Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out descriptively the learning success of class VI students at SDN Perdopo 02 who studied with audiovisual media and did not learn with audiovisual media. Based on this comparison, the aim is to find out the science learning outcomes of class VI students at SDN Perdopo 02 in odd semesters between being taught with and without audio-visual media. The results showed that students in grade VI at SDN Perdopo 02 had a very high learning rate with an average of 23,500 audio-visual media and studied without audio-visual media. audiovisual media in the high category, an average of 18,500. The t-test gives tcount = 3.999 and p = 0.001 if p <0.01, so that comparing the results of the t-test it is concluded that a very significant value makes a difference in achievement in science learning from class VI SDN Perdopo 02 for students with audiovisual media and without audiovisual media.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop learning media based on waste sorting games. This development research was carried out using the Research & Development development model developed by Sugiyono through ten stages, namely potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial, product revision, usage trial, product revision, and product resulting from. The target of this research is the fourth grade elementary school students who are studying natural appearance material. The results of this study are that the development of learning media is very interactive and can be used as a supporting medium to increase students' sense of environmental care.

Abstract

This article aims to find out and analyze the management of students in educational institutions. This paper examines the management of students in educational institutions. This article method uses the literature study method which relies on data sourced from books, articles in scientific journals related to the subject matter. Management is a process that contributes to individuals and groups understanding how to manage things, just like managing students. Thus the management of students in educational institutions is a process for managing students in order to achieve predetermined educational goals. And those who manage these students are educational institutions (schools) and educators in these educational institutions.

Abstract

The role of money in economic activity is as a transaction tool. Al-Ghazali's thought that money should be made of gold and silver. So, it is necessary to conduct an in-depth study of fiat money as a reference or basis for everyone. The method in this research is a literature review that has primary sources from Ihya Ulum Al-Din by Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali and secondary sources from books that examine the concept of fiat maney. Data analysis uses content analysis. Money has no price but can reflect the price of all goods or services. Al-Ghazali's strict prohibitions related to money include hoarding money, counterfeiting currency, and the practice of buying and selling currency. The use of fiat money in Al-Ghazali's thought should be made of gold and silver to avoid usury transactions, because according to him gold and silver are currencies that have stable value. Al-Ghazali strickly rejected the use of fiat money with the reason that currencies other than gold and silver could disrupt the stability of currency values and have an impact on the decline of the country's economy.

Abstract

Communication is a symbolic process, one of the basic human needs, symbolization or the use of symbols. Therefore, this study aims to find out that communication is a symbolic process, one of the basic human needs, symbolization or use of symbols, content and space for communication, and communication taking place in various levels of gaps. This study used a qualitative approach with library research and content analysis techniques. The result of this research is that communication is used to channel information and a meaning through certain media according to the situation.

Abstract

Teacher competence is a set of knowledge, skills, and behaviors that must be possessed, internalized, and mastered by teachers in carrying out their professional duties. Teacher competencies as learning agents at the primary and secondary education levels as well as early childhood education are: pedagogic, personality, professional, and social competencies. With skill requirements, a teacher must master the skills covering: opening and closing lessons, asking questions, providing reinforcement, and conducting various teaching. In the teaching and learning process, the teacher also acts as a director as well as an actor. This factor is very important so that it is expected to determine the success of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The type of research used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative type of research. The results of the study obtained that the competence possessed by a teacher in teaching greatly affects the learning outcomes of students.

Abstract

Theoretically, third grade elementary school students are still in the ability to think concretely and view everything as a whole. Meanwhile, based on observations of class III students at SDN Pangkemiri I Tulangan Sidoarjo, it shows that when teaching, the teacher does not use learning media so that students have difficulty understanding the material presented. The teacher is only guided by the package book and Student Worksheet (LKS) and the role of the teacher is more than that of the students. Data collection techniques carried out are through observation, tests, interviews and documentation. Subjects in the study amounted to 32 students / i. The results showed that the classical completeness of student learning outcomes increased in cycle II.

Abstract

Abstract

The background of this research is the importance of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in learning mathematics. This study aims to determine how to increase elementary school students' mathematical problem solving abilities through the application of NHT type cooperative learning and to increase elementary school students' mathematical problem solving abilities through conventional (expository) learning. This research is a quasi-experimental research with Pretest-Postest Control Group design. The research instrument is a test of mathematical problem solving ability. This research was conducted at a public elementary school with A accreditation. The population of this study was students of SDN Kanigaran 3 Probolinggo, East Java, with two classes of fifth grade students as respondents. VA class students as the experimental class and VB class students as the control class. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of this study indicate: (a) the average mathematical ability of elementary school students through NHT type cooperative learning is better than that of elementary school students through conventional (expository) learning, and (b) the improvement of elementary school students' mathematical abilities through cooperative learning type NHT is better than elementary school students through conventional learning (expository)
