Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of food and beverage menu variety on students' purchasing decisions when using the GrabFood application. Menu variety is considered a crucial factor that may affect consumers' preferences and purchasing decisions in the context of online food and beverage purchases. The research method employs simple linear regression to analyze data collected from 69 student samples who are GrabFood application users, selected from the population of students using the application at a university campus. The results of data analysis indicate a positive and significant influence of food and beverage menu variety on students' purchasing decisions in the GrabFood application, highlighting the importance for service providers like GrabFood to expand menu variety to enhance consumer satisfaction and loyalty, as well as to strengthen the company's position in the online food delivery industry. Therefore, recommendations are provided to continuously improve menu variety in the application, and to further understand consumer preferences and needs to enhance purchasing decisions and strengthen the company's market position.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Gender Diversity and Directors' Remuneration in improving firm performance and test whether the Public Visibility of company can strengthen Gender Diversity and Directors' Remuneration on firm performance. The population in this study is state-owned companies listed on the IDX in 2018-2022. By using puposive sampling, 26 companies were selected as samples. The data analysis technique in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. In this study, Gender Diversity is measured by the percentage of female board of directors, Directors’ Remuneration is measured by ratio between remuneration and NBT, Public Visibility is measured by GSV (Google Search Volume). In the other hand, Firm Performance is measured by ROE (Return On Equity). The results prove that Gender Diversity and Directors' Remuneration have a negative effect on firm performance. However, the presence of Public Visibility as a moderating variable can strengthen can strengthen the relationship between Gender Diversity and Directors' Remuneration to Firm Performance. In other words, the higher the Gender Diversity and Remuneration of the Board of Directors balanced with high Public Visibility will be followed by an increase in Firm Performance.

Abstract

This research is conducted with the intention of enhancing the learning outcomes of students in class XI-TITL 4 at SMA Negeri 2 Medan through the implementation of a problem-based learning methodology. Two cycles of four stages—planning, doing, observing, and reflecting make up the classroom action research methodology. Thirty individuals, all from class XI-TITL 4, were the subjects of this study. Tests, observations, and documentation are the means of data gathering, while descriptive analysis is the tool of choice for data analysis. According to the study's findings, pupils' average mathematics learning outcomes also improved throughout the two cycles, rising from 70.83 to 79.48. Aside from that, cycle I had a completion rate of 57% and cycle II had a completion rate of 87% for student learning. The study that has been conducted suggests that instructional materials that employ a problem-based learning approach can enhance the learning outcomes for students.

Abstract

The circumstances in the educational setting are what spurred this investigation where there is still minimal use of online-based learning media, as well as teaching staff who have not yet mastered the use of this media. This causes learning in class to become less interactive and boring, thereby reducing students' learning motivation. To address this issue, the suggested remedy is the use of online-based learning media, one of which is Google Form media. The goal of this study is to assess and collect trustworthy data about how online learning resources affect the motivation of SMK Negeri 7 Jakarta's class X Graphic Engineering students to learn. A sample of 43 respondents was selected using a straightforward random sampling methodology from a population of 287 students for this quantitative study. Forms of documentation, questionnaires, and observation were used to gather data. The method of data analysis makes use of product moment correlation. The product moment correlation coefficient, or "rxy" or "ro", according to the study's findings, is 0.530%, meaning that the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. This indicates that SMK Negeri 7 Jakarta students' motivation to learn is significantly impacted by the utilization of online learning resources.

Abstract

The low level of student participation in the teaching and learning process can be attributed to teachers' limited use of learning media in the classroom. This finding is based on observations conducted by the researcher in the fourth grade at SDN 1 Tambaksogra. The insufficient engagement of students in learning leads to a lack of comprehension of the lessons delivered by the teacher. This study aims to support the teaching process in elementary schools by developing visual learning media using augmented reality. Specifically, it focuses on the subject of natural and social science (IPAS). This research aims to create an interactive and user-friendly augmented reality-based visual learning medium that enhances student participation and facilitates a better understanding of the material. The research employs the ADDIE model. Data collection instruments include validation questionnaires from media and material experts, practical response questionnaires from teachers and students, and pre-test and post-test assessments. The results indicate that the developed augmented reality-based media received a score of 98%, signifying high validity. The material expert validation scored 80%, indicating validity. The student response questionnaire scored 95%, categorizing the developed media as highly practical. The pre-test and post-test results yielded an N-Gain score of 0.5, meeting the criteria for effectiveness.

Abstract

This research observation was motivated by the differences in cognitive abilities possessed by students at one of the schools in Magetan district, namely SMPN 1 Takeran and this observation aimed to determine the effect of implementing differentiated learning through the TaRL approach on the learning outcomes of class VIII students in quadrilateral material. This observation was carried out in class VIII C at SMP Negeri 1 Takeran for the 2023/2024 academic year. The observation subjects were 26 students. The method used in this observation is the classroom action observation method which consists of a pre-cycle and two cycles (cycle 1 and cycle 2). Observation results show that the application of differentiated learning through the Teaching at The Right Level approach can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in quadrilateral material with the achievement of learning completeness which initially in the pre-cycle was 38.46% with 11 students above the KKM and then increased in the first cycle became 57.96% with 17 students above the KKM and increased again in the second cycle to 100% with all students above the KKM. So the observation was declared successful.

Abstract

Based on the results of observations made by researchers regarding the measurement ability of children aged 5-6 years at Two M Kid's Kindergarten, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City, they tend to experience difficulties, so the researcher aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and measurement ability in children. The type of research carried out was quantitative correlation, using a saturated sampling technique. So, the entire population, namely children in Two M Kid's Kindergarten aged 5-6 years, totaling 45 children were used as samples. This research uses observation sheets to collect data. Data analysis uses product moment correlation analysis and t test with SPSS ver 25. The results of the correlation relationship show a sig value of 0.00 so the sig value is smaller than 0.05 so it is said to be correlated. Meanwhile, the Pearson correlation value is 0.655, included in the interval 0.60-0.799 with a strong level of relationship. It is known that the t tabel has a value of 2.0180 with t hitung calculated of 5.87, thus there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and the measuring ability of children aged 5-6 years at Two M Kid's Kindergarten, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

This research aims to knowing the effect of introduction to the school field on the readiness to become teachers and knowing the influence of organizational activity on the readiness to become teachers of UNS Economics Education Students. This research uses quantitative research methods with a population of 170 students and a sample of 120 students consisting of active Economic Education students from the class of 2019 and 2020. The sampling technique used was probability sampling with a proportional random sampling sub-technique. The validity and reliability testing techniques used in this research are Korelasi Product Moment and Cronbach’s Alpha. The data collection method used was a questionnaire distributed online. Data analysis in this study used Multiple Linear Regression which was calculated with the help of SPSS version 25 software. The results of the study showed that (1) there was a positive influence between introduction to the school field on readiness to become a teacher, (2) there was a positive influence between organizational activity on readiness to become a teacher.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology encourages the emergence of the latest innovations in various aspects of human life, including education. One popular innovation in education is the use of gamification-based educational applications. This application is packaged in an interesting and interactive way, like a game, for example, the duolingo game. The duolingo game is an application that presents language learning materials in the form of interactive and fun games or challenges. Apart from being an educational game, this duolingo application can also improve linguistic abilities in students. This study aims to determine the effect of the application or implementation of the duolingo game on linguistic abilities in students. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting literature related to the title of the study or discussion taken. From the research that has been done, the results show that the implementation of the duolingo game has a significant positive effect on students' linguistic abilities, and can increase students' enthusiasm or enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze students' ability to understand mathematical concepts in flat-sided spatial figures in terms of learning styles in class VIII-8 UPT SMP Negeri 8 Medan. This research method uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques from questionnaire results in the form of a Google form which contains aspects of learning styles accompanied by indicators that must be answered and observations of learning activities. The written test used in this research was in the form of description questions regarding material on the flat side of a cube. This research was conducted in class VIII-8 UPT SMP Negeri 8 Medan which also served as the research subject. Based on the research results, most students in class VIII-8 UPT SMP Negeri 8 Medan for the 2023/2024 academic year have a visual learning style with a total of 82.43%, an auditory learning style 60.9% and a kinesthetic learning style 46.5%. Students have a tendency towards one of the visual, auditory or kinesthetic learning styles. Of the 31 students, it was found that 19 students had a tendency towards a visual learning style, 10 students had a tendency towards an auditory learning style and 2 students had a tendency towards a kinesthetic learning style. So it can be concluded overall that each student with a different learning style has a different understanding of mathematical concepts.
