativity of PGMI IAI Uluwiyah Mojokerto students by implementing the CapCut application to create learning videos. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in 2 cycles. From the results of data analysis and discussion, it is concluded that the application of the CapCut application to create learning videos can increase the creativity of PGMI IAI Uluwiyah Mojokerto 6th semester students in the 2022/2023 academic year. The results of observations in cycle 1 showed that student creativity achieved good enough grades with a percentage reaching 65%. In cycle 2, the percentage gain reached 85%. This shows that the increase in student creativity from cycle 1 to cycle 2 increased by 20%.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the internalization of values related to manners in eating and drinking among early childhood through Islamic cartoon animations at RA El Syarifah in Medan. The research method employed is qualitative descriptive. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis using the steps of collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that the introduction of Islamic manners through cartoon animations is effective in shaping religious character in early childhood. This process occurs not only during the imparting of knowledge but also through the exemplary role of teachers and daily practices of eating and drinking in accordance with manners. Consistency in applying moral values related to eating and drinking manners is a key factor in shaping religious character, and examples provided by teachers play a crucial role. Mealtime is identified as an effective moment for early childhood to apply their knowledge, aligning with their cognitive developmental stages. The research concludes that religious character can be instilled from an early age through daily activities, particularly in eating and drinking, relying on Islamic teachings. In addition to knowledge, character formation also requires habits and guidance from teachers as role models. These results are expected to serve as a foundation for further research in the context of developing Islamic religious education for early childhood.

Abstract

Reading is a complex and complicated process to master in practice. Lack of comprehension skills in beginning reading is caused by factors that come from within the student and factors from outside the student. One alternative that can be used in learning beginning reading is smart wheel media. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The purpose of this study was to examine the use of smart wheel media as an alternative in improving the beginning reading skills of grade I elementary school students. Through the use of Smart Wheel media, it can be effective in helping grade I elementary students develop beginning reading skills. With a creative, interactive approach, and involving all students, the use of this media can create a pleasant learning atmosphere and support the development of reading skills in the early stages of learning.

Abstract

The content of the research is to analyze differences in religious behavior, leadership character, enthusiasm for learning between students from Madrasah Aliyah and Senior High School backgrounds. The type of research is quantitative-comparative. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses Independent Sample T Test Statistics. The research population was second, fourth and sixth semester students with 101 students as respondents. The variables in this research are religious behavior, leadership character, enthusiasm for learning. Research result: (1) there is no significant difference in religious behavior between students from Madrasah Aliyah and High School backgrounds at the Uluwiyah Mojokerto Islamic Institute. This can be seen from the calculated t value < t table (-0.515 < 1.984) with sig 0.608 > α = 0.05, df = 99, F = 1.206 with 0.275, mean difference -0.965, and standard error difference = 1.874. (2) there is no significant difference in leadership character between students from Madrasah Aliyah and High School backgrounds at the Uluwiyah Islamic Institute, Mojokerto. This can be seen from the value of t calculated < t table (-0.923 < 1.984) with sig 0.358 > α = 0.05, df = 99, F = 1.859 with 0.176, mean difference -1.576, and standard error difference = 1.707. 3) there is no significant difference in enthusiasm for learning between students from Madrasah Aliyah and High School backgrounds at the Uluwiyah Mojokerto Islamic Institute. This can be seen from the calculated value of t < t table (-1.341 < 1.984) with sig 0.183 > α = 0.05, df = 99, F = 0.038 with 0.845, mean difference -2.634, and standard error difference = 1.965

Abstract

“Sekolah Penggerak” Program is a program to encourage the transformation process of educational units to realize the Pancasila student profile which was launched online on February 1 2021. The city of Binjai was chosen to implement this program during the 2nd Generation of Mobilization School. And there were 14 schools selected, namely 2 Kindergarten schools (TK), 8 Elementary Schools (SD), 2 Middle Schools (SMP), and 2 High Schools (SMA). Among the selected school levels, only the Elementary School (SD) level was selected more often than the others. So the proposer is interested in analyzing the implementation of the “Sekolah Penggerak” program in 8 elementary schools (SD) throughout Binjai Municipality and collecting the learning achievements that have been obtained by students. From the research results, it was found that students were more motivated and enthusiastic in learning. This is because the learning programs in the “Sekolah Penggerak” program are interesting and more fun. Students are invited to be more active and creative in learning through innovative learning models. Thus, this research intends to provide information to other education providers regarding the achievement of activities and learning achievements of students in the “Sekolah Penggerak” program in the Binjai Municipality so that they can motivate other schools to participate in implementing the “Sekolah Penggerak” program. In this way, it is hoped that this research will be useful for teachers and other educational institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Stoicism values ​​on the development of moral character, dynamics of social relationships, and acceptance of destiny in the film "The Shawshank Redemption". The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, by identifying and describing in depth the Stoicism values ​​reflected in the film narrative. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to explore the philosophical and social implications contained in the depiction of stoicism in the film. The research results show that stoicism values, such as loyalty, trust, cooperation, and acceptance of fate, have a significant impact on the moral character that develops in the prison context. The dynamics of social relationships between characters, especially between Andy Dufresne and Red, are reflected as clear evidence of how Stoicism values ​​enrich human interactions in difficult conditions. Acceptance of fate, as the essence of stoicism, is illustrated through the character of Andy, who is able to maintain his composure and even make a positive impact in the harsh prison environment. The results of this research provide in-depth insight into how the philosophy of Stoicism can be applied in everyday life and create positive values ​​amidst difficult life challenges.

Abstract

The use of learning media has a crucial role in the implementation of the teaching and learning process, with adjustments to the use of media that consider the needs of students to make it easier for them to follow each sub-learning. One form of learning media that can be used is the Fun Easy Learn application, which is specifically designed to provide a word play experience to improve understanding and fluency in learning Arabic. This application is an interesting educational game, presenting various games such as matching words, completing words, and others. All these games are designed to stimulate all the senses of the learner, helping students understand Arabic more easily. The main goal is to make it easier for students in MTs Darul Jalal to develop mastery of Arabic vocabulary. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the extent of the impact of Fun Easy Learning application media on the mastery of mufrodat in students in MTs Darul Jalal. The research approach used is qualitative, with literature review as the data collection stage. The process of data analysis involves interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the application of learning media, especially using the Fun Easy Learning application, proved effective in increasing students' understanding of mufrodite. There are factors that influence outcomes, such as variations in student learning styles, including visual, kinesthetic, and auditory styles, that need to be adjusted to the type of learning media used.

Abstract

Leadership is a form of scientific and artistic study, which explains how to become a leader who can be a good example for others. Leadership is the ability that a person has in creating a comfortable environment and being able to influence a group or other people in achieving the desired goals. In the process of influencing, this is done by arranging sentences and words, then providing exemplary examples for those they lead through advice on policies that have been agreed upon jointly.In order for an organization to be successful and achieve the goals set based on the Al- Qur'an and Hadith, leaders have a big responsibility. A leader has great authority in running a company. This includes supervision, operation, regulation and institutional structuring. The personality of a leader is compared to the face of an organization. In the view of society, especially the individuals they lead, the organization will also have a positive reputation if its leaders excel. Therefore, in this situation it is very important for a leader to understand and master the ideas, components and characteristics of leadership from a leadership perspective. Therefore, the aim of this article is to provide a clearer explanation regarding the meaning, theory, components, characteristics and application of leadership attitudes in terms of the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. Research from libraries and literature reviews were used in this research. Because the information or sources used to compile this article—such as books, journals, and other materials—come from libraries, it is called library research.

Abstract

This study generally aims to analyze the effect of guided practice method assisted by animation media on the writing skills of simple Indonesian essays of third grade students of SDN 08 South Pontianak. This research used experimental research method with quasi experimental design. The sampling used was simple random sampling. Measurement technique was used in this study as a data collection technique in the form of a test. Based on statistical calculations, the control class post-test result was 64.00 while the experimental class post-test result was 79.43. The results showed that there was a difference in students' simple essay writing skills between after and before applying the guided practice method assisted by animated media. Previously, students' simple essay writing skills were still low, there were many writing errors and lack of skill in finding ideas for the essay. After applying the guided practice method assisted by animated media, students' essay writing improved and students' motivation in finding simple essay ideas increased. Thus, based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that there is an effect of applying the guided practice method assisted by animated media on the writing skills of simple Indonesian essays of third grade students of SDN 08 South Pontianak.
