Abstract

This research aims to measure the applicability of the PjBL model in PAI subjects regarding caring for and praying for corpses, as well as investigating how student creativity can be developed as a result of implementing this learning model. The research was conducted evaluatively, namely by observing the implementation of the model. The student creativity variable is carried out by product assessment. The sample consisted of two classes with 62 students comprised of 26 male students and 36 female students aged between 16-17 years at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten. The instruments used in this research were (1) an observation sheet, (2) a product assessment questionnaire, and (3) an interview sheet. The observation sheet is used to observe the implementation of the model. The average of the observation data is calculated to conclude the applicability of PjBL implementation. Student creativity data from the questionnaire results was analyzed by calculating the average score for each aspect. The data from the interviews was qualitative and analyzed descriptively. The results show that the learning model was applied well in the material on caring for and praying for corpses. Overall, students have high creativity after learning. Educators need to design and implement projects that are academically relevant and enhance students' creative skills.

Abstract

ChatGPT (Generative Pre-Training Transformer) is one of the media that is often used and accessed by students to get information and facilitate students in learning. In addition, the use of ChatGPT helps students in writing and facilitates students in the writing process. This study aims to find the impact of using ChatGPT on students' writing skills. This study used a quantitative approach by involving the use of questionnaires as one of the data collection techniques. The questionnaire used to collect data in the form of responses and views of students who were intended as respondents in this study was the impact of using ChatGPT on students' writing skills. In research stated that the use of ChatGPT has an impact on students' writing skills, so ChatGPT can be one of the tools or media that can help students in writing and become a medium that helps students to improve writing skills. However, the use of ChatGPT in writing also has a negative impact behind it, which can make students spoiled and lazy to think when writing, this is because ChatGPT technology is able to understand human language so that it can meet what students want.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the competence of Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers in increasing students' potential. The research method used is qualitative based on case studies with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research results show that LPTQ extracurricular management includes planning in (a) implementation time, (b) types of activities, and (c) coaching methods. The implementation of LPTQ activities is organized by the Al-Qur'an Hadith teacher as the supervisor. Teacher competence in increasing student potential consists of pedagogical and personality competence. Teacher pedagogical competence includes understanding the knowledge of the Koran and methods of developing students. This competency is reflected in the teacher's understanding of the art of reading the Al-Qur'an and the use of methods such as singing poetry, memorizing, and tasmi which are adapted to the type of coaching. Apart from that, the teacher's wise, wise and mature personality is the basis for teachers to set a good example to students. Implementation of LPTQ activities includes various coaching such as syarhil Qur'an, fahmil Qur'an, tahfidz Qur'an, khattil Qur'an, and recitations of the Qur'an.

Abstract

Education helps students make the best possible adjustment to their surroundings and can produce changes in themselves that allow them to operate in communal life. Character education is essential for guiding people towards excellent ethics or morals. The Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) is part of the government's efforts to address the long-standing learning crisis, which is exacerbated by the epidemic, by imparting student character education in accordance with the Pancasila student profile. Students will develop positive character traits as a result of the design of appropriate educational modules. Because this research will discuss the design of instructional modules, it will be conducted qualitatively. The findings suggest that the ideal teaching module design incorporates criteria and components from the Pancasila (P5) student profile.

Abstract

The madrasa committee has an important role and function in building a culture of quality at MAN 2 Banyuwangi. The superior quality of MAN 2 Banyuwangi is the main target in madrasa management. This research aims to: (1) analyze the role and function of the madrasa committee in building a quality culture at MAN 2 Banyuwangi, (2) analyze the appropriate strategy for the madrasa committee to implement in building a quality culture at MAN 2 Banyuwangi, (3). identify the obstacles faced by the madrasa committee in building a culture of quality at MAN 2 Banyuwangi. This research includes field research using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis uses Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis which consists of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research: (1) the role and function of the committee in building quality is to be a controller, a mediator, and a manager of donations. (2) Strategy for building a quality culture at MAN 2 Banyuwangi, the committee team created 6 strategies, namely: utilizing committee figures, building networks, collaborating with community leaders, building public trust, branding image and regular meetings. (3) The obstacle for madrasah committees in building a quality culture is the different paradigms of each HR party which influence the performance of the committee, the awareness of committee members and the busyness of each member so that there is less focus on performance.

Abstract

This study explores how counselling service management can overcome burnout in students in madrasas. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to understand the effectiveness of counselling services in the school. The research method used is a qualitative method of case studies. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation studies involving students, counsellors, and teachers. Data analysis uses thematic analysis techniques to identify the main themes that emerge from the data. The results show that an in-depth process of identifying student needs can reduce the risk of burnout by designing more appropriate interventions. The appointment of the right counsellor increases the effectiveness of counselling services through a better understanding of student problems. Ongoing mentoring programs provide emotional and practical support that helps students develop better-coping strategies. In addition, student feedback is used to improve the quality of counselling services. This research contributes significantly by updating the perspective on counselling service management and offering intervention models that can be applied in various educational institutions to overcome burnout. These findings provide practical guidance for other educational institutions to improve their counselling services to address student burnout.

Abstract

Addiction to games occurs due to the release of substances that cause feelings of pleasure and comfort. Psychologically, the emotions of someone with online game addiction are also disturbed. In this case, moral learning can be used as a basis for change to shape character and overcome technology addiction, especially online games. This research aims to describe moral education implemented as an effort to overcome changes in students' morals due to online game addiction. The method used in this research is presented descriptively and analytically through data collection from observation, interviews, and documentation. then analyzed by reducing the data to be presented in the research results. The research results show that moral education applied to overcoming online game addiction in schools can make students focus on participating in learning activities. With supporting factors for an inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to assess the degree of religious moderation among high school students. There are many cases of intolerance and violence between students in South Jakarta, that require a solution in the form of an attitude of religious moderation. Religious moderation, within the Indonesian context, represents a balanced approach to religious practices and beliefs, promoting harmony within the pluralistic Indonesian society. It encompasses an individual's commitment to religious principles, interactions within a diverse community, and civic responsibilities. Religious moderation teaches to have attitudes and actions in middle proportion. This research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive methodology. Data is primarily collected through a structured questionnaire. The study's population consists of high school seniors in South Jakarta, with a representative sample drawn from five schools in the region. The findings reveal an overall mean score of 81.38 on a 0-100 scale, indicating a "good" level of religious moderation. Examining specific indicators, the results are as follows: (1) National commitment scores 80.60, categorizing as "good"; (2) Tolerance scores 82.28, also falling within the "good" category; (3) Anti-violence records 76.92, indicating a "medium" level; and (4) Accommodation of local culture registers 85.73, signifying a "good" level of moderation. This research contributes to providing an overview to the government and schools about the quality of religious moderation among high school students, so that the government and schools can take strategic actions such as developing curriculum, learning strategies and teaching materials in an effort to improve the quality of religious moderation attitudes among students

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in building students' moral resilience at SMK Swasta Tunas Pelita Kota Binjai in the era of globalization. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and interactive analysis, this research involved in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation from teachers, students, and school stakeholders. The research findings show that curriculum integration planning and teacher training contribute positively to students' moral resilience. Effective PAI implementation is done through methods such as discovery learning, group discussions, and extracurricular activities, with teachers acting as facilitators and motivators. Contextual strategies, review of religious texts, and integration with other sciences also strengthen the implementation of religious values in students' lives. Support from the principal and PAI teachers through evolutionary and revolutionary approaches also play an important role in achieving learning objectives. This study highlights the importance of active learning strategies, curriculum integration, and school environment support to shape students' moral resilience, providing practical implications for PAI curriculum development in the era of globalization.

Abstract

Instructional leadership is a pivotal style that significantly enhances teachers professionalism and learning quality, yet it remains underutilized by school principals. This study aims to explore the experiences of school principals, teachers, and students in implementing instructional leadership to improve professionalism and learning quality. The research adopts a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, focusing on Mardi Yuana High School in Cianjur and in Sukabumi. Sixteen participants, including two school principals, ten teachers, and four students, are involved. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis using Nvivo 12 Pro. Findings indicate that principals implement instructional leadership by setting goals, managing learning processes, and fostering a conducive climate, They adopt collaborative and participative principles, encouraging teachers to attend training sessions and conducting classroom supervision to enhance professionalism. Additionally, principals focus on improving learning quality by providing necessary training and learning facilities. Therefore, the optimization of instructional leadership practices is highly recommended to achieve better educational outcomes.
