Abstract

This research aims to assess efforts to increase women's participation through home industry activities to improve economic welfare in Bandar Selamat, Medan Tembung District. It is noted that women's role in the family economy is often minimal and often depends on the husband's income. Based on Moser's empowerment theory, as quoted by Bogong Suyanto and Emy Susanti, women's empowerment is not about dominating men, but about increasing women's independence and internal strength. This research question covers the factors underlying women's empowerment in Bandar Selamat and the steps women take to improve the family economy. This research aims to identify these factors and evaluate the efforts made by women in the context of improving family economic welfare.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of the principal's leadership style and teacher professionalism on teacher performance at MI Muslimat NU Pucang Sidoarjo, with the main focus on improving the quality of education. In facing demands for improving the quality of education, serious attention to key factors such as the leadership style of school principals and the level of teacher professionalism needs to be researched. Through regression analysis, this research provides evidence that the principal's leadership style and the level of teacher professionalism have a significant contribution to teacher performance. An effective leadership style, which includes the principal's ability to provide direction, motivate and create a positive work environment, is considered a crucial element in establishing a quality learning process. Meanwhile, the level of teacher professionalism, which involves commitment to self-development, work ethics, and the ability to integrate the latest knowledge in learning, is also considered important for improving the quality of education. These findings strengthen the understanding that effective leadership and teacher professionalism have a positive impact in achieving the goal of improving the quality of education. Given the complex relationships between these variables, this research provides valuable insights for education stakeholders, especially in designing strategies and policies that support teacher professional growth and well-being.

Abstract

A number of students had difficulty understanding the lesson material. The causes can vary, ranging from lack of focus (low concentration), failure in self-confidence (low self-efficacy), to a mismatch in the learning methods used. This research aims to investigate how learning concentration, self-efficacy, and learning methods interact with each other and contribute to students' understanding of the material at MA As-Sa'adah Lampah Kedamean Gresik. This research uses a quantitative approach which will be used in this research to measure the influence of variables such as learning concentration, self-efficacy, and learning methods on students' understanding of the material. From the research it can be concluded that this third factor has a significant role in determining students' level of understanding. High learning concentration allows students to focus fully on learning material, acquire information more effectively, and encourage deeper understanding. This emphasizes the need to create a learning environment that is conducive to improving student concentration, including reducing distractions and providing necessary support.

Abstract

In order to realize good learning achievement, teachers as educators are expected to have good learning motivation within themselves as well as the supporting capacity of learning facilities for the teacher, as well as improving student learning discipline well. This research has a very important and relevant aim, especially in the context of improving the quality of education at MTsS AL AZHAR Paseseh, Tanjungbumi District, Bangkalan Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach that will be used in this research to measure the influence of variables such as learning motivation, learning facilities, and learning discipline on student learning achievement. Based on this research, it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between learning motivation, learning facilities, and learning discipline and student learning achievement at MTsS AL AZHAR Tanjungbumi Bangkalan.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the implementation of policies made by the village government towards BUMDs in Sindang Sari Village, Pabuaran Subdistrict, Banten. The method used in this article uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely data collection using interview techniques and writing foundations supported by literature review in line with the discussion discussed in this article. The results show that the implementation of BUMD management policies in Sindang Sari Village still faces many challenges. Although the village government has made efforts to harmonize policies and regulations regarding BUMDs, the level of community participation is still small. This is due to the lack of a consistent and effective outreach program. Many parties are willing to join the BUMDes program either as funders or collaborators. This is due to the low level of community trust in the management of the BUMD and the lack of social support for the benefits provided by the BUMD for the welfare of the village.

Abstract

The results of this research show that effective political communication in Raya Palka Sindangsari Village has succeeded in increasing transparency and accountability in village government, accelerating public services, and increasing community participation and satisfaction. The village government implements various communication strategies such as regular meetings, use of social media and information technology, as well as public awareness campaigns to actively involve the community in decision making. Implementation of budget transparency programs and public consultation forums are examples of initiatives that have succeeded in increasing public trust and participation. However, this research also found several obstacles, such as limited access to technology in several areas and low digital literacy in society. Overall, this research highlights the importance of political communication in creating village government that is effective and responsive to community needs. The recommendations given include increasing access to technology and digital literacy education to support effective political communication in this village.

Abstract

The pandemic in Indonesia has an impact on life, especially education. This research aims to explain the independent curriculum as an attempt to address the learning loss post pandemic that is occurring in Indonesia. This article is intended to provide information and an overview of any aspect offered by an independent curriculum about how the planning, implementation and evaluation of the curricula itself is independent, as far as providing solutions in the world of education to cope with the learning crisis that occurs after pandemic. This article used the method of Library Research. Library research is gathering data information from a variety of sources, such as books, articles, and journals, relevant to the research topic of Indarta et al. (2022). In this case, researchers gather library data, information that has been previously documented in the form of books, magazines, and articles. The output of this study show that a new curriculum has been created, namely that the Government's Free Curriculum is able to deal with the phenomenon of learning loss that occurs after a pandemic among pupils.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing the small sided games method on students' shooting skills in extracurricular futsal at Al-Islam Krian High School. This research is a Quasi Experimental research. The design used in this research is one group pretest-posttest. The sample was 30 students who took active extracurricular activities in futsal. Data was obtained by carrying out a test using a basic shooting technique skills test instrument using the back of the foot directed towards a goal that already has a target point. Based on data analysis through paired sample T-test which is seen through the t-count value with t-table of -6.654 > 1.699 and a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so there is a difference in students' shooting skills between before and after being given treatment, namely small sided games. The percentage increase in students' shooting skills using the small side game method is in the low category, namely 25.82%.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the impact of cooperative learning approaches with jigsaw types on student activity. Based on initial observations, the researchers found that students looked bored, inactive in learning, like lazy in answering questions, and embarrassed to express their opinions. This is due to some factors such as conventional learning, teachers dominating learning, the absence of learning media, as well as the lack of learning strategies given to students, such as jigsaw-type cooperative learning. This research uses an approach with a type of qualitative research that is descriptive, although data collection techniques are direct observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use Milles and Huberman data analysis techniques that have three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and inference. Through this research, the results were obtained that student activity can be improved while following learning through collaborative jigsaw-type stimulation.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk bahan ajar cetak berorientasi kearifan lokal dalam materi “Negaraku Indonesia” pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar yang valid dan layak digunakan untuk membantu proses pembelajaran pada kurikulum merdeka. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengadaptasi model 4-D. sampel penelitian ini adalah 3 validator pada aspek materi memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 3,80 dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”, aspek bahasa memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 3,53 dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak”, dan aspek desain memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 3,20 dengan kriteria “Layak” terhadap bahan ajar cetak berorientasi kearifan lokal yang dikembangkan. Hasil ini didukung dari hasil kegiatan uji coba pengembangan berdasarkan respon guru yang memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 100% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik” dan respon peserta didik sebesar 87,12% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik kelas IV tertarik dan memahami bahan ajar cetak berorientasi kearifan lokal dikarenakan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan menyesuaikan budaya lokal Kalimantan Barat. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar cetak berorientasi kearifan lokal layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.
