Abstract

Learners' understanding of Pancasila values needs to be revised. The government implemented an independent curriculum to address this, emphasizing strengthening the Pancasila learner profile. Project activities to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students are one of the means to achieve this goal. In its implementation, the role of teachers, including ISMUBA teachers, is very important. This study aims to analyze the role of ISMUBA teachers in implementing the Pancasila learner profile and the factors influencing it at Al Qolam Junior High School. The results showed that ISMUBA teachers have a significant role in implementing the Pancasila learner profile daily. They foster Islamic values, develop critical attitudes, empower students, and apply creative approaches in the teaching process. Implementing the Pancasila learner profile is supported by factors such as government demands, school, and guardian support, and cultivating Pancasila values for students. However, there are also some obstacles, such as school background, limited resources, cultural changes, and information flow. In general, ISMUBA teachers have contributed effectively to the character-building of students in line with the spirit of nationality, tolerance, and social justice promoted by Pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher perceptions of the implementation of accreditation and pit it against the quality of madrasah education. The quality of madrasah education is inseparable from the participation of teachers, who are the prominent individuals to guarantee the quality of a school/madrasah. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of field research. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to State Madrasah teachers in Bengkalis. Data analysis in this study used simple linear regression analysis with Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 25.0 For Windows. The analysis and processing of research data show that: 1) When teachers' perceptions of the implementation of S/M accreditation are very good (positive), it will also have a positive effect on the quality of education of a madrasah. Because there is a significant relationship between teachers' perceptions of the implementation of S/M accreditation and the quality of madrasahs, 2) Internal education customers (especially principals/madrasahs, teachers and education personnel) should not assume that school/madrasah accreditation is only limited to five-year activities prepared by several months before the visitation. Moreover, the results of accreditation must be used as a reference and motivation to always improve the quality of education in schools / madrasah.

Abstract

The curriculum will always change and be updated from time to time, this happens because of the development of technology, communication, culture, and science which also updates the needs of individuals and society. However, this curriculum update will not be useful if the school cannot or fails to implement it, therefore the role of educators and education personnel is very important, especially the role of the principal who is the leader of a school itself. This study aims to raise the focus of the Importance of Principal Leadership in Implementing the New Curriculum to then become a source of information for all parties, especially those interested and in the field of education, especially candidates and principals. The method used in this research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, data obtained from books, journals and other reading materials relevant to this research. After the data is obtained, the data is analyzed by filtering the data according to its type after which the analysis is carried out to obtain conclusions according to what it is. The results of this study indicate that through visionary, strategic leadership, and paying attention to the needs of all stakeholders, principals can lead schools to success in adopting and implementing curriculum changes that can improve the quality of education and student learning outcomes, otherwise if the principal's leadership is poor, it will result in chaos in the implementation of the curriculum which is reflected through the learning process carried out by teachers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the emergence of the assumption that science is said to be scientific if it can be proven empirically and can be accepted by reason. Although the epistemological instruments of Islamic studies are different from Western epistemological instruments, Islam legitimises this opinion by arguing that the most valid level of validity of science only comes from revelation without denying the truth of science obtained through empirical and rational sources. This research was studied using the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) approach. Data were collected from various journals and books relevant to the themes raised in this study. The results of data analysis found that science is said to be scientific if it can be proven empirically and rationally, this opinion is expressed by Western scientists. Whereas in the Islamic view, such as the opinion of Muslim philosophers such as Al-Kindi, Al-Farabi, Ibn Rushd, and Ibn Sina, science will reach the level of scientific validity if it comes from revelation, belief, and sometimes obtained through inspiration. The findings of this study confirm that the Islamic epistemological approach can contribute significantly in advancing Islamic education, by combining empirical, rational, and revelation sources as the basis for developing science.
