Abstract

This research examines the impact of the implementation of the Tahfidzul Qur'an program on the improvement of students' learning achievements in Al-Qur'an Hadith at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar. The study uses a qualitative research approach with a descriptive phenomenological design, employing interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection methods. The data were analyzed using a triangulation technique to ensure accuracy and validity. The findings indicate that the Tahfidzul Qur'an program has a significant positive effect on students' academic performance in Al-Qur'an Hadith. The program, which incorporates methods such as Talqin, Talaqqi, Takrir, and Muroja'ah, enhances students' ability to memorize and understand the Qur'an, which in turn supports their learning in related subjects like Al-Qur'an Hadith. Furthermore, the structured environment provided by the program, supported by regular evaluations and parent involvement, motivates students to engage more deeply with the material, resulting in improved cognitive skills, discipline, and time management. The study also identifies key factors that contribute to the program’s success, including regular evaluations, strong collaboration between the school and parents, and an integrated curriculum. However, challenges such as the limited number of qualified Tahfidz teachers and the students' busy schedules were also noted. These findings suggest that while the program has a substantial positive impact, there is a need for further improvements, particularly in terms of teacher capacity and time management for students. This research contributes to the understanding of how religious education programs, specifically the Tahfidzul Qur'an, can significantly influence academic performance in related subjects. The findings provide insights for educators and policymakers on integrating memorization programs effectively into academic curricula, especially in Islamic educational settings. The study highlights the importance of a holistic approach to learning that combines spiritual, cognitive, and academic development, and it offers recommendations for optimizing such programs to maximize their benefits for students.

Qur'an Center plays an important role in instilling the values of Islamic education which can shape the character and personality of students who are strong, and able to compete in the era of globalization. This research provides important insights for Islamic educational institutions to strengthen Al-Qur'an-based curricula. In addition, this research offers a new approach by integrating the concept of Islamic education from Surah Luqman as an innovation in strengthening character education that is relevant to the challenges of the modern era.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the improvement of Arabic speaking skills through the Muhadatsah method in Special Program (PK) students at Madrasas, especially in class VII students at MTs Negeri 2 Sukoharjo in the 2024/2025 academic year. Arabic, which is the main language of learning at Madrasas, has an important role in daily communication, worship, and reading the Koran. Learning Arabic through Muhadatsah aims to enable students to communicate fluently in Arabic, learn more about worship, and make it easier to read the Koran and pray. The research method used is a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation, while data validity testing used triangulation. Data analysis was carried out in the following steps: 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, 4) drawing conclusions, and 5) verification. The research results showed that the Arabic speaking skills of class VII PK MTs Negeri 2 Sukoharjo students improved through Muhadatsah learning which involved making daily conversations, making speeches, singing, and watching Arabic videos. However, there are several obstacles, such as a lack of basic Arabic for some students and teachers' difficulty in managing time. The proposed solution is to provide assignments at school and at home, so that students can participate in learning better. The impact of this research can enrich Islamic education scholarship, especially in teaching Muhadatsah as an integral part of Arabic language learning. This approach can strengthen students' Arabic language communication skills which are important for daily worship activities, as well as exploring Islamic religious knowledge in more depth.

Abstract

Islamic religious education in the family plays a crucial role in shaping character and supporting children's development, particularly during the elementary school years. This study aims to explore and analyze the role of Islamic religious education in families in supporting the achievement of developmental tasks among elementary school-aged children. The research employs a qualitative method with an exploratory descriptive approach, involving in-depth interviews and participatory observations with six families in Sukajadi District, Bandung, with children aged 6 to 12 years who implement religious education at home. The findings reveal that Islamic religious education in the family significantly contributes to shaping children into individuals who are not only academically intelligent but also morally sound and well-prepared to face life's challenges. Children who receive structured religious education demonstrate strong faith, good character, and high social awareness. This study highlights the importance of designing religious education tailored to children's developmental needs, including daily practice-based learning, moral value instruction, and habitual worship activities. These findings offer practical guidance for parents and educators in integrating Islamic religious education to support children's holistic growth and development. The study also recommends further exploration of the implementation of religious education in broader cultural contexts.

Abstract

Bullying and violence are serious problems that can occur in various environments, including in religious educational institutions such as Islamic boarding schools. As an institution that plays a role in shaping the character of students with high religious and moral values, boarding schools face challenges in creating an environment that is safe and free from bullying. This study aims to analyze the strategies applied in building a pesantren culture without bullying and evaluate the implementation of the anti-violence program at Al-Muayyad Islamic Boarding School in Surakarta. This research uses a field-based qualitative method (field research) with a case study approach. Data were obtained through primary and secondary sources, and collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Al-Muayyad Islamic Boarding School has implemented a comprehensive anti-bullying strategy through the formation of the Sarungan Team, which plays a role in preventing and handling cases of bullying and violence in the pesantren environment. This program has a positive impact, such as a decrease in the number of santri mutations and an increased sense of security and comfort in the pesantren environment. However, the implementation of this program still faces several obstacles, such as limitations in supervising students, a limited number of cadres, and challenges in deliberating with parents in certain cases. This research is expected to be a reference for religious education institutions in developing effective strategies to create a safe, comfortable, and free from bullying and violence pesantren environment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Juz Amma memorization teaching material that enhances students' Quran memorization skills at SMA IT Al-Fityah Binjai. The main focus is addressing the lack of adequate teaching materials for Quran memorization in the school. The development of this teaching material is expected to improve the quality of Quranic teaching and help students memorize more effectively. The study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, consisting of five stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection instruments include questionnaires, learning tests, and interviews. The study involved two subject matter experts and two media experts for material validation and was tested with class XI students enrolled in the tahfiz program. The results show that the subject matter validation received a score of 90% ("valid" with no revisions), and the media design validation scored 93% ("very valid" with no revisions). The average final validation score was 91.5%, categorized as "Very Valid." Additionally, effectiveness testing using pretest and posttest showed significant improvement, with a t-value of -14.455 and a p-value of 0.000, indicating a highly significant difference before and after using the developed teaching material. The study concludes that the ADDIE-based teaching material effectively improves Quran memorization quality. The very valid validation scores and significant improvement in student performance indicate that the material not only enhances memorization skills but also aids in better understanding of the memorized surahs. This research contributes significantly to Islamic Education by providing practical solutions for developing effective Quran memorization learning materials tailored to students' needs and learning styles, thus supporting Quranic teaching in Islamic schools.
